Kamaole Sands 7-103 is a 1-bedroom, 2-bath condo situated on the ground floor level and can accommodate up to 4 guests, featuring a split A/C system in the living area. Beautiful garden views await you to enjoy paradise from the comforts of your private lanai. Dine al fresco on your private lanai overlooking the lush and well cared for grounds of the resort. Or enjoy meals inside the condo at the dining table that seats 4. The interior provides all the comforts of home: a convenient and well stocked kitchen, countertop seating, comfortable living area with a 55" TV and complimentary Wi-Fi. The bedroom has a King bed and the living room offers a Queen sofa sleeper to accommodate additional guests. With 2 separate bathrooms, this unit is perfect for couples travelling together or families! The main bedroom also includes a 55" TV for your enjoyment.

For the safety of all guests and to ensure proper emergency communication, Kamaole Sands requires all guests to check in at the front desk upon arrival. My Perfect Stays provides your reservation details in advance, so the front desk staff will be expecting you and ready to welcome you. Please note that failure to complete the check-in process will result in a $100 fee charged to the guest.

*Kamaole Sands charges a resort fee, which is already included in your reservation total—we'll take care of this on your behalf.

The fees break down as follows:
-Resort Registration Fee: $35
-Resort Fee: $41.67

This brings the total check-in fees (with tax) to $76.67 (This does not include any applicable credit card fees.)

It is close to many shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. Located in South Kihei, this resort is close to many of Maui's top 10 beaches, such as Wailea Beach and Makena Beach.

Perfect for a family of four

We spend Thanksgiving in Kihei and loved our stay. The unit had everything that we needed. We especially appreciated the beach wagon that was in the outside storage closet. We would happily return to this unit!

Great Condo!

This was a great condo! It was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable for our family of 4. I noticed it has one of the larger lanais, which was great for morning coffee as the sun rises, or a drink in the evening as the stars came out! It had a good selection of beach accessories, which was a nice surprise. It also has one of the most comfortable pull-out sofa beds I’ve encountered. We would definitely stay here again!

Great condo for our family

We had an enjoyable stay in this unit. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed, including all beach gear you could want! We loved having easy access to the outdoor grassy area especially with young kids, and the location within the complex was great. The lanai is a great size too. The unit itself is a little dated and could use some updating and cosmetic fixes (sections of repaired drywall were not painted, kitchen faucet only worked on the spray setting, screen door handle is loose), but everything was functional and we weren’t bothered by it. I would stay in this unit again!

Quiet and convenient

This was our fourth stay at Kamaole Sands, our first at this unit. It was perfect for us. The concrete building is super quiet - didn’t hear our neighbours at all. It was well equipped with beach chairs, cooler, beach towels and Tupperware and the kitchen had everything we needed. The lanai felt very private for a ground floor unit and it was in the shade all day which was great. The condo had silent, effective air conditioning that kept the entire unit at the perfect temperature. We had one request of the property manager and it was fulfilled right away. We will definitely be booking this unit again!

Great location!

Beautiful grounds and great location being on the bottom floor, easy access to everything! The suite was decent but was a bit run down, we overall had a great time being our first vacation as a family and since Covid. Still definitely worth the stay, just maybe needs a little tlc! We will definitely be back to see Hawaii again in the future!

Beautiful Maui

Our favorite place is Maui and our favorite place to stay is Kamole Sands. Other units we have stayed in are beautifully updated for function and comfort. This one is in great need of some updating, repair and replacement improvements. MyPerfectStays was very responsive to our concerns and did what they could in the time they had. Some things just simply couldn’t be fixed without parts and/or needed to be replaced, most notably the exhaust fan in the 2nd bathroom and the air conditioner. They were very pleasant to work with and we appreciated them very much. Our stay was enjoyable, after all it is Maui, but will look for a more updated condo on the next visit. Mahalo!

Great location!

This place is a part of a big Kamaole Sands complex which is very well maintained. It is also located right across Kamaole Beach Park III. It is a first floor with a direct exit to the lawn, no need to use elevators or stairs, just drag your cart directly to the lanai :-) Ice maker in the freezer was of a great help, as well as the washer and dryer. There were a couple of things that bothered me though: - a/c unit that is inside the main room is quite noisy :-( I could hear it in the bedroom. It is probably asking to be fixed. - dishwaser in the kitchen is leaking - there were very little ants crawling around in the kitchen and in the hallway bathroom - hallway bathroom also seems to have a leak somewhere in the sink area as I found my feet wet after brushing my teeth (this doesn't happen often, tbh :-)) ) - ventilation in the bedroom is a little noisy too but after busy a day outside we didn't really care much and slept through. Don't hesitate to open the windows in the bedroom for the night, it makes things much better. Overall it's a great place to stay, it just seem that it needs to get a little love before it gets perfect :-)

Great location, but very poorly managed.

The Good: the location is great (cross the street and you're on the beach!). The neighborhood is well maintained and quiet. The bad: the condo is poorly maintained and very poorly managed. The main problem seems to be the layer of abstraction between the renter, the owner, and the property management company. We called My Perfect Stays multiple times to report problems or request assistance, but, while the representative I spoke with was very kind, they were effectively useless due to being at the mercy of being a middleman with the owner. The first example of the problem is that it took 3 days to get internet access working. Account details were being requested to complete initial setup, and all the management company could do was leave a message with the owner asking for the details. They were never able to contact the owner. This was eventually resolved by me calling and sitting on hold with Spectrum tech support. Not a huge deal, but also not what you want to be solving during a vacation. The second, and much more extreme example, is that we arrived at the property on the 3nd day to find that the air conditioner had leaked everywhere leaving several pieces of furniture soaked and a puddle of water stretching over the living room floor. Upon moving the water logged pieces outside to dry, we could see the extensive water damage on the floor board, which suggests this is an ongoing problem. We called My Perfect Stays to alert them to the issue. We explained we used several towels to clean up the leak, but, again, apparently because of the layer of abstraction between the company and the owner, they said that they wouldn't be able to get access to the linen closet, and thus couldn't provide any fresh towels. So, the suggested solution was that we "do the laundry". Again, not the type of problems you want to be solving during vacation. A maintenance person was supposed to come and fix the air conditioner that day. However, we're unsure if they ever came, as the air conditioner continued to leak throughout the night. I slept on the living room couch that night so that I could periodically empty the water from our ramshackle drip collection system. On top of this were "little" issues like dishes and silverware being visibly dirty (very gross), and the general state of disrepair of the place (mentioned in other reviews). So, overall, I would not recommend this particular stay.

This condo was in poor shape. Several loose cupboard doors, patio door did not lock on ground floor, unorganized closets with items thrown in carelessly, dirty silverware , wall patches poorly repaired and lots of cobwebs from ceiling and fans were some things we noticed. Also a lot of bugs in this condo. Bed was clean and comfortable and a/c worked well.

The ground floor unit is accessible as far as having no stairs. The bathrooms however are way too small to fit a wheelchair into. The doors are really narrow into the bathroom.

Being able to walk off the back patio from the first floor was a dream. We were steps away from sunset views, grill station, pool, tennis courts, and beautiful beaches. There are multiple restaurants and shops to walk to also. Grounds at the entire condo complex were immaculate and impressive to my wife and I who were Maui 1st timers.

Location, Location, Location...!

I've stayed at three locations in the last 30days at the Kamaole Sands (Blgs 2, 9, & 7), & have a great feel of the complex & condos. The most impressive feature of this condo is the location. Situated on the 1st floor in Building 7 makes for easy access to the interior courtyard & pool, as well as the perimeter (gate access to both S. Kihei Rd & Keonakai Rd) to access the beach & restaurants. The lanai opens up to the interior of the courtyard, providing an extremely beautiful view of the gardens while still being far enough from the interior walkways to provide privacy & not feel like there is foot traffic in your space. This was a "work from home" vacation for me & the wifi was adequate in the main dining/living room of the condo as well as outside on the Lanai. The wifi, however, did not work anywhere else (bedroom, etc) given the distance from the router which was a bummer but typical w/ these floor plans so I'll give that a pass. The wifi log-in info was not provided as part of the welcome information from mngt nor located in the actual condo which meant having to call the property mngt "after hours" line to get the info. Not too big of a hassle but caused a bit of a worry at first. Property mngr was quick with communication otherwise. The condo was very clean upon arrival and plenty of quality, clean bath towels & a beach towel were provided. This condo, as all condos do, provide a starter amount of paper towels, toilet paper, soap, detergent, etc. so you'll have to purchase more if you are staying for more than a week. The kitchen was stocked with ample cookware, utensils, glasses, ceramic plates & bowls and the stove, oven, & microwave come in very handy for those meals you wish to prepare on your own. The furniture (bed, sofa, table & chairs) were comfortable. Sole AC unit was more than adequate but the AC relay to bedroom is noisy. The only minor gripes I have are 1.)the coffee maker has a missing metal strainer and I had to purchase paper filters to make make my coffee, 2.)the back to the lounger on the lanai was not operable as all the plastic hooks were broken so the lounger stuck in the horizontal position, & 3.)the lighting is old/inefficient- a.)the dining room light/ceiling fan unit cannot be turned on w/o activating the ceiling fan too which creates a flashing/strobe light affect, b.)kitchen & bathroom ceiling light covers are falling off & need replacement a/o adjustment. Well managed property and would def stay again! Mahalo~
