THE PROPERTY: Location, location, location, is what this chic condominium is all about! From here you can walk 1 block to the many attractions of Duval Street, including restaurants, cafes, bars, and shops. Or you can bike or drive about one mile to Higgs Beach and relax in the sunshine. This quiet residential oasis is in the middle of everything Key West. Vacationing in this gated community, surrounded by lush foliage, will give you a taste of what it might be like to live here.

Begin your stay with coffee or tea on your shared, covered front porch. Take a dip in the community's cocktail pool or have lunch in the garden patio area before heading out to sight-see. The home’s first floor includes a living room, TV, ceiling fan, powder room, dining area and kitchen, where you can prepare a quick meal or snack. This bright and sunny area was completely refurbished with gorgeous furniture, a brand-new kitchen with white cabinets, counters, and stainless steel appliances.

The redesigned, stylish bedroom with nightstands, bedside lamps, and updated ensuite bath with walk-in shower are located on the second floor. The spacious King bed, dreamy linens, and ceiling fan make for easy sleeping. Hardwood, tile floors and bedroom area rug help keep this home clean and comfortable. A shared, coin-operated washer and dryer are located on the grounds of the property. If you are ready to explore Duval Street, walk to dinner at a fabulous restaurant and relax in the privacy of your gated condominium, then La Maisonnette is the vacation spot for you!

BED CONFIGURATION: The second-floor bedroom has a King bed, TV, ceiling fan and ensuite bath with glass walk-in shower. There is a queen size sleeper sofa on the first floor.

OUTDOOR AMENITIES: Shared cocktail pool with water feature. The pool is heated seasonally (November through April). Several outdoor dining areas, lush gardens and a shared grill are available for your enjoyment.

PARKING: No designated parking. On-street parking in the neighborhood may be available.

LOCATION: Old Town, 1 block from Duval Street and just off Truman Avenue. You can easily walk to many restaurants, bars, and shops from La Maisonnette. The Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum is also nearby.

PETS: One (1) dog allowed, up to 25 lbs, for an additional fee and completion of Pet Information addendum. Must be 1 year of age or older. Must be spayed/neutered. All vaccinations must be up to date. Please be advised some breeds are not permitted. Sorry, cats are not allowed.

SMOKING: This is a non-smoking home and property.

Overall pleased, but the pool smaller than it appears in the pictures and other quests were smoking pot outside so we had to take that in.

Gorgeous oasis stay!

The Maisonnette was lovely. It felt very modern, clean and maybe newly renovated. It was very clean, the kitchen was large and very well appointed with anything you'd need including a few little extras like dishwashing and laundry detergent pods. We took a short walk to Fausto's grocery for a few things which was convenient.We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the grounds and garden areas. The garden courtyard was meticulously maintained. There were a few little nooks to sit outside and enjoy the warm breeze.I was surprised at how small the little pool was. By the pictures online I was expecting a full size pool. Nonetheless it was quaint and beautiful, just like an oasis. We had it to ourselves one day otherwise it might quickly feel crowded with only a few chairs. HKWVR was so friendly when we arrived at the office and were easy to communicate with during the stay! They scheduled bikes to be delivered(for a small fee) and picked up again when we left. Very good company to deal with and I highly recommend them based on our experience. We had no trouble with the rental, neighbors or experience at all. It was all just an easy, relaxing vacation. I would not hesitate to use them again! The neighborhood is on the south side of Duval closer to Southernmost Point, so it's a little walk/ride to Mallory Square on the other end. I recommend Blue Heaven & Little Pearl restaurants nearby. I highly recommend this location for a couple wanting a quiet getaway.

Perfect location in Key West

Had a great 4 night stay. The place is clean and crisp from the moment you walk in. Plenty of extra towels and TP. The location is a half block off Duval which is perfect but just far enough out of the traffic. Suggest renting bikes. The host can recommend a great company. Communication was excellent during the entire process.

Little oasis

This was the best accommodations. Immaculate and updated. Had everything that we needed. The small pool was a great touch when you wanted to relax in a quiet setting. The management company was very easy to work with and helpful. Well appointed to Duval street- all the action and to golf cart rentals (which I highly recommend). We will definitely be staying here again when we come back to key west!

10th Anniversary

This is a very beautiful property it is exactly as pictured. The living room and kitchen area being open for conversation, the furnishings so beautiful and comfortable. Having the two bathrooms is a bonus. The location was spectacular and just with scooter rental steps away and the Cuban coffee shop on the other corner we highly recommend. It couldn’t have been a better weeks stay. Love, love , love this property

Fantastic! Would stay again!

Check in was quick and easy and they even let us in a little early! Location was easy walking distance from all the places you'll want to go. Very clean. Loved the fact that it's in a little gated area. Very private and quiet.

AMAZING Service!

This was not my first VRBO booking, but it stands out as the best service to date! Can not say enough good things about the management company and their communications & help through the whole process. The property was BEAUTIFUL! We really relaxed and easily walked to everything in the Keys. Thank-you for the dinner recommendations. Lovely spot for our anniversary dinner!

Fantastic Location

We recently stayed at this property over New Years. The location was amazing just 1/2 block off of Duval and within walking distance of everything. There were 2 bike/scooter rental places with literally steps of the property should you desire. The property was exactly as depicted in pictures. It was a beautifully decorated quiet retreat. The outside grounds are nothing short of spectacular. This added to our wonderful experience. Will definitely stay here again. Cannot recommend highly enough.

charming condo almost perfect

Well furnished very clean condo just off Duval within small gated community. Lush landscaping adorable courtyard for mornings and evenings. Parking is quite an issue but that’s par for the course for the area. If you’re checking in late it can be frustrating as you will not find any parking in the evening and unloading for a family even a couple minutes causes a backup on the street and angry neighbors trying to get by. Condo was furnished very nicely but keeping it cool was a bit of an issue. The bedroom door squeels like a parrot when you open it (pocket door) and you have to keep it closed for the room to stay a livable temperature. Every time we opened it we took a chance on waking the baby just to use restroom at night. The AC and door need addressing and it would be perfect!

Perfect mix of relaxation and fun!

The property is absolutely beautiful. The property manager thought of everything when they designed the space. It was truly a home wash from home. The well kept courtyard and dip pool are perfect when you want to break away from Duval Street. There are a ton of bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance. We also rented a golf cart which allowed us to cover more ground in our five day stay.

Loved the location and the people at the rental office.

Le Maisonette is a beautiful and comfortable unit in a gorgeous little condo community. The courtyard is so inviting and relaxing that its hard to leave it on a breezy day. You're in your own little oasis. The only downside of the unit was that it offers no place to hang wet/damp items like towels and bathing suits. This is going to cause damage to the property/furnture in time. It is forbidding to leave wet items on the porch. There is only 1 bath size towel bar in the bathroom, but the unit sleeps up to 4 people. There needs to be designated hooks or retractable line so bath and face towels, beach towels, and bathing suites can all dry out without using furniture. To the owner-May I suggest using the underutilized dormer area. The tiny pool in the courtyard is actually a jacuzzi that no longer works, too bad, but it was still nice taking a little dip in the evening before the sun went down as no one is permitted in the pool after sun down. 🤷🏼‍♀️ The property management, who lives on site, are strict about their rules, including quiet time. Do not go here it you plan to party loudly in the evening. There is 1 coin-operated washer and dryer for all the units (10-12?) and le Maisonette provided a few Tide pods. You’ll need $3 in quarters to wash and dry one load. The property managers were able to provide the change for dollars. You see the husband and wife team out most nights sitting under the fairy lights chatting. She’s the landscaping designer and an excellent one at that. You cannot beat the location either. We walked everywhere. You can rent golf carts, but there's no place to park them. Bikes are an excellent option. There is also the free Duvall loop which we found dependable the one time we tried to use it. And there are 2 bus lines that run East-West on the North and South sides of the island. We had no use for them. We preferred to walk as it was March and perfect weather with beautiful breezes. We liked to see the properties so we'd always use a different path to see new houses or businesses.. It's easy to do since the town is a grid. This unit is only 2 blocks from Hemingway’s House, prime real estate. Don't miss happy hour at the Old Towne Tavern and Beer Garden, only 1.5 blocks away. It had the longest happy hour with 1/2 price pub food too that was delicious! Best tuna poke I had on the Island with homemade pita chips and greens. I'm still wishing I could get some.
