A Latitude Adjustment at the Truman Annex in Key West

This Foundry townhouse is a Bostonian style 3 level home located in Old Town Key West. This home has been recently renovated to accommodate an individual couple, family, or vacationing couples that each desires the privacy of their own bedroom suite with full, private baths. This two bedroom, two and one half unit will comfortably sleep up to six is located in the beautiful community of Truman Annex. This gated community offers the security and tranquility that you would expect on a vacation, yet you are just steps from exploring all that Key West has to offer. Location, location, will be neighbors with the Harry Truman Little White House where President Truman spent many summer days vacationing during his Presidency. The famous Duval Street scene and surrounding blocks encompassing hundreds of restaurants/pubs/shops are only minutes away by foot. Mallory Square, with its nightly entertainment and picturesque sunsets which make Key West a popular destination are just three blocks away. Swimming, snorkeling, parasailing, fishing, and the heated pool are nearby for your enjoyment. Fort Zachary Taylor State Park and one of the best beaches in Key West are just 1/4 mile away. Bicycle and golf cart rentals are aplenty as there is no need for a car. If driving down the scenic Florida keys and keeping the vehicle for your stay, you have the luxury of a reserved, private parking space during your stay. The first floor features a comfortable living room with 60 inch HDTV, sleeper sofa,and half bath. The impeccably appointed kitchen has all housewares items such as pots, pans, and towels. Cable service and high speed wireless internet are available on each floor. The second floor Master Suite has king sized bed, 40 inch HDTV, ensuite bath and french doors that open to private balcony overlooking the tropical landscaping on Front Street. The hallway has a washer/dryer. The third floor suite features two twin beds which can be converted to king size bed depending on your needs. Private ensuite bath and large windows overlooking Front Street as well as a 32 inch HDTV complete this relaxing room. Whether this is your first visit to Key West, or returning for your 'Latitude Adjustment', this newly renovated home at The Foundry in Truman Annex is just what the doctor ordered!

The road comes to an abrupt stop, the rest of it was destroyed in a hurricane years ago but you can park there and walk out. The beach is secluded and quiet, except when the Navy is holding flight practices. The planes are so close, you can see the pilots!

Great House / Great Location

This house is very comfortable and perfectly located in the beautiful Truman Annex. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The linens and towels are very good quality. The only shortcoming is that there are no baking pans but that was remedied with a trip to Fausto's Food Palace for disposables.

Perfect location in Key West

We had a fabulous stay at this property. You can’t beat the location of the Truman Annex. Property was close to all the shops in Mallory Square and we watched the gorgeous sunset just about every night from the pier which was a quick 5 minute walk. The unit was spotless and check in and out was a breeze. We will definitely be back!

Key West condo

Our stay was pleasant. The condo has been used hard. There was a door knob missing on the laundry room, no baking pans or oven mittens and limited washcloths. The condo was clean and organized and a good space for a nice visit in Key West. The location is fabulous.

Perfect location

Lattitude Adjustment was exactly what we were looking for during our trip to Key West! It is in the perfect location to walk or bike to all the fun places to see! The condo was clean and had everything we needed during our stay. The ladies at Compass Realty were easy to communicate with and made check in/ out a breeze. We will be staying here again!

Very nice house. Very close to the beach as well as down town Key West. Neighborhood is beautiful. The house had everything we needed upon arrival.

Magical Key West Stay

I highly recommend staying at the Truman Anmex townhouses. Everything about our stay was perfect. The condo was very clean. We had all the amenities that we needed. There were plenty of pillows, towels, and blankets. Maybe pack an extra blanket because that air conditioner was COLD. Compass Management was extremely easy to work with. It was a dream vacation!

Love Truman Annex

The locations was excellent. The condo was just what we expected as pictured on the website. We certainly enjoyed our vacation. There are a couple of suggestions for you all. The management of the property did not contact me with information about how to check in and where. I called them in the week prior to our departure. I was told what to do and fortunately wrote it all down. I was also told that on the Saturday before my arrival I would receive an email repeating all the necessary information. I did not. When I arrived at the entrance , the security guard was extremely helpful. He even walked to the office, helped me open the key box, walked to the condo, showed me where to park, and helped me unload. The condo itself is lovely. However the televisions in both of the bedrooms did not work properly. The master bedroom on got one channel. Some connection is missing for both of them. A laminated instruction sheet would have been most helpful. The television in the living room needs adjusting so that people don't look four feet wide and five feet tall. Hope these minor suggestions help. We look forward to renting the same condo in the near future.

Fantastic location! Beautiful accomodations.

Latitude Adjustment was a fabulous family vacation getaway to Key West. The convenient location was perfect for a walk to the beach or a walk to Duval Street. Truman Annex was truly a secret hideaway that we coveted and provided the perfect balance of relaxation and activity for us all.

gorgeous and well protected

We loved this location! You can walk to almost everything!If you want a sandy beach it's a short drive away. The beaches we could walk to were rocky. This home is clean and well kept. It would have been nice to have a cooler available and beach chairs ...we flew in so we were not able to pack these items. Just for a heads up!

Very convenient location and nice accommodations

We really enjoyed our stay. There were two couples and it was very comfortable. Stairs are a challenge when hauling up luggage but probably no different than any other condo. We would stay there again. Rental representative was very helpful and courteous. It is within walking distance of everything you want and places to rent transportation. We had a great time!
