Staff was outrageously rude and incompetent. We dropped the second night a few days earlier. At check-in I was waiting at counter patiently when he turned and rudely asked what did you say. I said I hadn’t said anything but I was there to check in. He apologized for being rude as he was hearing the guest talking behind and though it was me. We were pretty sure he was high but he did check us in and we went to room. We checkout this morning at 10:30. I handed the key to front desk. At 6;15pm I receive the weirdest call of my life. The front desk guy from the night before is telling me he charged me for another night because our stuff including wallet was left in room, I said no, we have all our stuff including wallets he had the wrong guest. He began to argue with me saying no it’s you and it’s your stuff. I assured him we were in room 2215. He said no you stayed on the first level. I again stated we walked in and up stairs and indeed were on second floor. He said no we have your stuff. I at this time was rude and told him to use his brain and look at the wallet he says he has and see WHO it belonged to and charge them. He hung up on me. I called back. He hung up on me again. Then a few minutes later he returned the call apologizing and saying he would reimburse us tomorrow and he was sorry but he didn’t like the way I was talking to him and he felt it was rude. Holy cracker jacks, he’s off his rocker. Need to get rid of that one
