"The property location and gardens stunning amongst the hills, but 4-5km from town. Rooms were really lovely and most staff friendly. However for the price of the property and what they offer leaves a lot to be desired. Thought the buffet was just very average, service on drinks very slow( or they’d even forget) One bottle of water in your room and if you wanted anymore you had to purchase. "Hotel is not in Kandy and just a few local shops and restaurants are found on the street and all close very early. Pool did not look inviting due to the water colour not looking clean or fresh. Rooms were very musty and didn't feel fresh. Service from the manager and from eaiter Brian imporved our stay."
