"Even though we only had 1 night here we really had a great stay at this resort. It was nice to sit on the balcony during the time we were here which gave us a beautiful view of the fjord. The apartment had everything we needed and there was a nice restaurant just by the resort . Next time we would like to stay here longer"

"Highly recommend - it was the most beautiful place we stayed at during our Norway visit. Our property was right on the Oppstrynsvatnet lake. The house was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and had all amenities - full kitchen, dining, iron, hair dryer. The house also had an in-house sauna in addition to a Panaroma sauna on the property. This was not clearly written in the description. Also you had to buy a token to take a 5 min shower which I was not aware of based on the description. "

"My family and I loved our stay at Lyngmo Hytter. The cabin we stayed in was cozy, and had a great view of the surrounding lake. The staff were friendly and helpful upon check-in and check-out, making the process stress-free. The shared washroom facility was clean and well stocked with supplies. The buffet breakfast had a wide selection, with excellent quality local food staples. I would definitely come back and stay for longer to thoroughly explore the surrounding area."

"Cruise ships were parked in front of hotel most of the time. So instead of seeing the fjords, you see a cruise ship. The ship left at 9pm but another was back at 630 am. Difficult to find where to check in. When asking employees where to check in they snapped “reception “ and were very annoyed I didn’t know where that was. There is no place to park when checking in. "Driving into Hjelle through the lakeside tunnel was magical. This repurposed schoolhouse was a fantastic place to experience old-world Norwegian living. Loved the nook beds and touches of history. The modern bath and kitchen were integrated well. The property manager was kind and helpful - he let us know when the early snowfall unexpectedly closed down the mountain pass. Was a great site to just relax and enjoy!"
