"I think lake view lodge is the most significant lodge in Lee Vining with its history and the beautiful setting among other hotel/motels. Really loved the garden on site and Basin cafe, we stayed one night, and had dinner breakfast and lunch at Basin cafe the food is huge quantity with good quality. We will come back if visit Lee Vining again !"

"I booked this hotel room for two nights for the 4th of July weekend. When we arrived there was not anyone at the front desk and nobody would answer the phone. "While the room was clean, the hotel is u dergoing renovations. Our room was missing the trim around the window. The pool and spa were closed. No where in the listing on Expedia did it mention this was occurring. Was disappointed as the hot tub would have been nice for my husband who is hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. It was one of the reasons I chose it. Also, the hot items for breakfast were not ready at 6:30 am."

"The room was cozy and clean. I could tell there were recently upgrades to the room like fresh paint. The bed could use a new mattress but not horrible. My only other suggestion would be hooks in the bathroom to hang wet towels. But all in all I really enboyed my stay and will book there again. They were very accommodating as far as my request for a downstairs unit."

"Our stay at Sierra House was great. We were visiting over the July 4th holiday and stayed in their new buildings. The forest view was stunning from the top floor and the rooms were brand new, clean and very tastefully decorated. "They have a balcony really good for star gazing. Other than the body wash bottle not working and poor sound isolation, eveything is good. Overall good experience."

"The staff was very welcoming and extra helpful. The room was nice and clean and parking was accessible even for trucks that don't clear their enclosed parking lot. The breakfast was amazing, especially their waffle maker and included with our stay. Overall, our stay here was 10/10. Would gladly stay here again."
