Enjoyed ourselves, would stay here again!
When we arrived, the office was closed from 12-1 but we checked in shortly after and the lady who helped was friendly and helpful.
We were able to get in our room after 3pm and it was just as it was described. Everything was just as advertised. Room was clean and everything worked as advertised. Nice deck and table off on back patio outside sliding door. AC worked great for living room and master bedroom. Nice ceiling fan in living room helped circulate air. Kitchen was clean and nice. All appliances and utensils were clean. The pool wasn't anything fancy but was nice and clean, our kids enjoyed it a few evenings. The room came with a tote on the patio that had chairs, a cooler, beach toys and an umbrella. Two of the chairs were broken but the owner contacted us and replaced them the same day, very much appreciated.
The location was great. Within walking distance to several stores and restaurants as well as beaches directly across the street. Parking was great and we were always able to find spaces by our unit.
The only negative thing about our stay was there is quite a bit of street noise. Traffic noise was pretty common all night but we used a fan and that helped drown out some of the noise. We also had landscapers and maintenance people working right outside our room a few times around 7am. Not a dealbreaker but noticeable.
Overall, very happy and would stay here again. Communication with the owner was easy and made our stay nice and pleasant. Thanks!

Not worth the money
The condo was LOUD! The delivery trucks next door, the traffic on the road etc was pretty bad. The air conditioning unit doesn’t work. The window panes in the bedroom rattle all night long. The price was not commensurate with the poor location and condition. Our family owns two units at Kai Nani that are very well appointed (better than this unit by a long shot) and they don’t charge anywhere near this price. We will not rent this unit in the future.
However, we found everyone at Sunny Maui Vacations delightful.

Kehai Condo
We rented two different condos at Kehai Kia Nani. Such a great location as it was central to so many of our activities. 2 min walk to beach, clean and well kept grounds. Condos are a little dated but so clean and well stocked with supplies.

Kihei Kai Nani
Great location BUT this condo needs WORK! The screen door was barely usable and very noisy for the upstairs residence. Bathroom door and walls need to be painted. The entire condo needs a facelift...rusted hinges, rusted louvered windows (some which did not even open), beach chairs ancient in bad shape, this condo has zero personality! Bedroom can be noisy due to the strip mall parking lot next door. The swimming pool was a joke, also needs an update.
Only positive note about this condo is that the management Sunny Maui Vacation Rental group was Excellent..very responsive and attentive to our needs. They manage this complex and a few others so look for a better condo with them.

Great location! - needs some upgrades!
We have been staying at KKN for years and have even stayed in this unit (before it went to a rental agency). You absolutely cannot beat the location in building #2. It offers a beautiful lawn for the kids to play, lanai ocean views, and access to the beach literally steps away. Overall, it is a nice clean condo that will exceed your expectations while on Maui. However, I do want to mention that this place is quite dated and needs some updates. The front door was easy to access with a new door keypad (which was nice), however there was no dead lock, so we were always worried the front door wasn't locked. The bedroom had no ceiling fan or light, but it had a light switch?.. It was always tricky to find the single lamp in the corner in the dark. The bathroom was actually pretty dirty and the toilet needs replaced (doesn't flush correctly). I ended up cleaning it and buying a nice floor mat (not provided), which helped. The towels were all mismatched (which is fine) and no beach towels were provided (We bought some and left them there :)) The kitchen was nice, and had everything we needed. However it was a collection of random mismatched kitchen items that mostly appeared to be from what others had left behind. There was literally a total of 5 forks, but 20+ spoons, and random plastic containers with missing lids for left overs. We ended up using our friends kitchen more often, just because they had nice new, quality kitchen items to cook with. All the windows need cleaning, and the sliding door needs replaced or fixed. The sliding screen was impossible to keep on the rails and had to be lifted to slide. This is a great little place and it has everything you need to get you by, just nothing fancy like many of the other updated units have to offer.

Best Reasonable Property in Kihei
Comfortable 1 bedroom first floor condo with a view across the road of the ocean. Owner was very responsive to our needs at all times. Nice pool on the property and BBQ grills available. Convenient location across the street from many nice beaches. Wonderful place to stay - thanks!

We love Kihei Kai Nani condos!
This is our second time staying at the Kihei Kai Nani condos, and we had a lovely stay. The only negative to this condo’s location (so close to the beach!) is that it is VERY loud every morning (starting at 7am) right outside the window with the lawn crew trimming the bushes (sometimes at the next property over, so they wouldn’t follow the “quiet” hours listed by KKN condos), and then sometimes during the night as well with loud trucks going by on the street. The other condo we had stayed in was further back from the road/beach so we never heard any traffic noise (but then it was another minute or so walk to the beach and we couldn’t see the beach from that one like we could here which was really nice). So it’s a toss up! We LOVED the bed, it was so comfortable and huge, and we had both adults, our 2 year old toddler and our 4 month old baby sleep together comfortably with room to spare. We also loved having a washer/dryer in the unit and laundry detergent, as well as a water purifier/pitcher for the fridge to have nice cold water to fill up our water bottles every morning before we left for the day. There were beach toys and boogie boards in the bedroom closet which our toddler loved. We went grocery shopping the first day and bought enough snacks and meals to last us the week and save lots of money as opposed to going out for every single thing. We loved sitting out on the lanai in the evenings looking out at the ocean, and being so close to the beach that we could walk there for a quick dip in the ocean before starting our adventures for the day! The host was wonderful and very easy to communicate with throughout our entire booking process and stay. We would recommend Kihei Kai Nani condos for anyone coming to Maui!

Beautiful ocean view across the street
The condo was perfect for our family of 3. This is our second time staying at the KKN, in a different condo. The pullout sofa was new and had a comfortable mattress for our son. The kitchen was fully equipped. We were able to cook quite a bit. It even has a BBQ utensil set that we used to BBQ chicken. The master bed was very comfortable as well with soft sheets. There are 4 beach chairs, 2 body boards, a few umbrellas, beach towels, an assortment of sandcastle toys, and snorkeling gear. The bathroom towels were soft and new. It was nice to have a washer and drier with laundry detergent provided. Rachel provided dish soap, dishwasher soap, and hand soap that was good for our 11 nights. She also provides a start up pack of toilet paper and paper towels. We loved sitting on the lanai and watching the ocean view. The condo is across the street on a busy road, but that did not bother us. The location is walking distance to everything.
We were able to walk to 3 different snorkeling sites. There is a delivery truck that makes its deliveries in the adjacent shopping center early in the morning, but this didn’t bother us since we are early risers. Rachel was very kind and quick to respond to any questions. The condo is well maintained and we would stay there Again in a heartbeat.

Good location and view of the ocean
The condo has everything that you will need from a well stocked kitchen to beach chairs. You can't beat the location with it's ocean view and directly across the street to Kamole 2. We would take the lawn chairs across the street every night to watch the spectacular sunsets. Was a bit loud in the morning with the garbage truck a few times a week, but took advantage and got up early to explore all the amazing beaches and hikes. You can't beat the location if you want to be near the restaurants and bars, or do as we did, and get a fabulous sandwich or salad at 808 Deli and eat on your own lani. Would rent this unit again in a heart beat!

Perfect location and well-equipped
We could not have asked for a better location. The unit had ocean views and was next to gift shops, cafes, and the Hawaiian Moons grocery store. Everything you would need to enjoy a beach vacation was available to use: towels, chairs, snorkel gear (although we brought our own). There was plenty of room for our family of 4; however I wished there had been 4 chairs at the dining table, instead of just 2. Overall, we'd definitely considered staying again. Rachel, the unit's representative, was so responsive and helpful throughout our stay and even before. We felt instantly welcomed as we arrived, with a personalized note and snacks that were waiting when we got to the unit.

Fantastic Stay!
We had a fantastic stay. The unit was super clean and up to date. Brand new TV in the Living room and now a TV in the bedroom. Great view of the beach from the patio. Easy walk across to the beach and a quick trip back if you forgot something. Unit was well equipped with everything you could possibly need in the unit and on the beach. Highly recommend it. Rachel was great and close by if you needed anything!

Wonderful wonderful
The location of this condo is fantastic. Ocean view with fantastic sunsets. The property itself is very comfortable with everything you could possibly need. The in-suite washer and dryer are certainly a bonus and thank you Rachel for the new televisions. Love the California king bed too! Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Rachel was so welcoming and informative. This was our first time in Hawaii And can’t wait to come back to this unit for twice as long next time.

Comfortable and clean! Convenient to beaches!
This is a great spot with all the small details considered. Beach chairs, nice beach towels and a fully equipped kitchen as well as a very comfortable bed. I would recommend Rachel’s place for a budget friendly, nice alternative to visiting south Maui’s beautiful beaches.
