This stylish 2-bedroom, 1.5 bath half duplex is just short walk to local restaurants, laid-back bars, waterfront parks, and the exclusive Cabana Club. relax under the Tiki Hut with canal views, grill and dine outdoors, or bring your boat- there is a 30' dock and easy ocean access ready for your stay.

The Space:

Inside, you'll find two cozy bedrooms; a king-size master with a jack-n-jill bathroom, and a queen guest room for your best friend, partner or travel companion. The open-concept kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, a breakfast bar for enjoying morning coffee or mimosas, and a dining area that comfortably seats four. The new quartz countertops add a touch of luxury to this kitchen. Relax in the cozy living room, which features a brand-new sofa and an extra half-bath perfect for hosting friends

Good Location and Amenities, Some Room for Improvement

We recently stayed at this property and overall had a decent experience. The location is fantastic—close to everything—and the place was very clean, which we appreciated. One of the highlights was the Cabana Club, located right across the street. It was a great amenity and added a lot of value to our stay.The property has cable, which was a nice surprise since many rentals we've stayed at don't offer it. However, there are only TVs in the queen bedroom and the living room, which might be a downside for some guests. The beds weren’t the most comfortable, and the couches could definitely use an update—they weren’t very comfortable to sit on for long periods. Additionally, the walls are thin—you can hear neighbors opening and closing cabinets, flushing toilets, or moving furniture.The backyard situation was a bit disappointing. The listing photos made it seem more private than it actually is. There’s no real separation from the neighbors on the right side, so when they were outside, it felt like we were sharing a yard. Fortunately, the neighbors on the left were blocked by trees and bushes, offering more privacy.Another issue we had was with the dishwasher. It didn’t work during our stay. While maintenance was sent out, it wasn’t fixed, and we never received any follow-up after the visit, which was frustrating.In the end, the great location, water view, and cleanliness made it a solid stay.

Key Colony is a great place to stay and the Shore Thing property was great. Access to the Cabana Club was perfect! The property was very clean and nice. Beds were comfortable. Check-in was easy! I would only suggest an upgrade to the couch in the living area. Very uncomfortable. Other than that it was great! Thank you!!

Shore thing house jan 2025

We enjoyed our stay at shore thing house, really nice view at the back yard, enjoyed watching the pelicans. The house was equipped. With all needed to make meals and be comfortable. Located so close to everything, really nice to be able to walk to the beach and restaurants. We hope to return.

Before the holidays get away

The property is in a great location relative to the cabana club and restaurants. 4th is quiet and doesn’t get a lot of traffic. The condo was great with a very nice outside space. Everything was cleaned very well. The kitchen is well stocked and a grill is an added bonus. We hope to be back soon

Awesome location / Cozy place

We stayed at shore thing for our first lobster mini season 2024. The location is perfectly situated on one of the first canals for Key Colony. Excellent proximity to the Cabana Club for swimming in the refreshing pool. dockage was perfect for our 25' bay boat with power and water for charging and cleaning. The backyard is a great little place to hang out under the tiki hut as well. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was perfect for preparing meals for a family of 4.

Beautiful Breezy hideaway

Beautiful little house that had everything we needed. Great place for our boat, on a canal, with easy access to the atlantic and gulf. We could fish in the canal, a great tiki hut with table and chairs and grill. We sat at this almost every night and had a private dinner on the water.

Beautifully decorated cottage with 2 bedrooms &1 & 1/2 bath with great dock for boat. On a deep salt water canal leading out to the Atlantic Ocean. Great kitchen, dining room, and huge den. Outside patio leading to a tiki hut with table & chairs on the water. BBQ grill, fish cleaning table ( on dock) .ENJOY

Perfect location

House was great. Perfect location and nice layout, kitchen, and living area. We especially enjoyed the tiki hut out back. Only negative is the master bedroom didn’t have much closet or dresser space.

Perfect!

This is our third time to stay in Key Colony, the first at this property...and it's our favorite! Love this side of Key Colony, close to Cabana Club. Tiki hut was a great place to relax. Also loved the friendly manatee who visited us right off the dock. We travel with our furbaby, and we especially love properties that don't have a dog smell..and this one didn't. Yay!

Beautiful fishing getaway

Property was beautiful with plenty of room both inside and out! Boat docking right outside with wide channel and 4 minutes, by boat, to Atlantic! Marina and ramp great service! Hope to see you again soon!
