The quiet surroundings and manicured tropical gardens at the Mahana at Kaanapali offer guests a wonderful sense of privacy yet all the exciting activities of Kaanapali Beach are close by. The resort is located in the central and convenient Honokowai area on Maui's west side. A private gate from The Mahana provides easy access to the boardwalk that goes for miles and eventually leads to the Kaanapali Beach resort area. Take a short walk on the boardwalk or the beach to Duke's restaurant next door or to one of the nearby resorts for fine dining and entertainment.

The location is amazing ! Grounds and jungle type entry was magical. The view from the 7th floor was our absolute favorite ! While we were there for our 2 weeks stay we got to see Honu, Whales and beautiful sunsets daily from our lanai . The Unit was clean and comfortable and owner was responsive. Special touch with island treats and coffee.

The host was very responsive, helpful and precise. The apartment was well appointed - everything was very thoughtful. Views are unparallel and we enjoyed our Lanai - the turtles arrived to greet us everyday and every time we went to the Lanai. One day two turtles came out of the ocean to catch some sun and we were able to capture unique memories with pictures. Absolutely amazing stay and kudos to the property management team - they are the best (and we travel a lot!)

Paradise!

Amazing location & view! Place offered everything we needed and more!

My husband and I stayed at this property for our babymoon. The room was clean and spacious! Kitchen was stocked with all the essentials and the building itself provided us with extra beach towels, bbq, pool and hot tub which was an added bonus. You can’t beat the location and view. We were whale watching every day from our balcony and saw turtles hanging out by the beach daily. Thanks to the host our stay was magical!

Loved it

If you're hesitant about booking don't be. Amazing views. It's the closest condo to the water and is parallel to the water not perpendicular like some. Waves sounded amazing, sunsets were amazing, and the whale watching amazing as well. Never a fight to get a chair and parking was easy. Maybe some better balcony furniture? Very quick to respond to any needs.

Amazing view

Our stay was wonderful. The balcony is right on the water with what I believe has to be one of the best views on the island. Room was as listed. Beach was nice for being right outside the property but was a bit rocky however great for snorkeling as we saw multiple sea turtles. Would definitely stay again

Beautiful property ! We had a wonderful time

This was our first stay at Mahana and we will definitely be back. The condo was well appointed, clean and had everything we needed. The views were gorgeous. We were aware that the air conditioning was being worked on the week we were there and we really would have appreciated a portable unit in the condo to keep things cool while we were there like our relatives had in another unit on property.. It was very hot and the fans were helping, but it was still very uncomfortable..we made the best of it and still had a wonderful time

Best view we’ve ever had!

We were continually in awe over the view from our lanai! Check in was easy. Studio has been nicely updated and the kitchen and laundry are huge amenities. The property is well-maintained and the access to the boardwalk through the private gate is key. My primary suggestion is that the lanai furniture be upgraded. The view is the biggest selling point of this studio, and we spent tons of time on it (loved the clear view to the ocean rather than bars in our way as so many properties have) yet the lanai furniture is plastic, has no cushions and the chairs have plastic slats rather than being made from mesh so you feel like you’re slipping through them while seated. I strongly suggest adding an ottoman as well so that the amount of time spent on the lanai is more comfortable allowing you to put your feet up. Our lanai table was wobbly so we had to put a piece of cardboard under one leg. I see this cheaper outdoor furniture as the primary downside of the property. All of the chairs around the pool and along the grass area are the same kind of plastic slatted furniture, and I think it all needs to be upgraded to mesh. I also understand that this is a 3-star property so you get a better price and that means the furniture isn’t as nice as the other resorts we’ve stayed in that were more expensive. Fair enough! Great value for the price at Mahana! Thank you for your hospitality!

Great stay on the beach

Had a fantastic stay at the Mahana for our vacation. The studio was nice and clean and had all the amenities as described. Maui Paradise Properties was very communicative and always got back to us efficiently about any questions we had. The AC was not working in the Lanai tower, so they offered alternative locations to stay versus discount to stay at the Mahana, which was much appreciated. Overall, would be happy to stay here again.

Beauitful !!!

The bath room could have been bigger but that was the only thing that wasnt great about our room . Quite , clean and open your sliding door and there's the Ocean , you can hear the waves as they put you to sleep at night ! I would recommend this unit for 2 people for your next stay
