River Run Condo has Private Balcony w/ Mountain Views, Close to Shops/Dining!

This 1 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom condo sleeps 4 with a queen-sized bed and a queen Murphy bed. It features an updated kitchen and an extra half bath. Ideally located in River Run Village so you’re just steps away from shopping, restaurants and festivities. Plus, you're a short walk from the high-speed gondola.

The entryway has a mounted hooks and a bench for your convenience while coming and going throughout the day. The living area features a flat screen TV mounted above a beautiful gas fireplace. There's also a Murphy bed that can be pulled out at night for additional sleeping arrangements. Extra sheets and blankets are in a closet. The private balcony is just off the living area and offers scenic views.

The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware you need to make a meal away from home and features granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The dining area comfortably seats four with three additional seats at the breakfast bar. There is a half bathroom near the entryway and it has a pedestal sink, shower with sliding glass doors and its own entrance to the primary bath toilet area. Both bathrooms are stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries.

The primary bedroom features a queen-sized bed and a flat screen TV. The en suite bathroom has double sinks and a shower/tub combination with a door separating the toilet area for added privacy.

*Please note the Expedition Station HOA will begin charging $4 a day from May 1st-November 30th and $8 a day for parking starting December 1st through April 30th*

Please note: To reserve this property, the reservation holder must be at least 24 years old at the time of booking.

Nice place and location

Expedition Station is a short walk to the gondola and even shorter to the shops and restaurants. The small ice rink is right out the front door. Management is very nice and respond promptly to any needs or questions.

There was 5 small bath towels, no extras for going to the pool or hot tub and took over a day to get more towels. So overall not bad, but not a place to stay with lots of room and great service.

Great Location

The location, hot tub, and heated garage make this property hard to pass up. The actual unit is okay. All beds were horribly uncomfortable and it was very tiny. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed to cook multiple meals. The listing lied about 2 toilets, there is only ONE toilet. There are 2 showers though. We enjoyed a week here, but due to the lack of restful sleep, couldn’t have made it much longer. Highly recommend the location though.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is exactly what I hope to see for a summer visit to what is probably mostly known for a winter sports resort. The landscaping is beautiful and the summer garden boxes are stunning. The resort and village were uncrowded and had plenty of restaurants open to handle breakfast, lunch and dinner. The unit was fresh and clean with every amenity imaginable. The rental staff are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I was here for a business trip and I am already planning a return trip with my fly fishing gear.

Reviewer Comments: We liked the bldg and pool but the unit needed a screen in the bedroom which didn't get replaced while we were there.I also called to get a pitcher but they had none. They gave a number to call for help but I tried several times and housekeeping never picked up. I then called maintenance, they answered but that didn't turn out to help either. The couch was ok, bed was good but the wood furniture is old and very warn. We would definitely use Summit Country Mountain Retreats another time- just a different unit!

Stubbed Toes

After rereading the reviews i think this listing is accurate. My number one complaint is that this property should not be listed as accommodating 6 people. This is a very small space. There is no storage for luggage and furniture needs to be moved nightly to make room for sleep arrangements. I felt like every time i walked through the space i had to turn sideways, climb over something and often knocked something over. The beds were very uncomfortable. I would compare this stay to a holiday inn with a kitchen. The property management was great. Always answered calls and met our requests. The pool, hot tub and steam room were a great feature. The location was amazing. I would recommend this for a couple and it will be a totally different experience. Aside from that, it simply doesn’t work for a family comfortably.

Nice Property a bit Narrow

Very nice property however could have used a few extra feet of width in the living area, served our stay purpose just fine though as we were mainly on the slopes and in town.
