Mercure Penang Beach
We had a great stay at this beautiful hotel. The pool was shaded and cool even in March's heat wave! The breakfast buffet had everything we could want, and more.

The Landmark by Katana
It’s a fairly good location but unfortunately the place is really run down. It’s in desperate need of basic repairs, a coat of paint and some decent bedding. WiFi is so poor that some days it’s non existent.

Old furnishing, sofa, bedding and towels etc were sparse and looked very worn out. The apartment was not clean and floor was sticky we had to wear footwear during the stay. This hotel has many serious issues. The room and common areas had an unpleasant smell. The bath towels, pillows, and bedsheets were dirty and did not appear properly cleaned. Carpet is bad and dirty.
