This 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo sleeps 4 with a king bed and a queen sleeper sofa. It features a private balcony with mountain views. Ideally located in River Run Village so you’re just steps away from shopping, restaurants and local festivities. Plus, you're a very short walk from the high-speed gondola. Buffalo Lodge offers shared amenities including 2 hot tubs.

The entryway has mounted hooks and a bench for your convenience while coming and going throughout the day. The living area features a flat screen TV next to a beautiful gas fireplace. The new queen-sized sleeper sofa offers additional sleeping accommodations. There are extra sheets and blankets in a closet. Just off the living area is access to the private balcony that offers mountain views.

The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home. The dining area features a wood table with traditional chairs and comfortably seats four. The full bathroom has double sinks and a shower/tub combination. It is stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries.

The bedroom features a king-sized bed and a flat screen TV. Windows line the north wall and offer mountain views.

Please note: To reserve this property, the reservation holder must be at least 24 years old at the time of booking.

Overall the stay was okay but in the future I will look for better accomodations elsewhere. The unit appeared moderately worn and the checkout work was tediuous. The price was high and not a good value.

The elevators don’t work which is a huge issue. The bldg isn’t taken care of. The management company says it’s the fault of the owners association, which frankly doesn’t mean much. Read about the years of complaints and you’ll see it’s a co aren’t issue, which means the fire department hasn’t truly co plied with elevator inspections. I’d shut the bldg down and disallow occupancy till they fix all the elevators. There are plenty of other problems with this bldg, but this was the most obvious required fix among any of them. I wouldn’t stay here again or in keystone either.

Walk to the gondola

Overall, a good stay. The place was very roomy, but I felt like there were some small issues that could be addressed:-There were no curtains in the bedroom (only blinds) and this was somewhat annoying because the parking lot is lit all night.-Kitchen items are limited. Among the items, some of the sparsest ones were the 5 spoons and 4 bowls. Also the pans were pretty beat up. -The appliances were dated.

The property was clean and pretty safe. There were several nice shops right on property but their hours were inconsistent and several were not yet open or don't open in the summer. There was a lot of construction at and around the resort which made it challenging to get around. The area has become very touristy from what it used to be which took away from the experience for us and the locals in general seemed unhappy and unfriendly. The resort didnt seem to hire any English speaking employees and must not care that the employees are smoking pot and working high around the guests. This was a huge problem for us because the employee break room was just below our room and because there is no AC in the rooms, you need to have the windows open. I also dont appreciate my children being around high or drunk people outsideof my control. I personally find it unprofessional, others may not however. Overall, we would not go back to the resort or the area but outside of these issues, we enjoyed our vacation and found some amazingly beautiful places to hike and scenic drive.

Wishful thinking...

My husband and I came up to the mountains this weekend for our birthdays and to enjoy the fall season. The condo itself was great - nice and roomy and clean. The lodge was a different story - when we got there, we found out that the elevator from the underground garage to the lodge was broken, so we had to grab a cart and wheel it up the ramp to outside, go around to the front of the lodge and wheel it up the handicap ramp. Huge inconvenience! When we were leaving for various activities, we had to use the stairs to get to the garage. That in itself, wasn't a big deal, but if we had been elderly or disabled, that would have been near to impossible. the lobby was clean, but the smell of cleaning solutions were over powering, so much so that I had to cover my nose and mouth just to breathe. There is a 10pm closure to the pool and hot tub, but apparently isn't enforced because there was a loud party right under our window until 1am one night. The condo faces the parking lot and highway, but can't really tell in pictures, and could hear road noise and people in the parking lot at all hours. Again, the condo itself was great, just wish it had been at the Red Hawk Lodge (much nicer and quieter, we were there a month before) than Buffalo Lodge. The property management group was great - easy to check in and out and very responsive. All that to say that we won't be back to this location.

Perfect location

This condo was the perfect little get away for the weekend with my husband! It was right next to all of the shops and restaurants, and right next to the lifts if you are staying in the winter. They even left a bottle of wine for us to celebrate our anniversary! :)

Short ski trip

Living space was spacious, a nice change from other places where the photos are misleading. Nice walk through the village to the gondola. Management was very responsive with TV issues and sent a repairman that night. No success there but a technician was sent the following day and got things working.

Fantastic location in the heart of River Run Village, but...

Thanks to the multiple informative emails and texts before arrival, the check in process was a breeze. The location is amazing, right in the heart of River Run Village and short walk to gondola, restaurants, grocery, apparel and all rental equipment. The condo is spacious enough for my family of 3, with a nice fireplace that keeps it warm. View is ok, partial mountain, but mostly parking lot. Having said that, once we checked in, we had NO sheets for our sofa pull out bed, and we found trash stuck in it when we opened it up. Called to have sheets brought up, at 6pm, and was told I could drive back over to Keystone to pick them up, or wait for several hours. Neither options were preferable considering the long day of traveling to get here. Day 2: Both elevators are broken so everyone is having to use the staircase. Not ideal after long days on the slopes up and down to 4th floor and wearing bulky/heavy outfits. Needless to say a disappointing start to this vacation. Day 3, Christmas Day, both our building/ room keys become disabled, for no known reason, at the same time. We have to drive into town to get them reloaded correctly. Ugh. But...It's been snowing every day, and it's beautiful here. Merry Christmas. Day 4, tried the sauna, the sauna doesn't work. All in all, we had a good stay, and we absolutely love the fun,, family atmosphere of River Run Village in Keystone, but difficult to recommend Buffalo Lodge with so many issues. Love the location and the condo, but doubtful we'll stay in this lodge again.

This the second time I stayed at this same unit and again it was all I expected, very clean, tv was a little confusing, comfortable with a lot of pillows, I do plan to come back and will tell all of friends know what a great place you have, even the ones that don’t ski

Amazing Getaway

This was such a great little get away - my husband and I chose to stay here for our wedding anniversary. We loved that there were little eateries right outside our building ... highly recommend the crapes! Keystone in general was such a nice little village. High recommend.

The condo was clean, had everything we needed. We only ate out once so the full kitchen was perfect for us. The bed was comfortable, we brought our own pillows so can't comment on pillows. The location was great, we went to ride our e-bikes and trails were awesome. The grounds at River Run are beautiful, loved the flowers! The garage was very dark, they definitely should add lights, heard others comment on that too. But had a great trip!

Excellent!

We stayed here for 2 nights. Easy check in, prompt responses to MINOR requests. Super clean, had everything we needed. We ziplined in Leadville, hiked sapphire point. Pool, 3 hot tubs all in order. Super cute little “village” with shops and restaurants in the middle of the resorts, pool tables, community gas grill (we didnt use). Playgrounds super close, yummy yogurt shop. Beds were totally fine for us, large bathroom, couch bed very comfy. Lots of board games to use. Key card entry, parking garage. We had an excellent stay and would return again for sure! THANK YOU!!!

Fantastic Summer Location

This was a great location for a week long stay in July. Lots of hiking trails nearby. Super close to Frisco-Silverthorne area for marina activities. Only 25 minutes from Breckinridge and 40 to Vail. It was clean. The evenings were always quiet. Extra amenities were very much appreciated!
