"Very clean room Frienly staff"

"Self check in means you have to upload a new credit card & pay $50 in deposit as well as upload an ID - per room - on site in their parking lot with terrible wifi. So youll end up driving to get wifi to complete this terrible experience. Per room - they cant just apply your information to all rooms you prepaid for. An hour 1/2 later youll get in your room. "

"It was so nice. I never stayed at an Inn and it was very pleasant. The antennae didn’t work on the tv too much and I had to watch a playoffs game on my phone and that was the only issue I had. It was clean and comfortable. Staff was nice and friendly."

"The inn at Zaca Creek was special. We booked room 6 to stay and visit nearby Solvang with our college-age kids. The inn has all of the modern luxury amenities you want but delivered with the feel of a rustic, ancient roadhouse. The beds were plush and the bathroom was awesome. "Broken shower head and plugged sink , not having a clean towels (towels with hair) , terrible, even after calling the attention of front desk."

"This was my third time staying at this hotel. I love staying at this hotel and I’ve stayed at 2 other hotels in the area previously. Check in is easy. Centrally located. Staff are helpful. The room and bathroom are large. My only negative would be the shower does not have enough shelves for personal shower toiletries. (Bring a suction cup shower caddy)."

Be more than kind to desk staff (even if you’re tired after a long drive and don’t feel like chitchatting…) because otherwise you’ll get set up in the first floor rooms with “wonderful city view” AKA loud room by the lobby facing the parking lot."

"We have stayed at many properties in Solvang and were happy with King Frederick Inn. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Karen. The location was central, literally, the center of Solvang. Everything you could need is within walking distance. The main reasons for the four star instead of the five star (8 verses 10 based on Expedia double valuing the points), is the proximity of room doors. Our door was virtually hindered to the room next to ours and neighbors returned...

Hot tub and pool were both well maintained at a comfortable temperature for their intended use and spotlessly clean. Excellent staff who provided help and information. Property is located at the far west end of Mission with easy access and abundant parking"
