Newly and beautifully remodeled from top to bottom, this golf-course-front condo in the heart of Wailea will treat you to sunset views over the ocean and an overwhelming feeling of aloha. Enjoy thoughtful additions, including three split Mitsubishi air-conditioning units, new furnishings and mattresses, new tile work in the showers, and new floors, cabinets, and granite countertops. Whip up favorite beach snacks and homecooked meals in the well-equipped kitchen - the fridge includes an ice maker for crisp beverages. Sip your coffee on the lanai as passing golfers putt for par, or sunbathe by the shared swimming pool and hot tub as the plumeria scents waft by. You'll always come home to high-speed WiFi, three flatscreen TVs, and majestic sunsets to view from the lanai.

This condo sits less than a mile from Wailea Beach, which is known as one of Maui's premier beaches and a fantastic snorkeling and SUP spot. Many national high-end shops, local retailers, and Maui musicians are featured in The Shops at Wailea half a mile down the hill. Near there, you'll find great views and food at Manoli's Pizza Company, an ideal spot to end your day after playing 18 at the Wailea Blue Course (known locally as 'Old Blue'). For a romantic night, head to the nearby Four Seasons and take in the sunset at the beachside Ferraro's Bar e Ristorante.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Great location. Clean place

We loved the location and the place was very clean with some nice updates. Loved our little ocean view! I’d make one recommendation and that’d be to add some decorations to the place like pictures on the walls would make it so much more inviting and warm. It would really finish off all the work you’ve put into the place. Thanks for everything!

They need to hire a new cleaning staff!!!

When we checked in in the middle of the night we found the sheets to have hair and stains and crumbs in the bed! We had to strip the beds and change the sheets in the middle of the night. I was very upset! Also the mattress cover was filthy with all kinds of stains so Vacasa bought over a new mattress pad that I had to change. I did not want to touch it! Also there’s a sign to remove shoes but when we did our socks got filthy from the floors. Also it’s on a golf course so it’s very noisy at 5:00- 6:00 am when they are cutting the grass. We were awaken just about every morning. There were a couple of positives, the air conditioner was nice and cold. The condo is a great size with a pretty good ocean view.

Nice Condo but Misleading Description

The location of Grand Champions is amazing. The unit was remodeled very nicely. But there are a few things that we were not terribly pleased with. First of all, the washing machine was broken. We understand that stuff happens, but they didn't let us know about it until it was too late for us to cancel/change our reservation despite the fact that they knew about the washing machine as early as January. Two reviewers mentioned it but the reviews were posted in Feb after we booked so we never saw them, and we weren't informed until 11 days before our stay. They refunded us a couple hundred dollars, but that too felt very deceptive - kind of like instead of telling people in a timely manner, let's wait until they can't cancel and throw a few bucks at them to keep them quiet. To be fair, the local Vacasa gal was great (Jess) and provided extra towels and linens, but we rented a condo specifically to have amenities like a washer/dryer and a kitchen. The second issue that I can' believe no one has mentioned is that this unit is located on the golf course, and specifically on a green. This means VERY loud mowing and banging at 5:30 am. Third, the unit seemed very clean but the floors... not so much. They ask you to remove your shoes, but walking barefoot on the tile turns your feet black nearly instantly. Also, we spilled some water and wiped it up with a kitchen towel which turned completely black. Kinda gross. Lastly, and more of a heads-up, there are no beach chairs or umbrellas in the unit. We met a few folks at GC who all said their units had that stuff, but we had to rent. Auntie Snorkel in Kihei was a great rental spot. Overall, the vacation was amazing, Maui is amazing, and Grand Champions was great. Maybe reconsider Vacasa managed units, or at least be diligent with research and/or check back on the listing to make sure things haven't changed without your knowledge.

Okay Stay - Washer/Dryer being broken was disappointing

Location of the property was great! We loved being walking distance to the Wailea shopping and the island market and having two pools nearby. However, we chose a condo since we were visiting for 10 days and only packed what was necessary so we were disappointed to see that the washer and dryer were broken. We couldn’t wash our clothes and they only gave you 1 towel per person and we couldn’t wash them either. We wish we would have been made aware that the washer and dryer was broken so we could plan accordingly or find a different place to stay. Also, would have been nice if more bath towels/beach towels were there for us to use and paper towels. We were only left one roll of paper towels (don’t even think it was a full roll) and ended up having to buy paper towels since we ran out. Last thing we noticed was that the sign by the front door says to remove shoes so we tried to stick with that rule the first few days but the floors clearly hadn’t been cleaned before we got there so the bottom of our feet just turned black anytime we were barefoot. Overall, our stay was ok. Probably wouldn’t stay here again though.

Wonderful stay in Wailea

We had a wonderful stay at this condo in Wailea. The location was great, and the condo layout and space was perfect for our family of 4. We had a few minor complaints - one was that the floor wasn’t well cleaned (we didn’t wear shoes indoors and our feet were black after walking around!). Generally the decor of the property is pretty basic. Also, it would have been nice to have a few things available to use for the beach, like folding chairs etc. But overall, we had a comfortable stay!

Great Location in Wailea

We needed an affordable and convenient location to stay in Wailea for our party of 4 and we were absolutely thrilled with our choice. The condo was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The views of the ocean and golf course were terrific. The location was perfect for our daily sightseeing adventures. We would highly recommend this condo and would return again.

Beautiful condo, great view, few “extras”...

We loved our stay at Grand Champions #87, but would suggest more than 1 bath towel per person for a week’s stay. There are times when a girl needs a towel for her hair and one for her body. When I asked about getting extras, the manager said we could do laundry... I don’t mind doing laundry, but for the price we paid for this condo, seems 2 bath towels per person might be more appropriate... and bath mats for the bathroom floors would be nice. Other than that, just know this isn’t a “homey” place.... Has all the kitchen necessities, is very clean & remodeled, but no beach gear other than one beach towel per person...

Grand Champion!

Great place! Beautiful unit and very peaceful. Visiting from Oahu and stayed 3 nights. Would recommend this place. Unit was fully furnished with everything one could need.

Condo is clean but run down - needs some upgrades (other rentals in same complex are much nicer inside, and same price). Outside lanai, view and property grounds are beautiful. Gave us wrong code to door, so had to make 3 calls to get in. Also, no binder or instruction as to what keys were for, how to get into pool, where garbages were, etc. Halfway through found beach chairs, cooler and snorkel gear, which was nice to use. Designated parking spot was close to condo. Good location (amenities in walking distance). Upgrades needed - a couple outlets didnt work, one toilet doesnt flush all the time, tile kitchen outdated/grout dirty, etc.

Location! Location! Location!

The property was roomy and very comfortable and looked exactly like the photos. We loved having our Kona coffee on our private Lanai overlooking the golf course and the Pacific every morning ! The location is convenient to beaches, restaurants and lots of activities. our last evening we grilled Maui hamburgers at the pool grill and watched a spectacular sunset from our Lanai! Location ! Location! location!
