"The room we were given was not even remotely like the photos on the Hotels website. We stayed on the ground floor, the bed was terrible, the spring mattress was completely broken, we couldn't rest. In the bathroom the water from the shower came down in drops there was no power socket to attach any type of accessory. The window of the house was equipped with a non-comprehensive curtain so from 6 in the morning a lot of light came in. There was no place to put your bags comfortably. ...

"Staff mostly spoke little or no English, this in the heart of Oxfordshire. Breakfast was very poor quality, cheapest items possible and poor presentation. 1 piece overcooked bacon, 1 pork sausage ok, scrambled egg ok, beans ok, horrible coffee and toast supplied warmed up rather actually toasted. Room was accessed from a staircase at the rear of the untidy former pub property which was mostly unconverted. The staircase was shared with a disabled chair lift making the space to carry up bags...

"Staff were lovely and very helpful. There was free parking on site, which was a bonus. Breakfast was very good and plentiful including, eggs however you like them, ham and cheese, yoghurt, fruit, cereal, toast and jam, croissants and pain au chocolate. Very nice. Lovely big breakfast room with a view over the garden."

"Loved that my room was in the main house. My room was small but it faced the garden where I could watch birds and squirls. Missed the hedgehogs. My bathroom was a few steps away from the room and it was good. The shower was pretty small. I got in but could not move around so I decided to wash off in sinks. The staff were wonderful to me. "This pub is a really well looked after and the rooms are super comfortable... lovely bed, large rooms... The breakfast is top quality and a great comfortable experience... The only things to note are, it is not as close to Henley as I thought, it was about 4-5 miles away and there is NO mobile reception in the pub or the rooms... if you need to make or receive any calls, you have to walk around the car park or the village for a reception...! Apart from that, I would definately go back and stay,...
