Bring the whole group to Maalaea Surf with two private 2-bedroom, 2-bath condos right on Sugar Beach in Maalaea: four bedrooms in all, two full kitchens, two upper-floor lanais facing the ocean, central air conditioning in both homes, and the resort's two pools, tennis and pickleball courts, shuffleboard and barbecues a short stroll across the lawn from either front door.



What we guarantee: Both condos are always inside the Maalaea Surf complex, whether they share a building or sit in separate buildings, and always within a 2-3 minute walk of each other along the beachfront lawn. Unit A is a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo and Unit B is a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo, with exactly the beds listed below in every bedroom. Unit A's lanai sits directly above the beach with the ocean filling the view; Unit B's lanai looks across the lawn, pool and palms to the ocean. Both homes are kept to the same standard you see in these photos. If we ever could not deliver that, you would approve the alternative first or receive a full refund.

The 4 bedrooms sleep 8 guests at 2 per bedroom, and the sleeper sofa in each living room sleeps 2 more, adding 4 additional guests for a combined maximum of 12.



Unit A is the beachfront home: a living room under a vaulted ceiling with a white sofa and two swivel chairs, a round reclaimed-wood dining table for four, and a white shaker kitchen with grey quartz counters, stainless appliances, a farmhouse sink and an island with three wicker stools, with a white spiral staircase up to a loft. Sliding doors open onto a lanai with a table and four chairs set above the beach. The king master has plantation shutters and a bathroom with a walk-in shower; the twin bedroom uses the second full bath with a double vanity and a glass walk-in shower. A stacked washer and dryer are in a closet.



Unit B is the home over the lawn: a vaulted living room with two blue sofas and a wall-mounted TV, a dining table for six, and an oak kitchen with granite counters, stainless appliances and a bar with two stools, with a black spiral staircase up to the loft master bedroom. Sliding doors open onto a lanai looking over the lawn and pool to the ocean. The loft master has a king bed, a ceiling fan and a wall-mounted TV; the downstairs bedroom has two twin beds. One bathroom has a tub-shower and the other a glass walk-in shower.



Good to know before you book: each condo has its own front door and its own entry details, so the two groups come and go independently. Maalaea Surf's buildings are two storeys with no elevator, and both homes are upper-floor condos reached by a flight of stairs, each with a spiral staircase inside to its loft, so tell us if stairs are a concern. Free parking is on site, both homes have central air conditioning and ceiling fans, and there is a 4-night minimum with check-in from 3 PM and check-out by 11 AM.

The lanai has a white table and four chairs and sits directly above the lawn and Sugar Beach, with the ocean filling the view. The living room sofa is a sleeper for two more guests, bringing this home's total to 6. The master bedroom has a king bed on a wicker platform frame, plantation shutters, a ceiling fan and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has two twin beds and uses the second full bathroom with a double vanity and a glass walk-in shower. Your reservation includes the private interiors of both Unit A and Unit B, each with its own front door and its own entry details, plus the shared Maalaea Surf resort amenities: the two pools, tennis and pickleball courts, shuffleboard courts, barbecue areas and the beachfront lawn. Free parking is on site. Arrival instructions, entry details and parking information for each condo are sent before check-in.



The Neighborhood:

Maalaea sits at the center of Maui's southern coastline, tucked between the West Maui Mountains and the slopes of Haleakala. Sugar Beach, a long and largely uncrowded stretch of golden sand, begins at Maalaea Surf's lawn and runs north toward Kihei. The Maalaea Harbor shops are within easy walking distance with casual waterfront dining, fresh fish and the Maui Ocean Center aquarium, one of the premier marine exhibits in the Pacific and a highlight for families, and the harbor is where many snorkel and whale-watching boats depart. Kihei's beaches, restaurants and shops are a few minutes south, Wailea's resorts and golf a little beyond, and Kahului, Iao Valley and the road to Haleakala are all a short drive.



Getting Around:

Kahului Airport (OGG) is roughly 8 to 10 miles from Maalaea Surf, a drive of about 15 to 20 minutes depending on traffic, and most guests find that renting a car at the airport is the most practical way to explore Maui's beaches, hiking areas and restaurants. Rideshare services operate on Maui and can handle airport transfers, though coverage can be inconsistent during peak hours, so a rental car for day-to-day use is strongly recommended. The Maui Bus serves the Maalaea and Kihei corridor on limited schedules, and the harbor shops and aquarium are reachable on foot.
