  • Desconecta en The Norland. ¡Una casita recién reformada a solo 2 horas de Toronto! A 5 minutos andando de un embarcadero y a un rato en coche de Coboconk y Balsam Lake. Disfruta de una hoguera bajo las estrellas o de un café en la terraza mientras contemplas las tranquilas vistas.

    El espacio

    Inspirado en la paleta de colores de la naturaleza, el relajante interior está decorado con mucho gusto y pensado para que te relajes. Afuera, disfruta de las estrellas y del paisaje forestal.

    La casa incluye:

    Hemos renovado cada rincón de nuestra casa rural para darle un nuevo aire.

    La casa está equipada para que puedan dormir cómodamente hasta 6 personas. Somos bastante estrictos con ese número, ya que el espacio se queda un poco justo con más de 6 huéspedes.

    ¿Estás durmiendo sobre una nube? No, ¡es solo el colchón viscoelástico que tenemos en todas las habitaciones!

    Nuestra casa rural cuenta con una cocina completa con zona de comedor, equipada con utensilios y menaje para que te sientas como en casa durante tu estancia.

    O si necesitas un descanso de la cocina, ¡date un paseo hasta el Riverside Inn y disfruta allí de una comida estupenda! También puedes ir en coche hasta el pueblo de Coboconk, a solo 7 minutos, donde podrás elegir entre varios restaurantes locales que ofrecen hamburguesas, pizza y mucho más.

    Por la noche, relájate frente a la chimenea eléctrica o junto a la hoguera exterior bajo las estrellas.

We had a wonderful time at a local family reunion. The property was perfect for our needs. Very comfortable. Super clean. Hosts were very attentive and kind. The cottage had everything and was well maintained and organized! There is a lovely sitting area out front to enjoy the sound of water across the street. Wonderful quiet area and secure setting.

This is a charming and comfortable cottage which we found quite perfect in many ways for two adults. However, while we greatly enjoyed sitting on the front deck we felt a little exposed to the road. This was also true in the kitchen where there were no window coverings at night. Of course these details may not bother other people.

Quant Getaway in a Small Town

For anybody looking for a nice,quiet getaway but still with the ability to do activities in the area, this is the place. A nice quant house that is located by a restaurant, corner store and close to many trails for the hiker in you. Very clean and the owners were very responsive and welcoming.

Enjoyed our stay.

It was a great place to stay. Everything that you would need was provided. It was clean and comfortable. The hosts were very easy to communicate with if you had any questions. I would recommend staying here, we wished we were able to stay longer.

Excellent for a long stay or working remotely

This was very comfortable cottage with excellent wifi in a very friendly neighborhood. We were there for a month and I was working remotely. The owners were very responsive to our questions and resolved the few minor issues we had promptly.

Cozy Cottage in the Woods!

Loved my six day stay at the Cozy Cottage! Very cute 3 bedroom cottage with a lovely sized kitchen to cook in and living room/ office space. Stacked washer dryer makes it easy to do laundry if needed. One neighbour close by as well as other cottages nearby make you feel safe and yet the trees between cottages give you privacy. Hiking trails are only a short drive away! This was a very lovely cottage. I had a wonderful stay and would book again! Thank you David and Amy!

Perfect Getaway - Look no further !!!!

Such a perfect getaway nestled in a quaint neighbourhood with a small waterfall right across the property and a nature trail to soak in the fresh positive energy. The cottage is set up in such a cozy way with all you need for your stay with fresh linen, covers, towels, fully stocked kitchen, even games! You're guaranteed to have a great time whether you cook something to enjoy indoors or you fire up the bbq to enjoy a meal out on the deck or by the fire! David and Amy really made sure that we had all we need AND MORE !! They even left us goodies to enjoy during our stay (yay!) Thank you David and Amy for hosting us! It was a pleasure staying at your lovely place. We never wanted to leave and will most definitely be back soon!

Spent the week with the kids and their friends. Had a relaxing time reading and sitting by the fire. The property is in a very quiet neighbourhood. Kim and David were very responsive when I emailed them with a few questions. The cottage was very clean and comfortable.

A cozy spot in Norland, ON

Good value for the rental rate, very clean, tasteful decor, great mattresses for sleeping in all three rooms. The kitchen is well supplied with pots and pans for cooking and eating utensils.. The hosts left us a welcome bag with wine and goodies, a very nice touch. The chalet is in a residential neighbourhood, very attractive and well treed, great for walks with the children and dog. Nice little park/playground close by and boat launch on the Gull River. Centrally located for exploring the Kawartha Lakes area. Air conditioning worked very well. One small negative: there is a humidity issue in and around the chalet and, unfortunately the dehumidifier did not function well. But we would happily return another time.

Excellent Place for a getaway! :)

Lovely Weekend Getaway! This place was perfect for me and my family from out of town, the dock is about a 4 min walk from the place and had my morning coffee there, as well on the porch with comfy couch and chairs, the place was clean and had everything we need. It about a 15 min drive to Balsam Lake, which was nice, you do need to pay for parking for the day, but it’s worth it, water was clean and able to bring a potable bbq to bbq there. The hosts are amazing and very accommodating when I asked questions etc. I am looking forward in booking this cottage again next summer :) Debbie
