"Friendly staff"

"The price and the condition of the hotel doesnt match. Really need a major renovation. Asking for a king bed but end up being sent to two single bed. Didnt notify upfront. Furthermore i was there the whole time while waiting for check in at 3 pm but the guy at the front counter didnt tell me upfront that i have to give a deposit of Rm 100 in cash. The walkway was dirty and filthy. I can get a better place if im at the other place. Not recommended"

"The Bedrock Hotel is a one-of-a-kind place: quirkily but tastefully decorated with wonderful management. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. Debbie helped me arrange a tour to the Cameron Highlands and transport to the train station. I'd highly recommend the Bedrock, and I'll stay there the next time I visit Ipoh, a little gem of a town that's not yet spoiled by an onslaught of tourists."

Poorly designed entrance: The main entrance faces sideways rather than the street and is beside a clothing store with mannequins, making it easy to mistake the entrance as part of the shop. As a first-time guest, I was unsure how to enter, and no staff were nearby to assist. 2. Potential safety hazards: The wooden floorboards in the lobby and corridors were uneven. Several boards outside my parents’ room were loose, with one nail visibly...

"at the check in , 1. reception unable to find my booking . it take her a while to find it. only has one staff attending to one big grp check in Hotel room 1. House cleaning - checked in with room no towel n toilet roll. 2. Internet connection - not working at all despite inform the reception 3. Aircon started to leaked at 2nd night ( room 110) "

"It is a very convenient location and affordable. It would be nice to see a new coat of paint of the hotel rooms and replace the carpet with laminate wood floor which make the room more appealing to stay and keep clean."

"Staff there quite friendly but the hotel is a bit old and limited facilities and electrical appliances. No fridge and no lift. Not convenient if you caring a lot of luggage. "
