Condo in River Run Only a Short Walk to Gondola, Shops and Dining!

This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom corner unit condo sleeps 6 with one king bed, one queen bed and one sleeper sofa. It features beautiful treed views and the corner unit location ensures a quiet stay. Ideally located in River Run Village so you’re just steps away from shopping, restaurants and local festivities. Plus, guests can walk to the high-speed gondola. Red Hawk Lodge offers shared amenities including an outdoor pool and two hot tubs.

The entryway has mounted hooks and a bench for your convenience while coming and going throughout the day. The living area is warm and inviting and features a flat screen TV mounted above a beautiful gas fireplace and a queen-sized sleeper sofa. Additional linens are in a closet. The private balcony is just off the living area and offers treed views.

The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home and the dining area comfortably seats four. The first of two full bathrooms is just off of the living area and has a pedestal sink and shower/tub combination. All bathrooms are stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries.

The primary suite features a king-sized bed on our Ivory White Bedding program, a mounted flat screen TV and beautiful views from two windows. The en suite bathroom has double sinks and a door separates the shower/tub combination and toilet area for added privacy. The guest bedroom has a queen-sized bed on our Ivory White Bedding program and a mounted flat screen TV. Offering added convenience, both beds have been elevated to allow for extra storage.

Please note: To reserve this property, the reservation holder must be at least 24 years old at the time of booking.

(For additional sleeping options, air mattresses are available upon request for a small fee.)

Spacious condo in quiet section of complex with easy parking proximity

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean and their was easy access to underground parking elevator, ski lockers, lifts and the square.

Great Location

Plenty of room for my family of 5 with 3 teenagers. Included all of the necessary amenities. Easy walk to the gondola. It was nice to have the parking garage so vehicles are out of the weather.

Amazing location

Stayed here for a few days with some friends for a ski trip and this place was amazing! The location was maybe a 2 minute walk to the main gondola and village. Space was clean and had the essentials.

short and sweet stay

We stayed at River Run condo for two days, when skiing at Keystone. The property has great location, 3 minute walking from gondola. Condo is clean and spacious, kitchen is well stocked. There are covered parking garage in the basement, ski lockers, game area in the lobby, and laundry facilities on all floors. Would recommend for family vacation at Keystone resort.

Nice but needs a little touch

This is as a nice place albeit quite dated. Nothing I’m going to mention was terrible. I own several short term rentals and I would like this information from some who stayed there. Some of the window treatments are missing their decorative covers (standing free in the corners of rooms). This could potentially be a hazard or damage if abused by the wrong guest. Some of the burners on the stove were non functional. The thermostat didn’t seem to work for all the rooms. Second bedroom was hotter than the other spaces. On the other side: nicely supplied kitchen. Plenty of blankets provided. Nice guest book with lots of information. Helpful what to expect videos. Thanks for the quick stay and the nice location for a couple days of keystone skiing.

Close to gondola, clean, provides all basic necessities

This was a good location and priced well for what it offers. It has all the basic needs, comfortable beds. There could be some updates to make it nicer (especially if you like to cook) and more comfortable, but everything works as expected.

Walk to gondola lift

Overall good value and great access. Handy parking under property, walk to gondola lift, the furniture is a little dated and the space is a little cramped for 5. Could use some more hooks to hang clothes etc. in bathroom and bedroom, maybe loose the game cabinet in living area and rethink the dining table to give more open area.

Relaxing Time

Beautiful, restful location. Perfect for my two sisters and I (in our 60s and 70s) to explore the area, enjoy the restaurants, ride the ski lift, and come back to a lovely condo each evening to laugh and watch the Big Dipper drift across the sky.

Perfect for a long ski weekend

The location was perfect. A very short walk to the Gondola/base area of Keystone. Clean, everything was functional, and spacious enough for 4 people. Appreciated the ski lockers and stocked kitchen. The only downsides I could find were the elevators are very slow, and the garage is pretty narrow. Was a tight fit for a large vehicle.

COVID changes

The property was fantastic. I’ve stayed in the red hawk building multiple times a year for almost a decade. I wasn’t aware until arriving that the pool and hot tub had to be reserved now and were then closed Tuesday and Wednesday. The proximity to the gondola and amenities the building offers are why we always stay there so this was very disappointing. It should be made more clear prior to booking so people have a chance to reserve them before they close at 7:45 PM.

Great location across from gondola. Communication could have been better regarding restrictions affecting amenities. Pool and hot tub were open bit reservations needed to be made for them. Never did our host send information regarding needing reservations for this. We had to find out after we arrived and unfortunately there were no reservations to be had for the two nights we were there. Considering the continued need for social distancing and capacity restrictions, the property manager should include this information in the emailed welcome packet.

December 2020 @ Red Hawk

We stayed during an increased spike in COVID cases and couldn't of been more impressed with the care and cleanliness of the condo. The check-in was seamless and they even let us check-in early without an additional charge. The location is GREAT. You are steps from the Keystone Village just below River Run trail that ends at the high-speed quad/gondola that brings you back to the top of the mountain. The Keystone village is accessible and easy to navigate; it has delicious food for breakfast, lunch and dinner -- and dessert too! We ate at Kickapoo Tavern, The Crepe Place, Luigi's Pastahouse and Montezuma Roadhouse... just to name a few. They also have a local grocery store if you'd like to make food at the condo (which has a full kitchen). We came during a severe spike in COVID and had to make reservations for the pool/hot tub. We were impressed by the care and cleanliness of the pool and hot tub AND the simple fact it wasn't just closed. As anyone who ski's/snowboards.... a hot tub after a day on the mountain is a fantastic way to end the day. We reserved a time @ 6pm and had the hot tub and pool ALL to ourselves for the whole hour. It felt very clean and very safe. The condo itself had everything you'd want. Two bedrooms, both with king beds and their own separate full bathrooms. Full kitchen with a working fireplace and a balcony to the outside and a descent view of the surrounding area. 5 star recommendation. We had a great time!

Nice condo, close to the slopes and gondola

Nice, cozy condo. Walking distance from the gondola and slopes. River run village is close by. Building is little old and the condo doesn’t get much sun during the winter. But we go to Keystone to be outside most of the time, so those things don’t bother us much.

Loved the Lodge but disappointed....

Very disappointed that they didn’t mention anywhere that the town is totally and completely closed. Then we were like “well at least we have the hot tub”. The welcome packed and online it says they close at 10pm. Get down there at 9pm and it a closed with a note saying “due to Covid hours are 10am to 6pm”. We wish there was better communication, it was not the vacation we expected.
