Stay in charming Kapa'a, a central spot in Kauai. This modern 2 BR/1 BA condo is a few steps away from the oceanside, shops, & restaurants!

Excellent value. Includes a fully stocked kitchen, parking, W/D, A/C unit (living room). Living room + view of the pool. Wifi, TV, private lanai, rec room + BBQ.

Near the Kapa'a ocean bike path & Waipouli beach.

Split A/C unit to stay cool. It's a single unit located in the living room.

BEACH ACCESS: This is not an ocean view, but it is steps away from Waipouli Beach (200 yards).

BEACH STUFF! We provide beach chairs, boogie board, umbrella & towels.

DISTANCE TO GROCERY STORES, POST OFFICE, COFFEE & SHOPS: 2 minutes away. You can walk right across the street!

DISTANCE TO NORTH/SOUTH SHORE: It depends on traffic. It can take anywhere from 35-60 minutes depending on where you go to either shore. It's best to use an app to estimate your ETA and head out early if you're heading south.

ACTIVITY: This is a very active area. It is a convenient location to access restaurants and shops. It is busy during the day.

NOISE LEVEL: The unit itself is fairly quiet for being in a central location. However, if you're sensitive to noise, consider bringing earplugs. Be aware there are roosters all over the island.

PLACES TO SEE: Waimea canyon, Poipu beach, Ke'e beach, Hanalei Bay, Na Pali coast, Kalalau Trail, Anini, Koke'e, Kilauea. You also receive a comprehensive guidebook upon your stay.

Check in is easy with the given code, detailed instructions to get there were given a couple of days before. Just perfect. Working wi-fi, washing machine and drier, dishwasher, pots and pans, sun umbrella, beach towels... There's everything and anything you may need! Great position to visit the island

Wonderful stay on beautiful Kauai

This condo was clean and very comfortable for our family of 4. Some have commented that it was small, but it was quite roomy for a condo in Hawaii. It was nice to have a separate room with the two twin beds for my teenage boys and a sizeable living room and balcony in addition to a separate bedroom with a king bed, decent sized kitchen with a dishwasher, and good size bathroom with a washer and dryer. There was also an AC unit which not all condos have and a very important designated parking spot.Since we go to Hawaii a lot, we are used to the noises that come through single wall construction - so the roosters and street noise and noisy neighbors comes with the territory. Conveniently located across the street from a Safeway that is open 24 hours I think and several dessert and eating places.The property is on a beach although this unit is behind the building that is actually facing the beach, so a short 2 min walk to the beach. The beach is probably not a great swimming beach as it looked rocky, but it was a good beach to wake up early and watch the sunrise on.15 min drive to airport (unless there's traffic). 1.5 hour drive around to west side Kokee state park. Probably about 40 min drive to south side Poipu area. And about 40 min drive to north side Hanalei Bay.Enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again if our travels bring us back to Kauai.

Great location and close to beach

The condo is at a great location right between the north and south shore and is close to grocery stores and lots of food choices. The room was not the cleanest I have stayed in. There was dust on all the door frames and the pillows were heavily stained under the pillow cover. We had to go out a buy toilet paper and extra napkins for 3 guests as there was only one roll provided and no extra. Tried to contact host with no response. Kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans that we needed as well as a coffee maker.

Good Location but Not as Nice as Advertised

The property is just off a busy road in downtown Kapaa which can be tough to get in and out of. It is comfortable but nothing special. Beds are fine and LR is small with no table. Seems overpriced to me. Very basically equipped. Would probably look elsewhere if our stay was longer.

The unit was a little small for four adults. Was disappointed in the lateness in getting check in info and not getting the name of the complex to help locate it. The TV access was not well described on how to get channels to watch. Would not stay here again.

A Nice Landing Place

My husband, sister, and I were in Kauai to run a road race and explore the island. We spent very little time in our VRBO by design. The central location of Kapa'a and the VRBO worked out great for us.We give this property five stars because it delivered exactly what we wanted and needed. Is it upscale and fancy? No. Was it well-stocked, yes. Was Sura responsive? Yes. Did it have a nice ocean setting? Yes. I appreciate that our host checked in on us but did not pester or hassle us in any way. I would recommend her and this property.

Central Location

My family had 5 free days before we meet the rest of our group in Maui. We wanted to get a small taste of Kauai. The location for this condo was really good, as it was an hour drive to the north or south. The unit was ready before check in, which was great after a long flight. The kitchen was well stocked, came with plenty of beach accessories (towels, chairs, umbrella's, etc). Several nice restaurants near by. Safeway right across the street. Definitely would recommend.

Great location! No need to rent a car unless you want to sight-see. Plenty of food options and grocery if you want to cook your own. A bike rental is perfect and the bike path is amazing!!

Excellent Place to Stay

This was everything we needed for our stay. Clean when we arrived, well equipped/appointed, and there's a nice quiet beach only a short walk away. A grocery store and some restaurants are also within easy walking distance. There is a little road noise being in the building next to the main road. It was otherwise a very quiet area during our stay. The beds are softer than average. It was great to have a small washer and dryer in the unit.

Wonderful stay

This condo was perfect for our group of three. Everything we needed or wanted was there. There were no issues. Check-in and check-out were super simple and seamless. Communication with Sura was quick and easy. It was nice to be able to walk to the shopping center and the beach. The pool was very clean. I suppose the one thing that we could have used was a couple more ice cube trays since the freezer didn't have an ice maker. Very nice condo! We had a great trip!

Sura is an amazing host. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed. The location is very convenient with grocery stores across the street and a perfect kid beach right by the complex. The bike/walk path along the beach starts very close by as well, which made it super convenient for all our needs. Mahalo!

Fun Family Getaway

We had a good time staying at this condo in Kapa'a. The location was convenient with the grocery store across the street and other conveniences nearby. However, it can be a little congested in this area, so we walked when possible. We enjoyed walking the beach and using the oceanfront pool a little, although we weren't around a lot during the day. Everything in the condo was just as the listing said, and it was clean and well-appointed, including the kitchen and beach-gear in the closet outside. It was a little tricky regulating the temperature inside, but that's a common issue in Hawaii. We were only here a couple of days before moving to another location on the island, but we would consider staying here again.

Great location and perfect stay!

Sura was an amazing host, very responsive to any questions. Location was perfect, close to everything! Quick walk to a beach at the front of the complex. There is also a second pool, game room, and very nice BBQ grills. The condo included 4 beach chairs, beach towels, an umbrella, and a small cooler which were all great to have. It was cute and exactly what we needed for our family of 4, everything is as it shows in the listing.
