Kahana Villa E601 is a beautifully decorated 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom 6-th floor condo that sleeps up to 4 guests. Located in the quiet town of Kahana, situated between Kaanapali and Kapalua. Walking distance to great local eateries: Dollies Pub & Cafe, Miso Phat Sushi, and Capt. Jack's Island Grill. Just around the corner from Hawaiian Village Coffee.

BEACHES & CRITTERS: The beach size in Hawaii varies month to month due to weather, heavy surf, strong currents, and tides. Due to Maui's rural setting, you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don't kill them. Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Maui is in a tropical climate. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.

Easy process to get into condo, communication was good, clean well decorated condo. They thought of everything to make a tourist comfortable and enjoy vacation to beach chairs , to the fan in the bedroom for white noice. It does have noise from the highway behind, but they have done all that they can to make an enjoyable stay! The resort has very nice pool and grill and great parking.

This was a nice property however the unit was Right next to the my very loud highway. Unfortunately, below the patio with the partial ocean view there are neighbors with neglected, caged, and cruelly mistreated dogs. The dogs cry And howl daily kept caged and not let out living right below the balcony. It was very hard to enjoy wit the animals.

Easy going, great location

We came for a little relaxation and got it. The bed is an actual king bed (sometimes this is misrepresented but not in this case) and comfortable. I liked that it was at the end - we aren't AC people and like to keep the door open for the cross breeze - no one walked by. Now, we never acclimated from our timezone so we were up early everyday anyway but you can hear the highway noise starting at about 6:30 am and picking up through the morning but once your up you don't really notice anything. The views are nice, the beach is literally across the street. The busses run like clockwork and you are 2 minutes from the closest stop. The staff send texts regularly to ensure you have what you need. Very helpful, but you could opt out if you want. Would stay here again, would recommend for two people.

Can't go wrong with Kahana Villa

Beautiful property, just a very short walk across the street to a peaceful beach with a beautiful view of Molokai and Lanai. Very relaxing to spend the day on the beach swimming, snorkeling, turtle watching. The pool and hot tub are wonderful as well. The unit was clean, the furniture was fairly comfortable, and the AC provided a comfortable temperature in living room/kitchen area. The view from the lanai is nice. The bathroom is nicely updated. The bed is comfortable; however, the bedroom is very small with little to no room for even one full-sized suitcase. In addition to using the ceiling fan and oscillating floor fan, it is recommended to open windows at night to allow winds to cool the bedroom, but surprisingly there is quite a bit of nearby traffic at all hours of the night which creates a lot of road noise, even with the windows closed. For that reason, it would be a nice idea for the unit to have AC for the bedroom. Overall it is a comfortable stay for two people, maybe a bit crowded for four, but doable if you can be crafty about space.

The condo was wonderful! Clean, updated and comfortable. Perfect for our needs. The views from the lanai were spectacular!! Huge TV with outstanding cable service. We got more channels than we thought were possible. Plenty of towels (we did wash the towels once during our 3 week stay.) There is a great swimming cove just down the road. We saw turtles swimming in waist deep water on several occasions. The Villas had plenty of parking and a lovely pool area.Our only complaints would be the traffic noise at night. This unit could really use double paned windows in the bedroom. And the other comment would be to add towel hooks to the bathroom door to hang damp bath towels. We had a fantastic vacation during our time staying at Kahana Villas!!!

Kahana Villa’s Stay

Well appointed and decorated condo with great ocean view. Loved watching the sunsets from the lanai. Wish the air conditioner was quieter. Other than that it is a great place to stay on Maui. Will return again next year.

Very nice condo, but way too noisy.

Very nice condo, but way too noisy as it’s adjacent to highway. Louver windows were not sound proof, and made it seem like the cars were driving right through master bedroom. Good points condo clean, nice furnishings. Nice kitchen. Washer dryer. Easy parking. Good earplugs necessary.

Nice rental property

Overall the property was as advertised. Only thing we didn’t like is the proximity to a busy street and that only A/C in the living room which is at the opposite end of the unit as the bedroom. So the bedroom didn’t get much air.

Beautiful place excellent location

The place was beautiful… open and bright. Having an end unit up high with a view was wonderful. The location was also perfect. Less than a 15 minute drive to restaurants, shopping. The only disappointment was that we left something behind and no one has ever called us back for us to get it returned. Two calls were made. It wasn’t something expensive but it was something that was memorable to one of my kids.

The property was a nice 3 star condominium, easy to find and good parking. The problem is the condo backs up to Hwy 30. All day and night there was loud traffic. We won't rent this place again

Good value for the price

Positives: The property is in a good location, nicely-decorated, and reasonably-priced. It was quite comfortable for one or two people. There is a great coffee shop nearby, and very good sushi within an easy walk. Plenty of free nearby parking, and a washer-dryer in the unit. If you are comfortable with the road noise from Highway 30, you might be able to go without air conditioning, but if you do need cooling there is a window air conditioner in the living room (unfortunately, doesn't help in the bedroom). Drawbacks: Ceiling fans are not very effective, so if the trade winds are quiet you'll probably have to resort to the A/C. The windows are not air-tight and they do not help much with road noise. Screens don't fit tightly either; be sure to follow Management's advice to keep your trash cleared out. There is very little storage, and no dresser in the bedroom. But there are drawers in the television stand, which could be used for things that don't need to be near the bed or bathrooms. .

A beautiful unit in a wonderful complex

This unit is beautiful. Tile throughout, so no worries about cleaning up sand or food after a day at the beach. Beds were comfortable, and the view was perfect for the sunset. Only concern was this unit is right next to the highway so there is some heavy traffic noise if you try to open the windows at night. Overall wonderful stay and we very much enjoyed our time.
