A light & spacious flat, overlooking ruins of Kelso Abbey, close to town centre.

Living/dining room - two-seater sofa, two armchairs, dining table with 6 chairs, TV & DVD player. Wi-Fi recently installed.
There are two double bedrooms with wardrobe and drawers in both rooms.
Well-equipped kitchen with twin oven four-hob cooker, microwave, toaster etc.and a breakfast table for two; no dishwasher.
The bathroom has a bath, electric shower, basin, lavatory and heated towel rail. Electric heating in all rooms. Spacious hallway.
We have someone who lives very nearby who cleans the flat and manages the change overs she is also there to give you any support if needed. All linen is provided.
Minimum stay 4 nights for £320 each additional night £55 One week £520.

Overall performance ok. Nevertheless some specific points as first localisation ( GPS OR google could help) and warm water procedure could have been anticipated to smooth the usage. Specific localisation close to cimetery could be a blocking point even it is part lf the charm of this endearing city

Lovely flat

Enjoy coming to this lovely, well equipped, comfortable flat and have returned four times.Jane, the host is super helpful and there is everything you need in the flat which is located opposite Kelso Abbey and near all the shops and restaurants. Highly recommended.

Kelso

Kelso is a wonderful town. The butcher shop and restaurant around the corner are fantastic. Very nice produce shop nearby. Car parking is free, but usually not available closer than a block.

Fantastic Week

We stayed in Kelso as a central point for visiting the South Borders of Scotland and this apartment was perfect. Right in the heart of Kelso. Lots of places to eat, shop, tour the town and its attractions like Floors Caste and the Antique Fair. Being next to the Abbey, the views out of each window was a painting. Kitchen well stocked with cooking supplies if you want to cook your own meals. Parking is located on the road at the apartment if you can get a spot or very close by is a free parking lot. Highly recommend this lovely apartment. We would definitely stay here again

Great accommodation with stunning view of the Abbey. Kelso and surrounding area very interesting to explore but also easy access to Berwick and Lindisfarne. I would definitely recommend This accommodation, Kelso and the border country as a destination.

When last minute travel plans turn into a wonderful discovery

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Kelso and at Jane's flat. Comfortably spacious, quiet, centrally located, with views out to Kelso Abbey and the graveyard very atmospheric. Perusing Jane's collection of vintage books, maps and slightly old fashioned paraphernalia made for pleasant evenings with a glass of wine in hand. We would happily stay here again and indeed, look forward to our return to the Scottish Borders (a last minute travel decision ! ). So much to see and do. Lovely gentle countryside with brilliant historical castles and abbeys. And, Hunter's, the butchers/petite bistrot to the front of the building was fabulous ! Thank you Jane.
