I have visited this property almost a dozen times over the last 35 years. This is the best location to locate on the island since you can walk to 3 other hotels and the mall. This last unit we stayed at looks like it had never been updated since the 70’s. Really run down but if all you are going to do is sleep there it is a good value. Mahalo.

Nice but out dated. Looks and feels like 1985

The Elua property really is amazing and our family loves the location. It really can’t get more ideal with proximity to beach, shopping and options for eating out, We have now stayed at the property a handful of times over the years. This unit #2010 is the most out dated we’ve experienced at the property. A full refresh is needed badly. The decor, carpet and bedding likely date back to the mid 80s early 90s and it definitely shows and feels that way. Not that new always feels clean but this type of old definitely feels lived in….like 30+ years lived in. The main couch in the family room and the toaster and microwave are newer but that is about it. Shag carpet is really worn and dirty. Remodel / refresh is badly needed. We love the property and area but in being able to compare this unit to others we have stayed at in property we won’t choose to stay in this unit again unfortunately.

The views and location are awesome! Yes it is dated but clean. I would definitely stay here again. If you want plush interior this is not the place, if you want comfy, incredible grounds, location and views. This is wonderful.

Beautiful views

Amazing balcony views, we had 3 adults, a teen, a pre-teen and a 5 year old and there was plenty of space for us! They even offer grocery delivery which is amazing and will get you all set up so you can spend more time enjoying your stay and less time at the Safeway. The grounds are immaculate. Yes the furniture is slightly dated, but honestly are you even in your room that much to care? We were pleasantly surprised on our arrival to find an extra air mattress, we had planned on our youngest just to crash on the couch, but that air mattress maid a huge difference. There are plenty of extra linens. Having the gated access is great. The walking path to the beach (which isn’t that far) was amazing.

Condo unit needs work-property location great!

Property was great.....condition of actual condo 'not so great'. Unit badly needs updating and carpet was very dirty and old! Lighting in living room poor for reading and overall appearance of this unit was very out-of-date and 'cluttered'!

Beautiful condo in a great location in SW Maui

We stayed here with our 2 grown kids and really enjoyed the ocean views and easy access to Ulua Beach and the Wailea Beach path. There is a grocery store which carries most items about a 5' walk away plus Whalers and a ABC store which were really handy. Everything else is a short drive away in Kihei. You can reach all the SW Maui Beaches in 5-15' drive. Some of the furnishings, appliances and decor is a bit dated but if you can get past those, it's a nice play to stay. The overall complex is very quiet and mellow and there is a lot of room between the buildings.

Excellent location with a great view. Anything you want is in the unit. It's too bad the owner doesn't want to update the interior. Particularly the furniture which is way too big. The big sectional is not particularly comfortable, so I'm not sure how this would work for larger groups and longer stays. I knew is was outdated going in, so I was ok with it for a five night visit.

Wailea Village - Condo review

A great location with a wonderful ocean view. Great snorkeling a few hundred yards away. Unit itself is very clean but has not been updated since it was built in the late 1970's/early 1980's. Most other units in the complex have been updated with granite counter tops, tiled/wood floor, open floor plans, stainless appliances, updated furniture, etc. Overall a good value for the location.

We wouldn't stay there again.

The condo is in a beautiful development, but the inside of the condo is worn and terribly dated. The kitchen appliances are the cheapest possible, and the cabinets and counter tops are very old and scratched. The carpeting is loose and worn. We did reach out to the manager, but didn't get a response.

Gorgeous location with amazing views

We really enjoyed our stay at the property. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 to spread out and sleep comfortably. Parking was convenient (and free), and the beach chairs and cooler provided made our trips to the beach a piece of cake. The location was prime. We could easily walk to the beach, walk to the pool and walk to the shops at Wailea for dinner or shopping. Parts of the property were a tad dated but the huge lanai and sweeping ocean views definitely made up for it!

Overall a very nice unit. The view from the lanai is great, and we enjoyed some nice whale watching; however, it is not very private, and one can see and hear everyone else on nearby patios. The kitchen appliances are a tad outdated. We were disappointed that there is no recycling.

View was great but the unit has not been updated probably since it was built. Carpet felt dirty, pulling up in areas, dirt on wall and ceiling's. Had to take our clothes out of the dresser's because of the smell. OLD !

Fabulous Condo

The Condo was very nice but the best part was the panoramic view of the ocean. The large lanai was fabulous for enjoying the views!
