One bedroom, one bath lake front house with lots of charm. Property has it's own private dock on a secluded 35 acre stocked lake. Come and enjoy the quiet relaxing atmosphere of country lake life. The house amenities include 2 kayaks, fire pit and charcoal grill. Lake house offers one bedroom with full size bed, additional twin size daybed in living room, a beautiful 48 foot screened in porch has plenty of seating for relaxing and a twin daybed for afternoon naps. House also includes one bathroom and full size kitchen with all you need for cooking,.

Lincoln Lake community offers a picnic area, playground, local creek and plenty of fishing.

This place was as close to perfect as you can get! It's exactly what we were looking for in a relaxing get-away! Gloria is fantastic and lives close by so was very helpful with things in the area. We didn't have much luck fishing off the dock but the park is just a short walk away and the fishing there was great! I would imagine if we were avid catfish fishermen we would have had more luck by the cabin. The place was clean and all the residents in the community are super friendly. We would definitely recommend this place for anyone needing to get away!

Took the wife for a long weekend getaway and could not have had a better stay than we did at Clementine Cottage! Lots of unique spots to visit and eat if you want to get out and explore the area, and everything you need if you just want to stay home and enjoy a day on the quiet lake. We really enjoyed it and can't wait to come back!

Clean, cute, cozy and comfortable!

We absolutely loved Clementine. It was the perfect place for days of rest, relaxation and reading! Gloria is a premier host and it shows!I loved the decor especially the great artwork.The porch was my favorite space where we could watch so many kinds of birds. We did not move our vehicle from the time we arrived until we departed…did not want to leave ! The golf cart allowed us to view our surroundings. Kayaks were available as well as fishing gear, but we were too lazy and relaxed to move off the porch! Did I mention snacks? Oh,my goodness…more than we could possibly eat while there! Just a wonderful get-away! We hope to return to Lincoln Lake again in the near future!

Charming Vacation Rental

This is the ideal place to sit back relax and unwind! This is a great lake to kayak, take in the surrounding beauty of the wildlife and nature. There is a well stocked kitchen with all you need to cook a gourmet meal or a light snack. Bath towel's are luxurious and cozy. Definitely will be back to this charming cottage,

Wonderful retreat

My husband and I had such a quiet and lovely stay at Clementine Cottage. If you need some days that are slow-moving, peaceful and so quiet, Lincoln Lake and this cottage are perfect. Even with the heat and humidity (which is just a given in the summer :) ) the porch was our favorite spot, day and night. So grateful to Gloria for her kind hospitality!

Beautiful wildlife

What a beautiful little cabin. Just what we needed. Had a little bit of a hard time with the Wi-fi and the water was pretty merky in the lake. But it is an absolutely peaceful property. Lots of yummy snacks and Gloria answered any questions we had. So much wildlife. Awesome booking.

Serene Tranquility Colorful Enjoyable Laughter Peaceful

Gloria thought of everything to make sure our stay was everything I mentioned in the title. It's funny how something as simple as seat covers on the top of the line fabric recliners helped me to relax because I did not have to worry about getting the chairs wet or dirty. The screen in porch was clean -- no spider webs, all the patio furniture was dust free. I loved all the brochures and information. The snack basket was a blessing since there were no stores nearby. The variety of birds on the lake was fascinating. We enjoyed our morning coffee and breakfast on the screened in patio watching the wildlife around the lake come alive.

Relaxing getaway

We took a last minute getaway and Gloria was so easy to work with and accommodating. The place was beautiful. It always seems so much more peaceful on the water. Enjoyed some fishing and just being away from the hustle and bustle. Would absolutely recommend staying here.

Beautiful area, great house, wonderful host

Gloria and Glen were awesome hosts who made sure we had everything we needed to make our getaway relaxing and fun. Snacks on the table, beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable home, fully stocked kitchen, fishing poles and everything you need to grill. The atmosphere is great and the surrounding scenery is beautiful. We loved our stay so much we have already booked our next getaway there.

We were pleasently surprised of how everything was identical to the listing on VRBO!! This wonderful location was even better than we expected!! The wildlife was fantastic... and just the peaceful tranquility of sitting by the lake at sunrise, and sunset was so soothing to the soul. Lots of activities to do all week, without even leaving the cabin!! Perfectly located for a day trip to all the beautiful scenic places Tennessee has to offer, and minutes from the Alabama state line! The inside was so perfectly decorated, and clean for a "lake life" environment... as was the entire property. All the people there, we very nice, and hospitable! It was like living in a dream world for a week!! We are already planning on our next visit!! Our 2 dogs, definately loved this adventure too!! Thanks to Gloria, who was a fabulous hostess. Her communication, and presence while there, was wonderful!! This place, as my wife said in the guest book, is like "a slice of heaven", as everything was what we were expecting, and received on our honeymoon vacation!! Looking forward to returning soon!!

Perfect getaway!

My husband and I spent a week here and had the most wonderful, relaxing time. The house was very clean and had really cute "lake life" decor. Gloria left a basket of snacks for us on the kitchen table, as well as bottled water in the refrigerator. Coffee was provided, and the kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of dishes and cookware. The screened in porch was amazing. We brought our cat with us, and he loved the porch, too! We are already looking forward to renting this gem again in the future.

Great mid-week get away

Had a great stay at this property. Screened in porch is awesome. We used the fire pit every night. Easy to launch the kayaks right from the property. There's a Dollar General less than 10 mins from the property if you forget anything or need a resupply. Communication with Gloria is quick and easy. She dropped off some supplies for us when I had a pretty large splinter stuck deep in my foot (I don't recommend going barefoot on the dock). Couple of pro tips - there's tiki torches next to the fire pit, they do add some ambience but the view of the sky is significantly better if you don't light them. We saw many satellites and a shooting star. If you have a dog, walk down to the backside of the dam (less than 10 min walk). There's a running creek there that is more suitable for a dog to play in than the lake. You can kayak the entire perimeter of the lake in probably 30-45 mins and there's some neat sites to see. Enjoy!

Relaxing tranquility

Very clean, equipped with extra things you would need. Gloria was very nice and accommodating. We fished, took boat ride, grilled, and really enjoyed the screened in porch with three fans and several comfortable chairs and lounger. We saw over 25 birds species and caught 20 fish.
