Welcome to your relaxing retreat in the Ward Parkway/Waldo area of Kansas City! This 4-bed, 2-bath home is ideal for families, friends, and business trips. The home is a very convenient location with easy access to any stores or restaurants you can think of. Right next to the Waldo area of KC. We are only minutess from Price Chopper and Aldi grocery stores, CVS, Walgreens, and Starbucks.
We are only 10 minutes to the Westport, Plaza, Nelson Atkins Museum, Kansas City Art Institute, UMKC, Rockhurst and Kemper Museum.
15 minutes to downtown KC, Crown Center, Lego Land and Sea Life Aquarium and Hy-Vee arena
25-30 minutes to Worlds of Fun, Arrowhead and Royals stadiums

Ward Parkway has a wide, landscaped median, which is decorated with fountains and statuary. Many of Kansas City's finest large houses are along Ward Parkway in the Country Club District.

Waldo is a vibrant neighborhood and business district located in the heart of Kansas City. What began in 1841 as the farm of Dr. David Waldo, soon became a bustling neighborhood on the edge of the city – a town unto itself. Waldo has never lost its flavor of a fun, little family neighborhood on the edge of a big city. Today, you’ll find more than 600 businesses in Waldo, 60 percent of which are locally owned, surrounded by a family-oriented neighborhood. It’s a wonderful place to work, shop, live and play!

During your stay, you'll have full and private access to this condo are welcome to use any of the amenities provided.

This beautiful two-story home is a great space for groups and families. The first floor features two bedrooms with queen beds, along with a full kitchen, living room, dining room, and a full bathroom.

The second floor is an open-concept space with a king bed and a queen bed, a full bathroom, and a large desk, making it ideal for working from home.

Outside, enjoy the fenced-in backyard, perfect for gathering around the fire pit or sharing a meal at the picnic table. Kids will especially love the slide attached to the deck.

Driveway parking is available, with free street parking also offered for additional vehicles.

The best way to get around is driving or catching a ride with Uber or Lyft which are always readily available.

No Smoking in unit or building. (violation subject to $250 fine)

Pets are welcome for a nominal pet fee -$40 per pet. $100 per pet per month for long term stays.
Pets must be crated while unsupervised, house trained, and are not allowed on the furniture or in the beds.

No parties or gatherings.
The number of people in the unit may not exceed the guest count on the reservation unless special permission has been granted. This extends to the building amenities as well.

This was a great location in one of the great neighborhoods in Kansas City. It’s close to the Plaza, Nelson Atkins, great restaurants and cafes. The house was really clean and very comfortable.

The house was very nicely decorated and welcoming. We especially enjoyed the side porch. We knew we would be having our local family dropping by to visit during our stay. It was nice to have distinct conversation areas, living room, dining room table and side porch while the kids played in the backyard. The beds were all comfortable and the bathrooms nicely equipped. As was the kitchen well equipped. A few suggestions: the railings on the front porch are wobbly and loose. The elderly family members depend on the hand rails for security up the stairs. The stairs coming down from the second floor Need a sign over the doorway to warn it is a short doorway. Duck! My husband and daughter really smacked their head the first time down the stairs. The chairs with the bistro table on the back deck are broken and totally unsafe to sit on especially for a kid that would climb up. It would be nice to have a couple of folding chairs on that deck also. Also, it would be helpful to have more instructions as to operating the tv and a chart of local stations. But we were busy and didn’t watch much tv. All and all , yes , we would stay there again . Hopefully the safety items mentioned above would be addressed. Thank you.

Sadly, unable to stay

This property seemed great & was in a wonderful neighborhood. Was as listed & pet friendly, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, we were unable to stay. There was some sort of plumbing issue in the basement that resulted in raw sewage & an awful smell. The owner did have a plumber out, but a clean up team couldn't come until the next morning. We were offered a free night, but didn't feel comfortable staying. A full refund was given & the owner was very understanding of our decision. It's a wonderful property & unfortunate this happened. I would recommend as I'm sure this was not a regular occurrence. The property is just a few blocks from Ward Parkway with the mansions and fountains. Beautiful area!

Cute property not too far from chiefs stadium

We really enjoyed this property and if the weather was nicer it really has cute outdoor spaces! Parking was nice … you can pull out of the road and the neighborhood around it had some cute stores and a nice bakery :) we would definitely stay with this property again!!!

Overall Satisfactory! A few suggestions.

We stayed to attend the funeral of our family matriarch. The check in/out and communication was excellent! Supplies were stocked. Only issue was with cleanliness of the upstairs bathroom, the shower drain was clogged with unsightly hairs and drained poorly. While the sink drain was also not recently cleaned and faucet water pressure was quite low. These few issues did not impead our trip and we deeply appreciate the communication of the owner and gifting of the space. Thank you.

Cute house

This was a cute home. There isn’t a door between the queen and the king upstairs but it wasn’t an issue. The queen is tucked around a corner to give some privacy. Only small issue is we had 6 people in the house and there were not enough towels. Just to give future renters the heads up. Other than that it was a perfect fit for our needs.

Very nice place just needs a couple things.

This was a very nice house. It was a family weekend so things we really appreciated were the high chair, pack and play, kids books, and the back deck with slide and toys for children. I would have loved to give this property 5 stars but there are just a couple things we couldnt help but mention need improved. There was no kitchen towels which was not helpful to us since we cooked in the kitchen and were washing dishes. There was no remote for the tv in the back bedroom so we had to make do and share a remote between the living room and back room. We also would have liked slightly more substantial toilet paper. It was so thin it was see through. The house was in a nice neighborhood not far from restaurants and attractions though unfortunately next door to one and maybe the only bad looking shabby houses on the street. It did not bother us but its worth mentioning. Also worth mentioning is the host was very helpful. They checked in on us and responded fairly timely despite an issue with their system. When we checked in. Overall we really enjoyed our time there despite those couple of minor issues.
