"Very brief stay as travelled for the solstice but lovely property. Loved the history and little features. Nice garden also. Very peaceful and a lovely pub nearby thats walkable."

"Perfect central location to visit Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, the seaside and Bath. The accommodation was extremely well maintained and presented.
A quiet location situated within a riding school, so perfect for those with an interest in horses but not affected by it being a working stable. The kitchen was particularly well equipped with good quality pots, pans and crockery and the host even provided washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea, coffee, milk and even cake!

"We spent 4 nights at this lodge between 28Dec-1Jan and it was excellent. From check in to check out the process was seamless and we had everything we needed. Lodge was cozy, clean and warm and the bathrooms had actually been updated so were newer and nicer than the pics. Area was lovely and quiet. Had a carvery at the Cider barn restaurant about 5 min drive away and we drove into Weston Super Mare (20 mins) and got wristbands for the pier and did ice skating. They have activities on site which...

"A great holiday property for a stay in Somerset with plenty to do and nice places to visit in the area. The property was spacious and well managed. The hosts were on hand if needed and the property was clean and well supplied with everything you need. Excellent stay in Hollys Barn"

"Had a four day break with parents, the cottage was spotless on arrival and well equipped. The wifi was occasionally sporadic but to be expected in a rural area.
We slept well with no passing traffic and even with four adults there was ample hot water.Lots of seating and although weather was poor the outside seating area was great . Small downside was the property can be rented alongside next door(semi detached) , there is a locked interconnecting door but the noise can carry through a little ."

"Der Zugwaggon ist wirklich eine sehr besondere Unterkunft. Uns hat es sehr gefallen. Die Einrichtung ist mit Liebe zum Detail. Es war sehr sauber und alles vorhanden was man im Urlaub benötigt. Leider war die Klospülung meistens nicht zu stoppen und ist permanent nachgelaufen. Der Waggon ist wirklich sehr schön, benötigt aber dringend eine Restauration, vor allem die Fenster.
Die Lage ist sehr schön und ruhig, wenige Minuten zum Strand. Ein paar mal am Tag fährt ein schöner alter Zug vorbei....
