Be assured the comfort of a home waits your stay at our beautifully completely renovated 9th floor, exceptionally clean, central air conditioned one bedroom, one bath oceanfront condo. A perfect choice for honeymooners, couples or small families seeking luxury accommodations for that perfect tropical getaway. Relax on the private lanai overlooking the ocean and the island of Molokai across the ocean channel. Hear the ocean waves break against the shoreline. Watch the sea turtles, dolphins and humpbacks (November through April) at play. Kite boarders, sail boarders, paddle boarders and surfers commonly gather in the bay fronting the resort. Centrally located between Kapalua Bay and Kaanapali Beach, known for golf, nightlife, shopping & dining. Hawaii Magazine, readers voted the Royal Kahana Resort as a top 10 "Best Choice for Longer Term Vacations" on Maui. Take that short walk to any one of six restaurants. David and Nancy's condo at The Royal Kahana is truly 5 star exceptional! Communication with the owner was always prompt and friendly.We have never stayed in West Maui, and we are glad we did. The location is excellent, off to the harbor for our whale watching tour and Maui Ocean Center was an easy, approximately 30-minute or so drive. We were able to see sea turtles close to shore and whales in the distance from the lanai. All the pictures in the description are accurate. Upon entering the unit, we were pleasantly surprised not only with the nice, clean and comfortable decor but also with the beautiful, awesome view of the ocean from the living room sliders and lanai. The views from bedroom windows are also very nice. I love to hear the sounds of the ocean waves , but I also appreciate the option to block out that sort of background noise if it gets to be too much; so closing all the windows and doors will do exactly that, its very quiet if that's what you desire.There is AC in the unit, but we never had to turn it on. By opening the windows or slider, it keeps the condo a very nice and comfortable temperature with the fresh breezes coming through. Parking costs 18 a day, paid upon check-in to the resort front desk. This seems to be the standard for many of the condo resorts. We never had a problem finding a parking spot.This condo and it's location is excellent! Mahalo, David and Nancy we had a wonderful time! All the best to youJerry and Nadine

We absolutely loved our stay here! The location was unbeatable. The condo is oceanfront in Maui with prime views of both sunrise and sunset. We even caught a rainbow and watched turtles swimming right from our lanai. The beautiful location made every morning and evening magical.The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, extremely well-stocked, and equipped with great appliances. The AC worked perfectly, and there were also extra fans available for when we wanted additional airflow. We appreciated all the thoughtful touches. There were lots of hangers, closet and drawer space, plenty of pillows, extra linens, and a washer/dryer that made our stay even more comfortable.The pool was wonderful, and we met such kind and friendly people there as well as other VRBO guests. The welcoming atmosphere really made it feel like a community. But there was peace and quiet when we didn’t feel like talking.Every day we woke up happy in this place. Between the gorgeous views, the comfort of the apartment, and the prime location, this was the perfect Maui getaway. The owners are amazing and their professional yet friendly communication gave us confidence in where we were staying.We were staying at this condo during the tropical storm after hurricane Kiko and even though it was occasionally overcast, each day while we were there was sunny and warm in this location. It is a gem and we look forward to going back.

We loved the property! Very clean and had everything we could possibly need. Owners have literally thought of everything! They were even generous in accommodating us with a late check out. We loved the lanai and eating out there each day watching the waves crash in! The king bed was so comfortable with high quality sheets…we slept SO good! Our 17 year old was on the pull out couch and it was fine for a kid/young adult. The body boards and beach chairs came in handy!

We could’ve spent the whole week on the deck looking out over the water at Moloka’i! Very laid back resort, great for just relaxing. Only the sounds of maintenance and landscape workers during the morning/early afternoon hours to contend. Easy access by car to all the goings-on from Lahaina to Kapalua. We’ll be coming back!

This property is even better then described. We were able to watch Whales and Sea turtles from the balcony and the best sunset view. Beach chairs and coolers and such are there along with beach towels. They literally have thought of everything.

The perfect location—the Royal Kahana is a welcome relief from the big resort hotels.

We were mostly pleased with this property. Certainly the view from the lanai was spectacular. The bedding and all furnishings were lovely and very comfortable. The clever walk-through closet allowed ample storage for hanging clothes and allows for privacy in dressing and accessing the bathroom. As a party of 3 we would have appreciated more shelf or drawer storage area in the living room, although there was ample drawer space to share in the bedroom. The kitchen was extremely well supplied for all of our—or anyone’s—needs. Some of the kitchen cupboards were locked. We would have appreciated an extra cupboard for storage of groceries. The owners were extremely helpful with information, and even had the cleaning crew alerted to look for a lost item we noticed after checking out. That was very much appreciated. We highly recommend this rental property.

We loved our stay at Royal Kahana 907! Everything was pretty much as stated in the other reviews! Owners were very responsive and easy to work with from start to finish, making up for whatever lacked. If being honest, the cleaning could have been a little better but honestly the condo being so well stocked made up for it- they really thought of everything! We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Lovely Location and Condo

Loved this condo for its ocean view and sound of the surf. Quiet location away from the road with a really well equipped kitchen and walking access to a lovely happy hour restaurant on the beach at an adjacent hotel. Lanai is shady all day making it cool in the condo without need for air conditioning.Would definitely come again!W except at night

A perfect week for us in Maui

My husband and I have stayed at the Royal Kahana 3 previous times in different condos each time and at different times in the year. We both agreed that this one bedroom was the best one yet. The condo was clean, had decent upgrades and appliances. The kitchen had everything needed to stay the week and just buy our groceries. The closet had chairs, umbrella, boogie boards and coolers for our beach time. The real perk here was the comfortable bed. It was unexpected that the bed would be as comfortable as our own at home and it really makes a difference when you're staying somewhere else. David and Nancy checked in with us before, during and at the end of our stay. We loved our stay for the week and will definitely plan to stay here again.
