Step outside and you’ll discover that the property is just as inviting as the home itself. Amazing property, feels like being home. Nothing is missing from the house. From entertainment, spaces, comforts, and even every single tool for cooking. Second time staying here and would happily do it again!

This was our second stay here for a small reunion of family and friends. Just as magnificent as our first stay, if not better. The place is so well appointed and home-y because they have thought of everything. Family style meals with a well appointed kitchen are a breeze. The hot tub, sauna, pool table, shuffleboard, and lovely grounds keep everyone happy and individually satisfied. We found it difficult to leave for our daily outings because the experience of being there day and night is so pleasant. Many, many thanks. See you next time.

Back Again

We stayed here during the summer and liked it so much we wanted to come back in the winter/spring. It was just as wonderful! We loved the fireplace and we were able to use it since it had just snowed and was chilly outside.

Perfect family getaway

We are a family of 4 adults and we brought our dog. It was perfect! The house is charming and well stocked and met all our needs. Our dog LOVED the huge yard and we had perfect weather. The house is an easy 5 minute drive to town but we rarely left the house as we cooked and enjoyed the fire We did puzzles, watched movies and played games. The Roost game room was so cool! We didn’t spend too much time there but probably would have if we stayed longer.

Relaxing Retreat

The Farmhouse is truly a very special place! We really enjoyed all the special touches the owners have put into this adorable home and all the wonderful extras that were part of it. We enjoyed using the sauna, the jacuzzi, playing darts, horseshoes and exploring the 2 acres of land along with our dog. The Farmhouse is truly a very unique and special place and we are so happy we were able to stay in this wonderful, scenic and well kept home. This farmhouse in Julian was as-advertised. Very cozy and comfortable inside, with lots of games both in the house and the out-building, and a well-appointed kitchen. If you have dogs, the property is great for them to run around. Owners were friendly and prompt in communication.

Everything about our stay was wonderful! The house is beautiful, comfortable, and well stocked! The property is equally beautiful, and as much as we enjoyed sitting outside and listening to the birds, our dogs enjoyed it even more. Beyond Unbelievable!!!!!

We cannot say enough about The Farmhouse. We stay here every year before Christmas. It has become a holiday tradition that the entire family looks forward to all year. The house is extremely inviting and very comfortable. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. They go above and beyond to ensure that their guests are comfortable and thoroughly enjoy their stay. The house is very tastefully done up with antiques and makes you feel right at home in the small mountain community. The lot is large, wooded, and private. We cannot say enough about the location, the house, the hosts. The Farmhouse is truly one in a million!!!!!!!!!
