The staff is amazing - from pick up, through check in and until check out, they treated us like nowhere in Sri Lanka. They prepared an awsame dinner, took us for an hour tour around the property to explore the wildlife, organized a wonderful safari for us and even brought us things we needed from the shop in the city! "First of all, when I went to 'Palugaha pilgrim resort' it was locked. Even the mobile was not reachable. I had booked this thro' Expedia. Fortunately the auto rickshaw driver was knowledgeable about the place so took us to a nearby place. This did not have any name but there was someone to entertain us. He claimed that was the Palugaha resort & also said there was no intimation from Expedia reg my booking. However, he was kind enough to arrange the room for us. After that, everything was fine....
