  • Villa Kolenchery is a luxury water front house situated about 1.5hr away from Toronto. This Villa has 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and 2 kitchen. Sleeps up to 12 people comfortably. Master bedroom has a king size bed with an ensuit, 4 bedrooms with queen beds, 1 bedroom with a single over double bunk bed. You have a large balcony facing the water which gives you a beautiful view of the lake including the sunset. Lake scugog is great for fishing, water tubing and winter activities . The fire pit in the back yard is great for your friends and family gathering. A barbeque grill is also there in the balcony. This rental is not suitable for large groups, outdoor parties with loud noise as it is a quietneighbourhood. Guests should respect the neighbours and no trespassing to neighbours property. Outdoor activities are monitored with cameras by the owner.
    This reservation has a Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 30 days prior to the check in date.
    A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 30 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 14 to 29 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 14 days prior to check-in. CanadaStays Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request.
    Our house rules: primary renter must be 25 or older, no smoking, no parties or events, no pets.
    Damage deposit is mandatory prior to the check in by email transfer.

Not as advertised

Beautiful property, but the pictures posted.must have been older photos of the home LOTS of maintenance and upkeep needed, not to mention countertops and all furniture surfaces, stove top, plates, glasses, cutlery, pots and pans were dirty and needed to be washed upon arrival. Linens provided were not freshly laundered. Stayed at many rentals through Vrbo and never encountered this. Owner offered nothing but apologies. SO embarrassing as this was the place chosen to host with our closest friends for a weekend getaway.

Beautiful Property and Amazing Host

No exaggeration, Ann was the best host I've ever had! She was extremely accommodating, prompt with her responses and super friendly. You could tell she cared immensely about her property and about ensuring her guests had an amazing stay! We had a fairly large group, but there was still tons of spaces and beds. The house was modern and clean. The sunsets were spectacular over the lake and we would gather on the dock and watch every night. Highly recommend this place!

Amazing getaway! Definitely stay more than one night.

Ann’s property is beautiful, the images do not do it justice. My partner and I got engaged over this weekend in this beautiful villa surrounded by our closest friends. Beautiful decor and furniture, enough entertainment that we really did not need to bring our own (we barely used our own games), the rooms were comfortable for everyone (12 people) and the kitchens were roomy enough for more than two people to cook together. Our only regret was we couldn’t stay longer. Thank you for your hospitality, great and accessible messaging, and amazing accommodation.

Janetville

The cottage had many rooms and bathrooms. So it was very spacious. However, the carpets were quite stained and the there were many chips and scratches on all the walls. We enjoyed spending time on the dock, but we couldn’t go swimming off the dock because of the weeds. The cottage provided many utensils in the kitchen which allowed a lot of cooking.

Family get-a-way

Property was spacious and worked great. Swimming was not the best for the kids but worked fine. They more enjoy jumping and diving...but the waters were quite shallow. Property was great. My only concern might be the door locks and handles. It was difficult for many of them to be opened easily for both the kids and adults. Property was quiet and relaxing and matched what we wanted, just a quiet time with our family. Otherwise, beautiful property. Location was excellent

Great family get-together

Very large property, the house has a nice open-concept design, over-looking the lake, nothing more you can ask for! Great for a large family stay. The place is clean and relatively well-maintained. 1.5 hour drive from Toronto. Nice to have a fire-pit, pool table, ping pong table.

Kolenchery Villa

The home met our expectations. The main kitchen was great. The dock area needs to be cleaned out. There is an old rug or something in the water. The home was large enough to accommodate 17 of us. We did bring air mattresses which was a good thing. No one cared to sleep on the pullout couches as they were uncomfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Spacious family cottage

Lots of room for our extended family of 13. Everything provided other than bed sheets, towels, and toiletries. Awesome layout with modern finishes. The only area for improvement are the sofa beds - they should bed replaced; not good too sleep on.
