Welcome to Southern Comfort (SC1) in Key Colony Beach! Boating enthusiasts will delight in our convenient of 37.5 ft. dockage easy access to both Atlantic Ocean and The Gulf. 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms accommodate up to 5 guests, making it ideal for small family or two couples. Fully equipped kitchen to make your getaway feel like your own comfort home. Each bedrooms are on the opposite side for privacy. We have king size bed in the master bedroom. One queen bed and one twin bed in guest bedroom. Washer & dryer are outside by screened in porch area.

Check-in on Saturday ONLY and no earlier than 4 PM. Check-out on Saturday ONLY before 10 AM. Rental 7 nights minimum. Only One Boat Trailer allowed to park inside our property.

Excellent Location

Our stay here was wonderful! The outside area was beautiful. We saw stingrays, manatee and even a shark in the canal. There were shady areas to enjoy even on the sunniest of days. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, etc. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Lovely home

This is a great home for friends to kick back and relax on vacation. The onsite pool is a gem of the property along with the bedrooms being large. We cooked out and so enjoyed sitting in the tiki hut. The master bathroom does not have a counter or space for your belongings when getting ready. That is the only issue. Book this place, you won't be disappointed.

Perfect

This house is in a perfect location at Key Colony Beach. The backyard is an oasis with the perfect amount of sun and shade. The waterfall feature in the pool is so relaxing. The privacy with the beautiful landscaping is fabulous-definitely one of the nicest we saw as we paddled the kayaks down the canals. The house is lovely inside too.

New Year’s vacation

We enjoyed the backyard amenities. Pool during the day and fishing off the dock in the early morning and evening. Home was super clean and location was great! We walked to beach and enjoyed the sunset view.

Excellent week in Marathon FL

We had an amazing stay at this VRBO. The laidback location was exactly what we were looking for - peaceful and relaxing. We loved being able to walk to Sunset Beach in the evenings to enjoy the stunning views and serene atmosphere. During the day, strolling through the charming the neighborhood was a delightful experience.The property itself was spotless and well maintained , with a beautiful tropical backyard that made us feel like we were in our private oasis. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing, scenic, and clean place to stay. We hope to come back soon!

This was our second stay at Southern Comfort. I loved the addition of the new washer and Dryer. Wish our stay could have been longer. I can’t wait until we are able to return. Don’t hesitate to make reservations as this little piece of paradise books fast!!

Awesome Rental

We had a lovely Thanksgiving week in this beautiful updated home. The backyard was spectacular with the pool, tiki, bar, and dock. Everything was in pristine condition. We loved the living area, great fully stocked kitchen, and large bedrooms. It’s our favorite place so far!

Perfect place on the water

Excellent and wonderful, quaint and a perfect location for boating! (We brought our boat) We just wish we had longer! We needed a long overdue vacation and it was a wonderful place to reconnect and unwind, plenty of items to cook our meals and the freezer on the porch was perfect for bait. The pool, the dock, etc we want to come back for a month!

Paradise

Tropical Paradise. The 2/2 had everything you needed for a perfect stay. Nicely decorated, very spacious inside and clean. The outside was a tropical paradise with privacy. Enjoy yourself in the pool, under the tiki hutt, bar and grill and dock for the boat. Don’t miss out on his place, it is the perfect Key Colony Beach getaway. Ellen 9/14/24

Beautiful backyard

The duplex was roomy and clean except some of the cooking utensils in the drawer and at the grill were rusty and some in the drawer were actually caked with food. There was a Keurig coffeemaker, which wasn’t in the pics and was a nice surprise, but a K-cup was left in the coffeemaker. The living room furniture is very comfortable. I do agree with a previous review that with what one pays, it would be nice to have more than one roll of paper towels, two rolls of toilet paper per bathroom and two garbage bags when they require a minimum of a one week stay. There is no welcome notebook giving restaurant recommendation, things to do and see or the checkout process. All I was told in a message was to be sure garbage was taken out before we left. I hope that was all we were to do. The front door does not stay shut and as in a previous review, there is still no green light in the canal. The listing states it is within walking distance to Sunset Park Beach, which it is and one reason I booked this property, but the beach area is very small and there is no swimming or wading allowed. The TV remote in the secondary bedroom is missing buttons and, thus, will not work the TV. One last comment and this is an FYI, not a complaint, the light switches do not work the ceiling fan/light in either bedroom. After we realized this and pulled the chain to turn on the light, we noticed there is a note on the light switches stating they are for the bedside lamps.

Southern Comfort Rocks

Perfect vacation rental! We are local about 6 hours away and have been traveling to the keys for years and this is one of our favorite keys and favorite rental. Boaters paradise! The amenities were amazing! We enjoyed dining outside every evening. The home was very spacious for two couples. The pool was perfect not too hot! We had to reach out to the host twice and response was immediate. We will be back!

Great stay in July

Easy location for having a boat during your vaca. The pool was key to cool down after a hot day. Had everything we needed and we enjoyed walking to Sunset Park and around Key Colony in the evening.

Beautiful home dock needs work

The home and property were very well maintained. The property was extremely clean and beautifully decorated. The dock had major problems. The pilings did not offer protection for a nice boat. The dock ladder was not secured and very dangerous. We were told that the dock will be Updated and repaired . The property manager was very helpful and made herself available for any questions that we had throughout our stay if the dock is repaired, I would highly recommend this property.
