Very nice and clean cabin, the host was very quick to respond and help with any questions we had. Loved the fishing straight from the dock, and loved kayaking on the very quiet and calm lake. It was a great setup for our family of five. Thanks again to the hosts for sharing their place.

The house was perfect for our ‘guys’ trip. We enjoyed some fishing and card games at the table. The location was excellent for spending some time in both Frankfort and Bardstown.

We had a wonderful time! Property was as described. Communication with host was wonderful. They insured we had everything we needed and answered all of my questions ahead of time. My kids loved the s’mores supplies that awaited us! Fishing off the dock and sitting in the hot tub were top activities enjoyed by all. Location was great- visited Fort Knox, Mammoth Caves and the Ark Encounter.

Excellent basecamp for Bourbon Trail

Loved staying at this great cabin on a lake. First time doing the Bourbon Trail and this place was ideally located. Very clean and easy check in. Would stay here again.

We loved this lake house, we all felt immediately comfortable when we got there and thoroughly enjoyed the back porch and fishing off the private dock. The coffee maker in the kitchen was very good, and our kids were super happy with the beds in the open area at the top of the stairs. Overall a very relaxing and comfortable vacation - one note, be aware and check yourselves for ticks, we had a few on us and our dog but no ill effects. Just make sure to check every day. The towns nearby were great and the area is beautiful!

Second year in a row we stayed during our guys trip to Kentucky! Great central location for hitting many distilleries and still have a comfortable place to relax in the evenings. Love the covered deck facing the water, fire pit, grilling steaks, etc.

Small cabin on Beaver Lake was perfect for four friends getting together for a weekend on the bourbon trail. Sherry, our host, was the most responsive I’ve ever had in 10 years of renting. House was well appointed and well stocked with everything that we needed, and everything was in working order. Says it sleeps eight, but that would be a stretch. Was perfect for our party of 4. Could do 6 fine, but be mindful it’s just one bathroom. Hospitality was top-notch, and even when had to respond to a small issue during our stay. See if you can somehow get a hold of the host’s homemade bourbon balls.Only gave 5 stars because they wouldn’t let me give more. Definitely recommend!

Loved the accommodations, amenities and the scenery. Absolutely wonderful place and Sherry was great in coordinating our stay. Would highly recommend!
