Inviting summer house on scenic Røsnæs

Welcome to our Summer House in Røsnæs 🏡☀️

The summer house was built in 2003 and is full of charm and coziness. The heart of the house is the bright and spacious living room with vaulted ceilings, large windows, and access to a small loft. There is plenty of room here for both relaxation and shared meals. The living room is furnished with a dining table, sofa, and a comfortable armchair.



The house has two bedrooms. One is furnished with a double bed, while the other has two single beds.



The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking—in addition to plenty of tableware, there is also a dishwasher, a coffee machine, and a stand mixer.



Outside, you will find a lovely terrace with both a gas grill and a cozy outdoor dining area with a table and six chairs—perfect for summer evenings with good food and a relaxed atmosphere. During the winter, the furniture is covered by a tarp, as seen in the pictures, but the gas grill can still be used.



In the colder months, the wood-burning stove or the fan heater ensures you can easily stay warm and create a cozy atmosphere after a long day out in nature.



The Area 🏖

The summer house is located in Røsnæs Strandpark—a small, quiet holiday home area on the northern side of the peninsula. Here, you are a short distance from nature, water, and pleasant local experiences. There is a Min Købmand (local grocery store) a few minutes' drive from the summer house, and there are also many shopping opportunities in Kalundborg.



The summer house is only 350 meters from a charming beach. In the summer, you can swim from the bathing jetty or use the nearby football fields, while the winter offers quiet walks along the water and beautiful viewpoints from the benches along the coast.



Røsnæs offers many experiences:



- A short drive from the house is Røsnæs Lighthouse, where you can buy an ice cream, climb the tower, and enjoy a breathtaking view of the water and the landscape.



- Kalundborg Golf Club has an 18-hole course just a 5-minute drive from the house.



- The Røsnæs Rundt hiking route takes you around Røsnæs, and the path runs right near the summer house, making it easy to "step onto" the route.



- Røsnæs is home to the 5 largest wineries in Denmark, several of which offer tastings of top-class Danish wine.



- Røsnæs is part of Denmark's Nature Canon (Naturkanon) alongside places like Råbjerg Mile and Møns Klint. The justification from the Nature Agency is as follows: "Once you have been here, you know that it is not at all necessary to travel south or north of the country's borders to find your zen in nature. Røsnæs offers overwhelming and quite dramatic nature."



- Furthermore, it is possible to experience wild horses, catch sea trout from the coast, and much, much more.



About Us 👫

We are a couple based in Copenhagen. We love going to the summer house when we need to escape the pace of the city and get out into nature and tranquility. Emil has visited Røsnæs since childhood, so it felt natural for us to find our own place right here.
