Hill top view stay- 9 mins from JTNP! Hottub-Game room-Firepit-Cowboy pool

  • Bring your whole family and pets to your home away from home in the desert. Located right up the street from JT Saloon and only 9 mins from the Joshua Tree Nation Park.
    This home is enclosed with a fence around the whole property so you know your pets and small children are safe to roam around. In the front yard you will find a Cowboy Pool, which is big enough for nine people and a hot tub, which fits four people. The back yard has two hammocks perfect for star gazing and an outdoor shower to keep cool. Enjoy the lower part of the backyard keeping warm by the fire. The garage has been transformed into a game room, which has a pool/ping pong table, a 65'' screen tv, a dart board and some game boards. It also has some exercising equipment and a washer and dryer. The side of the house has a gated area, which can be used as a dog run.

    You will have access to the whole house.

We had a very pleasant stay at this property. Nothing extravagant, but accurately represented in listing photos. Kids LOVED the game room - want us to put one in now! Dogs enjoyed the fully fenced in yard. Our little dog patrolled the entire perimeter every time she went outside. :) If you have kids and dogs and want to visit Joshua Tree, highly recommend this place!!

House was very clean and the kitchen well stocked - even had a full spice rack. Game room was nice to have when the afternoon sun got too hot for hiking. Host was communicative and helpful!

Lovely stay! Was equipped with all the necessities and more. Great location as well, 5 minutes from downtown and 10 minutes to the park entrance. Game room was sooooo fun. Host was quick to answer any and all questions!

This was a great place to stay. Great location. Super close to JNP entrance and to town. Very quiet, great star views, clean and had great amenities including the game room which added some fun in the evening. We totally enjoyed the hot tub as well. What a great amenity to have. I am very chemically sensitive and spoke with Kara about the cleaner scents which we remedied. Otherwise all was fantastic.
Added bonus was the view of sunrise as I walked out of the house for JNP in the early morning.

This is a very nice, clean, and fairly budget- friendly rental. Well appointed with amenities from kitchen to game room to backyard (nice fire pit). Decent neighborhood and great location for activities in Joshua Tree, Pioneertown, and Palm Springs

The host was wonderful, everything was exactly as promised, and the space was so close to everything we needed to be close to. Great spot for a quiet friends writing get-away like I did, but also set up for the best family trip to Joshua Tree with that awesome game room! Our only note is that the AC in each room was a bit loud at night while trying to sleep, but otherwise it was a great little spot.

The home and rooms were cleaned well upon arrival. Excellent communication with host before and durning our stay. We did not utilize the hot tub or pool offered on site but they were clean and looked very nice. Kitchen was well stocked with necessities one would need. Overall the home worked out perfect for my lady and I. It was inviting, comfortable and spacious enough for us. Located in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Entire fenced property, very secure. Would highly recommend the home and the host is excellent as well. We will choose this place again. Five stars

If you want a place with a fun game room and an awesome separate area with a fire pit, this is the place. The house is well-equipped with everything you need and organized. Restrooms are a bit outdated, but are just as shown in the pictures. I didn't give 5 stars for cleanliness because I am very particular, and the restroom cleanliness and mats were not to my standard.

I truly appreciated the fenced in yard. Communication with the owner was excellent. From my own experience, I understand weeds can get out of control, but they were 3 ft high, so it made lounging in the hammock or in the yard uncomfortable. Personally I do wish there was a bit more privacy created for the hot tub since it’s in the front yard.

The game room was a hit!

We stayed for three nights with our 16, 14, and 10 year old kids. The game room was the biggest hit! We enjoyed the hot tub too. It was fun to explore Joshua Tree National Park. I'm already daydreaming about our next trip to the area. I'd definitely stay at this VRBO again!

Great Amenities and So Close to the Park!

My friends and I all had a great time here. There were so many fun amenities that we are going to have to come back again to utilize them all! Good time in the game room and hot tub, cute place, has everything you need and more. Hosts were very responsive! Will be back!

Great house; perfect for my husband and our two teenage daughters. We spent our mornings hiking at Joshua Tree National Park and our afternoons playing pool and ping pong in the game room or watching movies on one of the two TVs. We were able to easily cook our own meals with the full kitchen and provided cooking utensils. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out when they wanted. The owner was very quick to respond to all my questions.

Really nice little house

Stayed here for a few days and it was wonderful. The house was clean, comfortable, and smelled great. The view from the backyard is amazing and the location is great for exploring the area. I brought my jeep so we were able to go off road and see even more remote places. Parking is ample and the fully fenced yard was perfect for my dog. He loved being able to run around after being stuck on the road for 4 days.

The house is definitely outdated but they have styled it to make it feel more modern. The house is fully stocked which was so nice. There was a full spice rack, cotton swabs, an air fryer, coffee maker, pots, pans, every type of utensil you would need, etc. My husband and I stayed for a weekend away from our son for the first time in a year so it was really perfect for that. It's also super close to town and was 25 minutes from the Integratron. The only downside was that you have to text the owner to adjust the air conditioner and I'm very sensitive to heat/cold, so I often change it throughout the day, so I felt bad texting her every day, and she'd usually take a few hours to respond. But, for most people it probably wouldn't be an issue.

The place and host were both great, as my partner, our dog, and I were looking for a quiet staycation away from the July 4 fireworks. Our host, Kara, was communicative and accommodating as she was dealing with some issues from the previous guests who stayed before us. Unfortunately we weren’t able to use the pool as a result, but our host was accommodating and still made sure we were taken care of in other ways. The house itself is cozy and clean. There were a lot of dishes and utensils to use which was great for us as we brought food to cook ourselves for a night in. The game room was nice too so we spent a lot of time in there too. Figuring out which switches or remotes turned on what lights and stuff was a bit confusing at first but we made it work! The mounted TV in the living room was huge and the pull-out couch made it comfy to watch movies all weekend too. We didn’t get a chance to be outside much since it was super hot, but the hammocks outside and bonfire pit area were cool, we would have loved to hang out there if the weather was better. Overall we enjoyed our short but relaxing stay. Thank you again Kara!

the house was ok but maybe slightly overpriced. the oven did not work properly, there was not enough silverware, I had to buy a lamp for the dark living room. just little things.

Amazing Stay for four family

This was a meticulous property that our entire family enjoyed! The house was extremely clean, with all the creature comforts you can ask for in a home away from home. There was a full game room in the garage with pool table, ping pong, darts and TV. It even has a heater/AC unit so it was always a pleasant temperature in the game room. Fast internet, Disney, Netflix, YouTube on the TV. The location is perfect: close to JT national park, it also overlooks JT’s main strip. One mile, or 10 min walk to the local bars and coffee shops (in the AM). Would highly recommend to other families, or groups of friends. Would stay at again, thank you Kara :)
