Sago Palm at The Truman Annex in Key West

The Presidents Walk and Southard Court community is located in the Truman Annex Complex which is located 2 blocks from Duval Street and all of the Old Town Key West attractions. The properties are also located less than a half mile from one of the best beaches on the island. The Presidents Walk properties are two level townhouses which have private courtyards on the first level and balconies on the second level. Outdoor Grill. Each bedroom has one queen size bed. All properties are outfitted with washer/dryer, pots and pans, towels and linens, have central air conditioning, off street parking and pool access.

Great unit in Truman Annex

The property was as described and noted in many of the reviews I read - Quiet, very clean, comfortable but a litte outdated. We enjoyed the convenience of the Southard pool. We were able to walk to Ft. Zachary Beach, Margaritaville, and some decent stores. We grilled burgers twice and the second time ran out of propane and had to finish in the microwave. The second tank was also empty. It would h,ave been nice to have some throws in the living room for the evenings. Appreciated the cleanliness of the place - that's always a plus for me,

Sago Palm Dec '23

Sago is located in Truman Annex, which is an excellent location to the action on Duval St. Neighbors are great, pool good, and decorated nicely for Christmas. The unit was clean and ready for us. Compass Reality was on top of the entire stay. The unit however is in desperate need of a make-over. I don't believe much has been changed since it was built. Examples: Microwave works great, however no turntable. This appliance is well over 30 years old. Kitchen cabinets should be replaced, as well as countertops. Both bathrooms while functional, are in need of an update. One of the faucets (original to the unit I'd bet) is very difficult to even turn on and off. Lighting in the bathrooms is poor. The 32" TV's are way too small, especially in the family room. The parking space is a plus. Patio and grill are nice as well. With a makeover this would make a good stay, a GREAT one.

Property was nice and clean. Location was perfect. Wish the table lamp in our room had been repaired so we didn’t have to plug it in to get light since the switch on the lamp was broken. Enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location, Nice little getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. The location was perfect, could not be beat! There were a few things however that were a little concerning .Both beds could definitely use a new mattress, the kitchen sink was leaking and water was building up under the sink. I spoke to someone in management about it they informed me that they knew about it last week and we’re waiting to fix it. If this were my home I am not so sure I would want this management company managing it , A lot of damage can happen with water in a weeks time. We also had tiny little bugs all over the Kitchen. I informed management of this also And they seem to take it very lightly . I am not talking a few bugs I am talking many little bugs. In the spare bedroom in the closet it had hardly enough room to even hang my clothes, there was a huge ladder , two vacuum cleaners in there and an organ of all things! I just think they could’ve found a better space for these items! Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Amazing Experience

We've been to Key West several times, but this was our first time renting this property. The process couldn't have been easier, and the condo itself was fantastic. The condo was clean, well-equipped, and all furnishings were comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone traveling to Key West.

Great location

Located in nice, quiet area. Close to Duval St, Mallory Square, Most Southern Point. Only used car once during the week we were here and that was to go to an eating establishment off Key West. Everything you need is nearby.

Amazing trip

It was a wonderful vacation. The condo was great just had a issue with the washing machine but we were able to use another one in another condo next to us . We loved the Truman Annex area. It was so easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. When we come back we will be definitely be staying there again.

Key West Truman Annex

The Truman Annex was an amazing location for visiting Key West. Our condo was just a few blocks from Duval and you could walk almost everywhere you wanted to go. Our condo at Truman was fantastic. It was very comfortable and was supplied with any kitchen appliance or dishes you would every want. We were very happy with our stay at Truman Annex and would highly recommend it.
