  • Summary:

    A beach stay for two should feel easy from the first morning. This 613-square-foot, one-bedroom Sugar Beach Resort condo has one bed and one bath for a maximum of two guests, plus a kitchen, WiFi, and an in-home washer and dryer. Walk the beachfront, slip into the shared pool or hot tub when you prefer a slower afternoon, and keep Maalaea Harbor in mind for a boat outing. South Kihei is an easy drive for coffee, dinner, and Kamaole Beach Park III. The scale is right for a couple who wants the convenience of a home base and a beach close enough to visit more than once a day. Air conditioning is provided.



    The Space:

    With one bedroom, one bed, and one bath, this 613-square-foot condo is sized for a two-person trip. The kitchen helps you start the morning on your own schedule, and WiFi plus an in-home washer and dryer are useful for longer stays. It is a simple interior with the practical comfort needed after time outdoors.



    Guest Access:

    Guests at Sugar Beach Resort enjoy access to the shared communal pool, hot tub, and BBQ grills right along the shore in Kihei. The building offers an elevator, disabled parking spot, and accessible-height features for easy access. Beach access and landscaped grounds with a garden round out the on-site amenities.



    The Neighborhood:

    For couples, North Kihei offers a softer-paced South Maui base. Sugar Beach is made for long walks and easy swims, while Kealia Pond National Wildlife Refuge provides a quieter outing away from the shoreline. Maalaea Harbor and Maui Ocean Center are nearby for an afternoon plan. South Kihei adds more dining, coffee, and the beach scene around Kamaole Beach Park III, all an easy drive from this waterfront side of town.



    Getting Around:

    Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.

Great views! Comfortable!

We really enjoyed spending time on the lanai and enjoying the beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean. The beach is also a real plus for swimming. The condo is very comfortable, updated and a great vacation location.

Beautiful location to relax! Centrally located to everything that we wanted to see. We loved spending time on the lanai each morning watching the waves roll in. So peaceful! We will definitely stay here again!

We loved staying here for the holidays. It was quiet, and there were condos that had Christmas lights. Very clean, with a sweet aloha package when we arrived.

Beautiful condo!

This is a beautiful condo and location. It was near restaurants and the beach was easily accessible. The view from the balcony was incredible. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat! Strongly recommend.

Great beach view. Easy access to property on second floor, near elevator and parking. Loved 2nd floor vs being on ground floor for views. Close to pool, but not loud. Extra window on side, added lots of light to main room.

A view of paradise

This is a great condo, with a perfect view of the ocean. Easy beach access and nice pool area. After 9pm it was quiet and relaxing. We would definitely stay here again. Bonus during whale season is to sit on the deck and watch the whales.

Cozy, comfortable and well equipped.

Absolutely loved being oceanfront. The views are amazing and hearing the sound of the ocean right outside the window helped me to sleep well. Definitely would love to stay here again. Especially love having my owner washer and dryer in the condo.

Lovely home on the beach

This condo was perfect for my husband and me. We love the lanai and beautiful ocean view. The property was very clean, decor is lovely, and it was stocked with everything we needed (except a stopper for the kitchen sink, and a microwave cover). The bed is very comfortable.
