Spacious Condo Next to Lifts & Close to Shops/Dining! 2 Private Balconies

This spacious 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom condo sleeps 8 with a king bed, two queen beds, two twin day beds. You’re less than fifty yards from the Peru and Argentine ski lifts. It features scenic views from two private balconies. It also has an updated kitchen and a wood-burning fireplace in the living area.

As you enter this second floor walk-up you will find an entryway with mounted hooks for your convenience while coming and going throughout the day. The living area features modern furniture and a flat screen TV mounted above a wood-burning fireplace. Off of the living area is access to the main balcony where you can enjoy beautiful views of the courtyard on one side.

The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home and features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and custom cabinetry. The dining area comfortably seats six and there are three additional seats at the breakfast bar. Just down the hall you have access to private laundry and detergent is provided for your convenience.

The primary bedroom features a king-sized bed, a flat screen TV and access to its own private balcony. The en suite bathroom has double sinks with granite countertops and a glass-enclosed walked-in shower with tile surround. Enjoy the handheld and rainfall shower heads. The first guest bedroom offers a queen-sized bed, a twin-sized daybed and a flat screen TV. Extra sheets and blankets are in a closet. It also has its own private bathroom. The second guest bedroom has a queen-sized bed, a flat screen TV and a private bathroom that can also be used by guests. All bathrooms are stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries. The third guest bedroom is off the main living area and features a twin-sized day bed. It also has its own entrance to the main balcony.

Chateaux Dumont

Great unit 5 minute walk to lift. Easy in and out when skiing, to drop back in for lunch. Kitchen had all we needed to do our cooking. (except microwave/miniconvection oven didn't work or we couldn't figure out how to use it. Some instructions would be helpful) Unit was well appointed and very clean. Three bedrooms were great, each with full bathrooms. Very comfortable beds and bedding. Fourth 'bedroom' didn't have privacy due to windows directly into living area and only has a small wall heater which was inadequate to keep the room warm enough. No firewood was available for the fireplace, also. Would stay there again.

Awesome location!

This condos location really can’t get any better. It’s maybe a one minute walk to the lift. The condo itself is pretty nice and very spacious. Three full bathrooms is nice as well. The check in process however is best described as a scavenger hunt. You get texted instructions that are WAY to complicated and over worded with three different addresses and information in a non sequential order. You literally have to go to a strip center, find an office, go inside, find a lock box, enter a code, find your envelope, then find a gate to a parking lot that’s through a parking lot with no address. Combine all of that with it being in an unfamiliar location, dark outside and snowing. WAY over complicated!!! While it’s likely not the property managers fault, the condo’s address ( which they provide to you ) does take you to the condos gate. However, it’s a “owners only” gate. Once you’ve navigated around to the other side of the building by getting back on the highway you have literally traveled about 3 miles to get to the “guest” gate. You then can finally enter the condos parking lot then to park for this unit you literally park about 20ft from the gate you were not allowed to come through. It’s absolutely ridiculous and one million percent frustrating and unnecessary. Lastly, I would assume it was also the property manager but someone sent a repair man to our condo at 6pm for maintenance we didn’t request. That’s not something anyone is going to be interested in on their vacation.

Not bad, but needs some maintenance

Overall, you can not beat the location. Steps away from Peru lift. Clean and spaces were good. However, the kitchen needs some attention...pots and pans need to be replaced. TV's are old. The room off the living area is very cold as other reviewers have stated, and you need to be prepared for that. Would be nice to have additional blankets provided above what was already there. We had to add our own blankets and brought a space heater.

Beautiful Place to stay

WE love how close it is to the Bunny slopes. Our Granddaughters learned to ski this year. Very close to Peru lift. The view from the condo is beautiful.

A lovely weekend getaway

Every year my husband and I have a family mountain getaway with our respective sisters. This unit was more than spacious for the four of us and our stay was very comfortable. We had an issue with the TV in the primary bedroom but the management staff was responsive and helped take care of it. We personaly thought the beds were a bit soft, and the winter comforter on the bed was too heavy for this time of year. We called the management office and they were able to change out the comforters for lighter weight blankets. We thought the unit could use some light updates and we would have appreciated more hooks in the bathrooms; but other than that we had an enjoyable stay.

Nice condo

Overall this condo is in a wonderful location and is very spacious and clean. Each room having its own private bathroom was really nice. We had a blast-even saw a moose. However, on a note of transparency to renters the condo does have a lot of wear and tear in it. Mainly cosmetic things though.

Good for a ski trip

We enjoyed our stay here. The walk to the slopes was short and easy. The condo had plenty of room for our party of 8. The only problem was one of the shower knobs was difficult to use.

Nice and roomy condo

Chateau DuMont 2701

Great property, close to the lifts. I’ll never understand why no elevator. If you live there, no problem. But for a ski weekend, hauling luggage, gear, food up stairs is exhausting. Slopeside next door has elevators and not near the quality of DuMont.

Great stay!

We stayed for 10 days and were more than comfortable in this location-very central to Breck, Dillon, Frisco, Silverthorne, we took a couple of day trips further as well. The property was exactly as described and management was very responsive.

Lovely condo, great kitchen and access to summer activities

Lovely condo and wonderful for us "foodies". Kitchen was amazingly well-equipped. Easy access to strolls and hikes up trails/ski runs for hiking. Great for small family get-together.
