Julian 1927 Histórico Cabin Retreat - 'Burgio Bungalow'

Ubicado en Pine Hills de Julian, esta cabaña de cedro decoración única fue construida en 1927 y ha sido presentado en el Julian Home Tour de Navidad. Mi cabina se alquila como 5 dormitorios y 2 baños si se solicita. Se pueden alquilar el 6º dormitorio y el 3º baño por un costo adicional. La tarifa básica por noche es para dos personas. Cada invitado adicional es de $ 50 por persona por noche. Las tarifas de vacaciones son adicionales por favor consultar con el propietario. Tanto si desea una escapada romántica tranquila para dos o una reunión de doce años para los días de fiesta, los cumpleaños, los clubes de lectura, retiros de negocios, incluso pequeñas bodas Burgio Bungalow está equipado para su estancia. Desde ver estrellas fugaces en el piso superior, en el billar con sus amigos, sentado junto a la estufa de barriga o asar malvaviscos en frente de ella es la chimenea de piedra original de esta cabaña le permitirá relajarse en un entorno natural tranquilo. We had an outstanding Thanksgiving at the Burgio Bungalow. The home is generously stocked with everything you need for the kitchen, plenty of cozy and comfortable seating, and a pot belly stove to warm the entire room. The pictures do not really convey how amazing the place is. There are no bathroom photos, but the bathrooms are beautiful. The outside space is wonderful with awesome views. We saw deer everyday, turkeys, raccoons, and a red headed woodpecker! We were able to relax and enjoy each other, both inside and out. We want to come back. Thank you Paul.

Quiet and peaceful retreat

I decided at the last minute to get away for four days to a VERY quiet place because my sweet, calm dog is terrified of fireworks: he trembled all night. Medicine from the vet last year didn’t help much at all. We didn’t hear a single firework at the Bungalow. It’s such a unique place; so much of the history has been carefully preserved. The great room is HUGE. Many large couches, lots of sitting chairs, several tables for generations of families or large groups. All modern kitchen appliances, totally stocked with cookware & utensils for LOTS of cooking. You’ll never find another place like this with original, historic wood construction. I stayed during a hot spell, used the downstairs AC during the day & opened windows at night. I loved this place. The host was great.

Cozy Cabin

The cabin is very nicely decorated and the host started the potbelly fireplace before we arrived which was very nice. Unfortunately, we arrived to a leak in the downstairs bathroom and there was a puddle on the floor. We were unable to use that bathtub during our stay which was somewhat inconvenient since there were 8 of us. The host agreed to credit one of the pet fees because of the inconvenience of the downstairs bathtubs. We worked around it and made the best of it. The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, pots & pans as well as spices. the house is very spacious, and it stayed warm during the night. We didn't even have to use the wall heaters or electric blankets. We had a good time.

Quiet 4th of July!

We booked this location especially because it was dog friendly. We absolutely loved it and it exceeded our expectations. Paul was great and called the day we got there to make sure we didn’t have any questions and to let us know specifics. Such a quiet and relaxing area, the cabin is also very fun with all the little details. It was a pretty hot weekend, and the beds still had the winter flannel sheets, but other than that it was perfect.

Beautiful location!

This property was great for our family gathering to celebrate our father's 90th birthday. The location was perfect to easily get to the town of Julian & many hiking trails. The house was beautiful and full of fun decorations. It was more than large enough to accommodate us for family dinners inside and out. The view is awesome and the neighborhood is nice and quiet!

What an amazing place! Just wish we had planned longer, but we are already planning our next stay. Very cozy and it has all of the amenities. Owner is very easy to communicate with. Such a great reset from our daily grind.

Paradise in Nature Cabin

Wow!!!, what an amazing experience we had. This cabin has everything, soap, shampoo, towels, blankets for our convenience and the kitchen is well equipped with all of your extra spices, coffee, tea, creamers, oil etc…very roomy, so many nooks for everyone to just sit and relax. Exceeded Expectations

The living area and kitchen are much more spacious than they seem in the pictures. It's like a lodge with lots of comfortable seats and hanging out areas. The outside area by the jacuzzi and upstairs deck have beautiful views. The jacuzzi is great. The house managed to stay fairly cool in 90 degree weather and all the bedrooms have overhead fans and there are a couple portable fans. It's a very quiet and peaceful place, lots of birds and lovely wind chimes. The craftsmanship of the house inside and out is incredible- really something to see! We had a great time here in Julian reconnecting with family.

We loved staying at this spacious and interesting cabin in Julian. So memorable in so many ways. Great valley mountain views, lovely outdoor entertaining area. We rented all 6 bedrooms. One bedroom and bath were on the main floor--great for grandma! We enjoyed Paul's eclectic collections and well-stocked kitchen. Every aspect of this experience was easy, fun, and unforgettable.

Huge, Lovely Cabin

There are a ton of great places to hang out in, in and outside of this cabin. The views of the entire valley from the back side of the property are amazing! My whole family loved the cabin and the whole weekend. There are some great hikes nearby also. We went hiking at Vulcan Mountain, and that was fun too.

Cozy Cottage

We fell in love with the Burgio Bungalow from the moment we set foot inside. The pictures are amazing but the feeling you get when you enter is breathtaking. Paul was in constant communication with us. He arrived early to get a fire going for us as well as the jacuzzi warming. Remarkable home. Our entire family did not want to leave. It was our first time visiting Julien. When most think of Julien they think of the apples, cider, etc. For us now, and forever will the The Burgio Bungalow. Thank you so much for the gift. It warmed our hearts being here. We cannot wait to make another trip out that way again in the future.

Cabin Magic!

We enjoyed another fabulous stay at this wonderful cabin! There is so much space available, but the cabin still has such a welcoming cozy vibe. It's a perfect place for games, movies, cooking, relaxing, and enjoying nature ... super close to town as well!
