This condo is perfect for a large family as it offers two spacious bedrooms. There is a full-size and well-equipped kitchen plus a wet bar with an additional fridge on the other side. The large living area and dining room table accommodate the entire group comfortably. A sofa bed is in the living room for added sleeping arrangements.

The lanai provides an extra-large space for relaxing and feeling the breeze. The A Building at Molokai Shores captures the breeze more than the others. It is an easy walk out of the condo over the grass to the enclosed pool area. The pool has a table with umbrellas and lounge chairs. There is a putting green in front of the condo, along with BBQ and picnic tables on the grounds. The shuffleboard court is located on the backside of the pool.

WHAT’S NEARBY
Molokai Shores is about a mile walk into town. On Molokai's west end, you will find some unspoiled beaches. Kepuhi Beach is great for surfing in the winter and perfect for swimming/snorkeling in the summer. Just a short walk from there and over the old golf course is Papohaku Beach, Hawaii's longest white sand beach.

THINGS TO KNOW
Internet is available, but may be spotty.
The island of Molokai is not Maui; the only way to get there is by plane. Do not attempt to book a ferry ride. There is no operating ferry, but the website is still up and taking payments.
This property is managed by Vacasa Vacation Rentals of Hawaii, LLC.

A mandatory $30 check-in/resort fee will be assessed.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Molokai Stay

Family Vacation

Loved our stay at El Taj. Weather was fantastic! Very much enjoyed boat excursion via Yacht Experiences. Concierge was amazing helping us coordinate transportation. Gym was terrific! Wonderful place! Can’t wait to return one day!!

Get away and stay on Moloka'i. It is a wonderful island!!

Molokai is such a great reminder of slow pace and peaceful!!! I encourage everyone to get away from the hustle and bustle. Staying here was a gem!!

VERY DISAPPOINTED! All of unit was outdated (70's) Leaky faucets throughout unit with toilet constantly running. We had to turn off water supply, squeaky doors, odd smell nearby. ONLY GOOD was the location. Came to visit with family who was born there and guess expectations were higher. Would not return.

Molokai visit

Would have given 5stars but there was mildew on shower curtain and furniture were badly stained, the window screens did not fit well so lizards were able to sneak in, not good because my wife and daughter cannot stand them. The space was great, lots of room for the 5 of us(adults),having 2 bathrooms/showers was wonderful. Because we have family on island we were in and out a lot so we did not use the kitchen, Wi-Fi worked well.

The location is excellent. The grounds are beautiful. Loved that it was ground floor, two bedrooms, two bathrooms. Beyond that it was a hot mess. Some of the furnishings were too dirty and old to ever come clean. The whole place needs a deep clean. The recliner was broken. The slider door latch broke the second day. Luckily there was a second slide that we could use to get to the lanai. After sending photos and a list of unsatisfactory issues, I was refunded my cleaning deposit. If they do a deep clean and change out some of the furniture it would be a great spot.

I loved it being on the bottom floor but we had to get a blow up mattered because there wasn’t enough beds or places to sleep in the condo we had a really bad couch and a broken recliner that had a lot to be desired Too bad we come all the time and have stayed in different units and this was not pleasant at all dead centipedes roaches and lots of ants furniture was filthy and Dan in bathroom made a very loud noise The screens and screen doors are all broken and the list goes on I love molokai shores but this room needs help the management was good about a partial refund but it shouldn’t have come to that

It’s fine

I got the sense from the reviews and photos that it wasn’t going to be particularly clean or nice but we needed a place with at least 3 beds that was on the ground floor so there weren’t a lot of options available.The place was spacious but not very clean. There was absolutely nothing in terms of cooking supplies - not a drop of oil, no salt or pepper - so you have to provide that yourself. One of the windows in the bedroom with two beds did not close and one of the sliding glass doors did not open. I messaged the host who said they would send someone to fix them and no one ever came. I never heard back about it and decided I didn’t need to disrupt our holiday more by continuing to follow up. Those issues might still be going on. The outdoor areas are well-kept and cleaned. There’s a nice little beach to walk on but be careful of thorny branches on the beach.

Large Spacious Unit

This unit is on the ground floor. It used to be two units that have been made into one 2BR/2BA unit. Great for spreading out and walking right out onto the lanai. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen range was broken but that was communicated and a stove top burner was provided. Manager was attentive and helpful.
