Very comfortable cabin for 4 with beautiful views from the large glass windows. Do not miss out on this place. Its very close to Seljalandsfoss. Highly recommend it, you will not regret it. "

"This hotel was fantastic. We loved it. Food was wonderful and they were very accommodating with our food allergies and vegetarianism. The owner is lovely too. Only complaint is that even with a fan the rooms are very warm, but that seems to be the case in all the hotels here. "

"The property was really Home like. Great host. And very welcoming. The kitchen supplied everything you needed and the area to sit was incredible. Nice and peaceful and definitely would come back. This hotel doesn’t get the credit that it should. It was perfect."

"We enjoyed this property for our 2 night stay. The rental unit looks brand new and is furnished very well. It was probably the largest and nicest rental units we stayed in for our entire two week trip. It was nice to have the space! The only downside to this property is that it was out in the country, away from everything. So grab what you need before retiring for the evening. "They were very kind and accommodating since I had messed up my booking for the hotel. I needed to stay there on July 6th, but didn’t actually book it until July 7th. When we got there I realized my error. I was so worried about having to find another hotel, but they found a room for me and my family and we made do. They directed us to a nice place to eat and it all worked out well. We thank them for their help. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities. "

"Katerina was an outstanding receptionist and got us situated in the area. Our wait staff at dinner (young woman from Czechia) was also very helpful and friendly, as was the receptionist on our departure."

"We stayed on our last night in Iceland. The rooms are albeit old fashioned, for a 1 night stay, it's decent. There's a restaurant and the breakfast was nice. This is very close to all the great falls around that area and you can see northern lights right above the hotel. We saw northern lights in Vik and here on the second day. It was beautiful and they also have places you can scan and go to watch the Aurora. 2 hours from the international airport. "

"It is a place like no other. Very cool concept and off grid but close to nearby town location. Few Icelandic attractions 30 minutes away. Waterfalls and DC3 wreckage. Very clean and well organized amenities. Nice showers, hot water, espresso-coffee machine to start the day with your favorite one. Igloos are fantastic, comfortable bed and fresh, crisp white bed linen. With the right weather seeing northern lights would be magical. "Ármót Guesthouse was a perfect place for our first night in Iceland. There was 3 of us travelling and we each had our own room in the cabin. The cabin had everything we needed with a bonus view of the horse fields. The area was quiet and all instructions for entering the self check in cabin were clear. We would definitely stay here again in the future. "

"This was our first night in Iceland. We checked in late, however the front desk lady was super friendly and accommodating. We drove up to our cabin and it was a perfect start to our trip. Very rustic and quant. The three of us comfortably slept in a bed each. Would recommend! "

"Stayed here for the 2nd night during our Iceland trip on the way back to Reykjavik. The code for self-check in was sent the day before. We were in the exact same room again. The room was clean, the shower room worked well, the kitchen was spacious and equipped with two sets of everything (sinks, ovens, stoves, microwaves, fridges, etc).
