Superb sea views, walking distance to the beach and Paleochora


Nestled on the south coast of the island of Crete, Krystallon Estate, is a new and unique hospitality venue, consisted of 2 separate Villas, Krystallon East (3 bedrooms) and Krystallon West (4 bedrooms), located on the hill of Panorama, the new settlement of Paleochora, a picturesque yet cosmopolitan village, at the south-western end of the prefecture of Chania, also known as the "Nymph" of the Libyan Sea. Krystallon Estate is ideal for large families or groups that want to sped their holidays together, but also have their own space and privacy when needed! The property offers amphitheatrical and unobstructed views of the Libyan Sea, Paleochora, and the mountains and it is just 1,2 km away from the lively centre of Paleochora, with its numerous tavernas, cafes and bars, which you can easily reach on foot or by bike. The nearest beach, that of Pachia Ammos, is only 1,3 km away.


Layout


Krystallon Estate covers 240m2 in total and each Villa spreads in 2 levels and can comfortably accommodate 14 guests in its combined 7 bedrooms. The minimal design, simple lines, wooden furniture (several pieces of which are handmade creations of the owners), carefully selected details, ceilings of exposed concrete and earthy coloured palette of this contemporary dwelling add a touch of elegance one would expect of a modern holiday home.


Indoors


Ground Floor


Entering on the ground floor of both Villas you are welcomed by a bright open plan space, featuring the living room and kitchen. The living area enjoys large openings directly to the pool terrace thanks to its large sliding doors, and offers wonderful sea views, as well as a comfy corner sofa. The fully equipped kitchen is complemented by beautifully crafted wooden furniture and an indoor dining area with a counter and bench, allowing you to prepare your homemade meals at ease and make the most out of your self-catered holiday.


The ground floor of Krystallon West can also be used for guests with mobility restrictions, as it features a ramp and a stair lift. There is also a specially designed bathroom on this level, as well as a bedroom. The bedroom is equipped with a 1,60 x 2,00 bed and a private balcony enjoying the views of the characteristical surrounding landscape. A laundry room with washing machine and iron facilities can also be found on this level.


Finally, at Villa Krystallon East a bathroom with shower cabin, as well as a laundry room with washing machine and iron facilities can also be found on this level.


First Floor


Ascending the internal staircase to the first floor, guests will find the 3 bedrooms inside Krystallon West and 2 bedrooms inside Krystallon East. More specifically Villa Krystallon West offers :


- A master bedroom with 1,70 x 2,00 bed, private balcony equipped with a seating area, ideal to sit and take in the stunning sea views and en-suite bathroom with natural stone washbasin and shower cabin. The master bedroom also boasts a cosy attic with a fold-out sofa bed and a beautiful window overlooking the pool and look out to the sea.


- A bedroom with a 1,80 x 2,00 bed (that can also be set up as two single beds upon request) and a private balcony equipped with a seating area, also offering superb sea vistas.


- A bedroom with a 1,60 x 2,00 bed and a private balcony enjoying awe inspiring mountain views.


- A family bathroom shared between the two bedrooms featuring a shower cabin.


Additionally, Villa Krystallon East features:
- A Master bedroom with a 1,80 x 2,00 bed, private balcony equipped with a seating area, ideal to sit and take in the stunning sea views and en-suite bathroom with stone washbasin and shower cabin.
- A bedroom with a 1,80 x 2,00 bed (that can also be set up as two single beds upon request) and a private balcony offering superb sea vistas.
- A family bathroom featuring a shower cabin.


Attic Bedroom


Villa Krystallon East also boasts a cute attic, above the first floor, with an amazing triangular window overlooking the pool and look out to the sea, offers an additional 1,60 x 2,00 bed, a cosy corner where you can just kick back and relax and forget everything else.


All bedrooms boast quality COCO-MAT mattresses, 32 smart TVs, open closets and individually controlled A/C. All linens, bathrobes and towels provided are also by COCOMAT. Nothing says total relaxation like a good nights sleep and some well deserved rest!


Outdoor area


The exterior of Krystallon Estate enjoys amazing sea views, covers 980 m2 and the outdoor facilities in both villas include:


- 2 private, 33 sq.m. swimming pools, 1,40 m deep with ladder access. The pool heating system is available for the 4-bedroom villas pool (one of the pools) with an additional daily charge. Please note that pool heating can be requested in advance only for the entire stay, with at least one weeks notice.


- Each pool area is equipped with 2 sun beds, 2 chaise longues, bean bag chairs and a poolside shower for your comfort. The outdoor areas of both Villas communicate through a door that can be opened or closed, according to your preferences. Take a refreshing dip any time of the day or just relax and catch up on your favourite book!


- Two outdoor dining areas, giving you ample opportunity to try al fresco diing.


- Free public parking space is available right outside the Villas.


- The Villas are fully fenced and has a gated entrance offering security to our guests.


Accommodation cost excludes Climate Resilience Tax. The amount for the accommodation type is set at EUR2 per night from April to October and EUR0.5 per night from November to March, payable upon check-in.


Krystallon Estate is approved by the Greek Tourism Organization & managed by "etouri vacation rental management".

Fantastico!

Loukia and Nikos are very kind and hospitable. The house is a dream that comes true. Everything you can desire there is! Position in front of the sea and you have Sunset just in front of you. You can sleep looking the moon and sea . The atmosphere is really magic the Whole day. We had special days and we loved Loukia and Niko really special people!
