  • Overview
    Villa Melissa is located in Katelios, Kefalonia. This detached vacation
    rental property offers air-conditioning, Free Wi-Fi and sleeps up to 5
    people with 2 Bedrooms and 1 Bathrooms. There is a private pool (South
    Facing) with barbecue and Sea views. Walking distance to the Beach and
    Restaurants.
    Layout

    The front door opens into an air-conditioned open plan living/dining
    room with kitchen. Two sets of French windows lead out to the shaded
    patio and to the lawned gardens and private swimming pool. The living
    room has space for a folding bed suitable for a child if required. A
    hallway from the open plan living area takes you to the two bedrooms
    and family bathroom.

    Living Room
    The living room is air-conditioned and has a Satellite TV, ornamental
    fireplace, dining area, comfortable sofas, DVD Player and Free Wi-Fi.
    There are patio doors to the pool terrace.

    Kitchen
    The kitchen features a toaster, coffee maker, washing machine,
    dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove/hob and oven. There is also
    a barbecue outside.

    Villa Melissa has 2 air-conditioned Bedrooms:
    Bedroom 1 is air-conditioned with a double bed.
    Bedroom 2 is air-conditioned with 2 single beds.

Great location

Situated within Katelios, 3 minute walk from shops, tavernas and the beach. Great outdoor space that captures the sun with a lovely veranda for shade as well. Short drive to the larger town of Skala (10 mins max). Tavernas I’m Katelios serve amazing seafood - all in all, great villa and great setting, many thanks !

Very helpful friendly pool man and cleaner. It was a pleasure to see the pool man each morning, nothing too much trouble. As usual Agnitravel gave efficient, helpful and friendly service, also arranging transfer taxis whose drivers were extremely friendly and helpful.

potential for greatness

Its a nice property in a quaint village. Had 2 water outages which resulted in marginal water quality. Was told the water pump needed to be replaced. Don't know if this has occured.The TV/stereo was worthless. Nothing worked. Get new stuff that works.The range top hood wasn't even wired to power and had no exhaust duct attached.The linens had so much soap scent to them it was kinda uncomfortable.We contacted the rental agency and got lots of apologies but nothing was ever resolved. We were there for 6 days.If they would get the above issues resolved this would be a very nice place to stay.We loved Kefalonia and this area. Fix your problems owners.....

We had an excellent holiday at the villa. We have stayed at the Melissa before so knew what to expect. No issues at all with the villa. Thanks to Gaby (the caretaker) who cleaned the pool every morning and his wife who cleaned the villa twice weekly. Its an ideal location just a couple of minutes walk from two mini markets, gift shop and bar. Under 10 minutes walk to the beach and the majority of the Tavernas. Thanks to Agni Travel for another perfect holiday!

Ninth visit to Katelios and again a great Holiday. Great location, walkable distances to beach and a few friendly tavernas. Nice villa with a well-equipped kitchen and spacious living room. Great bedrooms with soft mattresses. Perfect for a quiet break as a family of 4 with 2 children (3 and 6). Great villa, great location, and perfect holiday for us. We have already re-booked it for 10 days next year.

The outside and pool areas were magnificent and we all had our privacy. This is our first holiday when we dont stay in a hotel. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor seating area and the pool. The children loved the pool and terrace and played there almost all day. Everyone in Katelios was extremely helpful and friendly, giving us directions and recommendations for places to visit. We also visited Skala and Poros and spent a great time there: tasting local food, drinking some of the local wines, swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling, etc. The Agni Team was extremely helpful & they gave us lots of useful information & contact numbers for the local area. Looking forward to booking with them again for next year.

Perfect for a tranquil break and relaxation. I liked the area and the views were appreciative. Villa Melissa was perfect with absolutely no issues. It was spotlessly clean & well presented. Bedrooms are with a good size, with plenty of storage space. Nice outside area with garden, private pool, and terrace. Villa is in a very peaceful and remote location only a 10-minute car trip from the bustling center of Skala, where are a huge choice of restaurants shops, supermarkets, and entertainment. We spend a nice time at nearby Katelios and Paralia Kaminia beach where we enjoyed tasting local food, drinking some of the local wines, swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling, etc. We had a nice holiday at the Villa Melissa and we will come back again. Thanks to everyone that look after us before and during our stay.

A beautiful villa, the gardens and pool area are lovely with fabulous views. The villa is well equip and well furnished throughout. The location is excellent for the village just a 5 minute walk to the beach and restaurants. Although in a quiet area there are properties next door so you can get some noise from their pool/terrace area.

Wonderful holiday in Villa Melissa, the area is beautiful and villa very comfortable. Agni themselves were excellent when there was a fire nearby and quickly arranged a move for one night to a villa in another area because of the smoke and kept us updated throughout. Well done Agni and the caretaker of Melissa who came and checked that we were ok.

Lovely little villa in a beautiful little town. Villa location was superb and close to the local tavernas, beach & mini markets. The couple who looked after the villa were lovely, kept the villa and pool tidy and always asked if they could help with anything. Would definitely stay here again

The location is perfect, walking distance to the beach and a huge array of dining options. As mentioned above, the cleaning service was exceptional. The pool was the biggest disappointment. As reported during the holiday, it was covered in wasps during the day and meant that we couldn’t use it at all during the day apart from very early in the morning or from early evening. I was stung by wasps twice and my seven year old son once during the stay. In 20 years of staying on the island, I’ve never experienced this much of a problem with a pool.
