LA CASA CUBANA @ Cuban Club Suites

Sitting on the famous Duval Street, this spacious one-bedroom property is so relaxing and beautiful that you will never want to leave! The breezy private balcony is a great place to sit and soak up the rising sun as Duval Street buzzes with morning activity. The loft bedroom upstairs features two comfortable queen beds, a 32" flat-screen TV, two large closets, and a shared nightstand with a reading lamp. The sizable living room is adorned with Cuban art in recognition that the property was built in 1917 as a “club” for Cuban cigar makers. The queen sleeper sofa comfortably accommodates two people, allowing La Casa Cubana to sleep 6 people while still remaining competitively priced. The kitchen features a full-sized refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, toaster, microwave, and coffee maker to do all or none of the cooking while enjoying the island life.

You’ll want to take pictures at the Southernmost Point in the continental United States (only 3.5 blocks away), and fulfill all of your shopping desires at the dozens, if not hundreds, of shops and stores distributed along Duval and the adjoining streets. One block away is Banana Cafe, a fantastic French restaurant for breakfast with crepes, baguettes, and croissants. The sandy shores of South Beach are just 3 blocks away, with the Southernmost Cafe right there for lunch. The best sushi in town is served at Origami, also located one block away. It’s all there for you, so come and enjoy!

Overall - this house was a pleasant surprise - better than we expected. I think the pictures don’t do justice to it. The location is just fantastic - right on Duvall street - this alone made it worthwhile. Couple of minor things for the owner/manger to fix - the TVs are way too small (32”) for the size of the house and this day/age, and we could do with more dishes and utensils in the kitchen. And the door at the bottom of the stairs needs fixing right away - it makes a loud noise every time it closes - very disturbing late night/ early morning

Great location and plenty of space to stretch out!

This area of Duval St was perfect. It was only a few minutes walk to the beach and pool. The location was also a quieter spot on Duval; about a 15 minute walk to where all the louder bars and restaurants are located. So, when we were done with the action it was nice to retreat to this more chill spot and relax.

Best stay on Duval street in Key West.

I've stayed in Key West many times and this was the best place. Right in the middle of the action, close to everything, and there is a Circle K right in front where you can get all of your groceries and liquor and not have to drag groceries around to stock up the place.

Girls' Trip

Property was perfect for our girls trip - 6 high school friends, now in our 50's. Right on Duval street and within walking distance of food, shopping, entertainment, etc. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

A on location and amenities

My family stayed here over New Years. The location is great - a small beach a few blocks in one direction, all that Duval has to offer going the other direction. We didn’t have a car, but there was parking available, if needed. Uber was readily available. The unit was attractive and clean and had everything we needed, including beach towels (nice bonus). We used the sofa bed, and it was okay for 5 nights, but don’t expect a luxury nights sleep. It also creaked every time either of us rolled over. The only negative is the noise, which is not to be made light of. Both outside doors and the interior doors of adjacent units slammed and/or creaked All The Time. It was like wake up calls in the middle of the night. Also, the garbage truck stops right outside the unit every other day or so, which was impossible to sleep through. I had a sleep mask, but not ear plugs for this stay. I highly suggest both to get a good night sleep at this otherwise fabulous unit.

The next level, literally!

First of all, where vacation accommodations are concerned, this place is HUGE. And with one and half baths, it's as close to being at home as I've come outside of some of the super suites in major hotels (not including my beloved bidet lol).This is a second level unit and the beds and full bathroom are on the upper upper level of the space. It was clean and well outfitted and there were plenty of towels (we did not use the sofa sleeper on the main floor).It is perfectly located on the main thoroughfare and while you can hear the entry door in the corridor being closed during the day, it is otherwise peaceful. There was a rank smell emanating from the kitchen sink but I squirted a few drops of dish detergent down the drain and let the water run for a bit and that effectively killed it.As this was my first time to Key West, I had no idea what to expect, but practically the entire Old Town area was within walking distance. In fact, the only time we took a ride anywhere (we're physically active 50 somethings) was on the Trolley Tour. Duval Street is literally 1.25 miles long so walking up and down it was effortless.Overall, I'd highly recommend this unit, especially for couples who do not want to be cramped in a shoe box. Of course that comes at a cost but I'm at a point in my life where space and being comfortable matters more than being frugal and am willing to pay extra for it. If you can appreciate that, hit the Reserve Now button before somebody does!

Amazing stay

Went down to Key West for a few nights with my parents and had a great time. We checked in late on Tuesday and it was a super easy process. We picked up a welcome packet a few blocks from the rental with the code to get into the building and room. The rental was clean and out of every option we came across it was by far the best bang for your buck. The location on duval street was right in the middle of the action. We didnt hear too much noise from outside, but did hear a lot of slamming doors and some banging around from other rooms in the building. Overall a great stay!

Great location

The condo itself and the location were great. You are extremely close to so many different things. Beaches, bars, restaurants and shopping were all walkable. Having a pool only a block away was nice also. The only negatives were the offsite check in, you could hear the neighbors doors shut every time they closed them and as soon as the sun would rise it became very bright in the condo. They could use a few more curtains. Other than that I would definitely recommend the property.

What a great location. Condo was clean, bright and spacious. Right on Duval so we were able to walk to shops, restaurants, the beach, grocery store. Everywhere we wanted to go.

Prime Spot

This was an amazing rental! I stayed here with a group of four for a bachelor party and it couldn’t have been better. Clean, relaxing and enjoyable unit with easy access to all the action. Quiet mornings so you’re not woken up early after a long night! 10/10 would recommend! Also super friendly staff to check in and call if you have any questions!

Bachelorette Weekend

Great location and easy to walk downtown to get a bite to eat or hit the bars. AC was strong and an absolute godsend the weekend we were in town.. also enough space to easily accommodate 5 messy girls with tons of clothes, shoes and decor. Overall, was very pleased with our stay!
