Relax in the beautiful Lübeck Bay, located right next to the forest and just 750 meters from the beach. Kellenhusen has plenty to offer dog lovers: 3 dog-friendly beaches and an off-leash area just 300 meters away, right in the woods. You can take your partner, children, or dog on beautiful walks through the woods or along the water’s edge and the beach. Pure relaxation.<br><br>The small vacation complex “Am Walde” (consisting of 10 houses and 5 apartments) also features its own dog playground (a 1.25-meter-high electric fence with toys and a slalom course) and, of course, a children’s playground, so that both two-legged and four-legged friends can have fun and relax—<br><br>Our “Forest Chalets” No. 3 and No. 4 were newly furnished in 2025/2026 and are decorated in a “forest style.” In addition, there’s a bedroom with cozy double beds (1.6 x 2.0 m sleeping area) and a bedroom with a bunk bed; a cozy living room with a kitchen and a charming bathroom with a shower round out your vacation retreat. Each house has its own terrace and patio furniture. You can tie your dog up on a leash on the terrace. Air conditioning provides comfortably warm temperatures in winter and cool temperatures in summer.<br>A new kitchen has recently been installed, along with new beds, closets, a leather couch, and living room furniture.<br><br>You can also rent bicycles and SUPs (stand-up paddleboards) from us (subject to availability).<br><br>Notes:<br>- We have a Finnish sauna (for a fee) at our vacation complex. Due to COVID-19, use may be restricted or unavailable during your stay.<br>- A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed per unit (dogs must be kept on a leash both on our property and in town/the forest so that every guest can enjoy a relaxing vacation).<br><br>Billing Information: <br>- Electricity is billed based on consumption at 40ct/kWh (approx. 2–3€/day in summer, 3–9€/day in spring and fall, 10–28€/day in winter)<br>- The visitor’s tax is charged separately at 2–3.50€ per adult per night, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Kellenhusen Baltic Sea resort<br>- Charging station / wallbox: We have a private, fee-based charging station available for our guests. (max. charging current 11 kW)<br><br>Note regarding bed linens/towels:<br>- These are not automatically included in the booking. You can either bring your own or book them for a fee. Bed linens for 12€ per person and towels for 6€ per person.<br><br><br>Our Categories:<br>Retro:<br>All of our houses and apartments date from the ’70s and ’80s and are decorated in a style reflective of that era—or, as they say, “cozy like Mom’s place”—with appropriate beds, a kitchen featuring a dishwasher, stainless steel stovetops, a separate microwave and refrigerator, a drip coffee maker, a couch in the living room and an armchair with a TV and TV stand, a bunk bed in the children’s bedroom, and a double bed in the master bedroom. A functional bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink is, of course, included. Our Danish wooden houses feature highly efficient electric heating systems and boilers/instant water heaters.<br><br>Wald: These units have been refurbished; this means the furniture was replaced around 2023/2024, some floors have been refinished, and they are equipped with a new kitchen featuring a ceramic cooktop, microwave, convection oven, and filter coffee maker, as well as air conditioning with heat pump heating.<br><br>Fireplace: Some of our units have been refurbished; this means the furniture was replaced around 2020, and in some cases the flooring has been replaced with low-maintenance, modern flooring. They feature a new kitchen with a ceramic cooktop, a microwave convection oven, and a Senseo pod coffee maker (optionally with a filter coffee maker, subject to availability), box-spring beds in the master bedroom, and the Danish wooden bungalows feature a wood-burning stove for the colder months.<br><br>Wellness: In addition to the “fireplace” upgrade, some of our units have
