Cozy A-frame cabin surrounded by trees in Keene

  • Escape to a cozy A-frame cabin in Keene. Nestled in the trees and close to hiking, swimming and canoeing adventures. Easy access from Keene and close to Route 73. A 15 minute drive to Lake Placid in one direction and 15 minutes from Whiteface Mountain in the other. Many of the 46 are at your doorstep!

    The interior features high ceilings and a queen bed on one side. Mini-fridge, kettle, toaster and table with chairs on the other. Wifi included.

    The outhouse is 20 feet from the cabin and also has an open-air shower (fyi- the water is fed by a underground well, so is bracing all times of the year! No hot water from shower available). You can sit on Adirondack chairs on the deck and enjoy the forest view in front of the firepit.

    The cabin is 200ft down from the main house, on the same side of the road. You will just see the rooftop peaking over the wild flowers on approach. Parking is alongside the cabin.

    There is road noise but no view of Route 73 during the day. Crickets, occasional owls or passing hooting bears are the usual night time sounds out this way. I look forward to hosting you.

Perfect place to stay if you are hiking the high peaks or checking out Lake Placid but don’t want to deal with the crowds. The cabin was exceptionally clean and the host very accommodating. The hot tub was a godsend after a day of climbing two high peaks. Would 100% stay here again!

Really lovely and cozy retreat with everything you need for a relaxing stay! We had a great time lounging in the hot tub and staring at the trees. The cabin is perfectly located and was such a great spot to come home to after hiking and exploring all day. Thank you!

i loved that when we communicated with the owners they replied back within a great time. i also loved how they gave us privacy and provided us all essentials. only downfall was how cold the water was when i went to shower and we didn't see any animals ( i am a animal lover).

Came up for the Ironman Lake Placid, and this place was super cute! Comfy bed, clean property, cute patio, and most luxurious composting toilet of our lives. The hot tub was a lifesaver after the race. The cold shower was…cold. Julie is the best—we left a piece of jewelry, which she graciously mailed back. We loved our stay!

We had an incredible stay! Everything was very clean. We loved the set up and had a great time using the hot tub. We weren't able to figure out how to change settings on the hot tub but that may have been user error as well. Thank you so much for the great stay!

Perfect cozy cabin!

Highly recommend staying at this cabin for your Adirondacks trip! All of the amenities you need and then some - the hot tub was such a fun surprise! Julie was very kind and helpful, we hope to come back soon.

The little a-frame was an amazing place to stay. It was clean, quiet, and cozy. We loved using the hot tub and fire pit. Julie was a great host. She is kind and helpful, and she really cared about our experience as guests. We cannot wait to stay here again soon!

Amazing little a-frame

My husband and I stayed for three nights and were very impressed with the little A-frame. First, it’s really in a great location and close to everything we wanted to do… hikes, restaurants and little shops.The cabin was clean and nicely decorated. Love all the amenities inside and out. The hot tub was a nice treat especially after a long hike. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

I’ll say right away we loved everything about this property and how responsive and accommodating our host, Julie, was. The property was exactly as described and perfect for an escape into the mountains. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, charming, relaxing… the list goes on. We did not want to leave and hope to be back!

Amazing Time

Property was clean and cozy! Host was amazing and always offered anything to help! Check in and out was simple! Surrounding area was nice. Property is small but enough for one-two people! Lots to see in the area! Definitely recommend.
