Spectacular views of the ocean, West Maui Mountains and beautifully landscaped grounds await you from our (sixth) top floor oceanfront condo at KOA Lagoon in Kihei. You will enjoy brilliant sunsets and whale watching as you relax on our large lanai listening to the gentle sound of the ocean.
Our unit has a well-furnished kitchen for those that prefer to do their own cooking and enjoy our spectacular view. The entire unit has tile flooring to create a clean inviting atmosphere. We have ceiling fans and A/C in both the living room area and the bedroom. The six-floor complex has an elevator.

The large lanai, the spacious living room or the large dining room are great places to watch the whales or view the beautiful Maui sunsets. KOA Lagoon is located 15 minutes from the Kahului airport, and just minutes from seven world class golf courses, many beautiful beaches, shopping centers and restaurants.

This has always been a non-smoking unit and the KOA Lagoon complex is a non-smoking complex in its' entirety. No smoking in the units, on the lanais, in the swimming pool area, the walkways or parking lot. Additionally, the KOA Lagoon Complex does not allow pets except for certified assistance/service animals.

This complex has been our go-to for the past 15 years. It is ocean front and has a wonderful beach walk access, in addition to a spectacular sunset view. Kerry was very prompt in responding to inquiries and provided detailed instructions relating to the accommodation.

Great location and beautiful views.

This was our third time staying at Koa Lagoon Codos. Excellent location, close to all amnesties, shops, restaurant and the beach. Awesome views specially at sunset. The place was clean and comfortable. A bit low on kitchen supplies but nothing critical. Strongly recommend staying at this place.

Disappointed. Too much to list....

I have used the same facility every time I go visit Maui. And every visit I was very satisfied until this last visit. However I will go the other route. As the saying goes....If I have nothing nice to say, I might as well not say anything at all.

Amazingly beautiful view!

The Koa Lagoon Condominiums have the most beautiful views and the beach is wonderful. My room was very clean and comfortable - felt like home. I love that the pool was heated. This vacation has been such a fun and relaxing experience. I am hoping to come back again. I made a lot of great memories. 🏝️😎🐢

View can’t be beat!

We loved staying here at the Koa Lagoon. The Lanai is huge and the view is stunning. There was a few blinds missing on the big windows and in late afternoon it gets really hot and the sun is blinding. We loved having beach chairs to use and having a washer and dryer was awesome.

Amazing view of the ocean.

Large covered Lania separated from condo with glass wall with big sliding doors. Very nice relaxing setting. Watched the sunset over the ocean and saw whales. WiFi worked great too. Convenient keypad access. Bus stop right next door. Use the Maui buss app to see time to next buss. Parking also included.

Our favorite place on Maui

We love Koa Lagoon. Wonderful location on the beach, and gorgeous views of whales, ocean, and sunsets. This unit is spacious, well appointed, and well maintained. We would be happy to return.

Quiet and What a View!

Beachfront, nicely kept grounds and facilities. Smaller building, not overcrowded. Everything clean and up to date. The condo is roomy, lite colored, everything is in good working order. Floor to ceiling windows facing the ocean. Close to shopping and food but not overwhelming. Quiet and restful.

Attention to detail...

We have stayed in other units at Koa Lagoons in the past and the units are spacious, modern, and well appointed. My wife dropped a charm from her necklace onto the sleeper sofa the morning we checked out. As I searched under the cushions with no success I pulled the sleeper away from the wall and found paper wrappers, dust, dirt, and of all things the underside of the sofa had deteriorated and was in pieces on the floor. Previous guests had also spilled drinks and the remnants were also on the floor. It was obvious the furniture had not been moved for a proper cleaning in months, if ever.

Best Location Ever

The condo itself in addition to the immaculate grounds and accommodations totally made our stay in Maui. The view from our room was spectacular and could not have been more beautiful. The picture on this site is exactly what you’ll see, but even better in person. The sunset views from our room each night were breathtaking. If you’re skeptical at all, don’t be. It is what you’re looking for when going to Maui. It was just so perfect in every way, and the location in town was convenient as well. We were close by everything with so many other fun things to do while in Maui. We’re already looking forward to another visit hopefully in the near future. Mahalo.

Perfect getaway

This property was the perfect place for a getaway- relaxing, clean and well maintained. We came to Maui to celebrate our anniversary. The location in Kihei is a short drive from so many wonderful adventures and far enough from major hot spots so we could enjoy the peace of nature and the ocean. The condo maintenance staff was constantly at work keeping up the place but mot at all intrusive. Would love to stay here again when we come back to Maui.

The view!!

This place is in the perfect location, the condo was clean, quiet, and comfortable, the entire complex and surrounding grounds were meticulously cared for, and the view from the large balcony was amazing!! We appreciated the two AC units that kept the place cool, the washer and dryer, the well-stocked kitchen, and the beach chairs, umbrella, towels, and cooler that were available to us. We’d definitely stay here again!

Great location but needs updating and a deep clean

The views, location (in midpoint of island) were excellent. I knew the decor was dated and I didn’t worry about that when reserving. But once there, it felt dingy and it was kinda uncomfortable. There was nothing blatantly dirty to the normal eye, but it was little things that added up: the visible dust on the toilet paper holder, the dirtiness in the light switches (bathroom), the cabinet fronts and crevases needed a good cleaning (esp the bathroom), randomly dirty doors and walls (from normal wear, similar to what most people have in homes), the floors weren't visibly dirty (outside of the notable grout discoloration) but still after walking barefoot our feet were definitely dirty (as someone else mentioned), and lastly for sensitive smellers-there was an odd old smell in master and I had to buy airfreshener (it's in the utility closet if you need it!). It just all adds up to me. And I did not reach out to complain, I didn't want to deal with that during our vacation. I'm sure they would have been responsive. Lastly, I slept so bad because of the air conditioning unit - it was bright (finally were able to cover it) and it literally points at the bed side where you lay your head. When updates are finally done would recommend a mini split. Would I stay here over a place with no view, yes. Would I stay here over a differ condo that was updated and cost slightly more? No. Inevitably the owner must make updates or the less than 4-5 stars will add up.
