Very Poor Management

We chose this place because it had a BBQ and a hot tub. I called in advance and asked if the BBQ was a good size and working. They told me I had to pay an additional 15 to put full gas tank on the BBQ to ensure it had gas. I payed the additional 15 even though it should be full without paying extra. However after going there the BBQ had no gas and was not working properly. The management said they would send someone to fix the issue and never showed up after multiple calls. We had to go out and eat, somewhere far away since we were in a remote area. And the hot tub was cold and did not work. This placed is managed by a poorly run out of the country (somewhere in India) management company that does not follow through with any issues and concerns. Stay away!

Worst Rental Experience Ever

From the beginning communication with this host was a nightmare. Could barely get responses and when they would respond they were zero help. Hot tub was cold when I arrived even though I specifically asked for it to be hot. Wi-Fi didn't work and when I complained they wanted me to send a photo of wifi not working. How exactly do I do that?? Then they want me to fix the non working wifi?? I'm not here to fix your rental. The TVs didn't work. There were dead flies on the window sills, stains on the carpet. I asked the host to call me maybe 20 different times and they refused. When I say this was a nightmare situation it's an understatement. After wasting hours of my life trying to communicate with host and VRBO customer support I ended up staying at Hotel in Yucca Valley instead because I was so disgusted by the experience. CoHaus Collective and my host Alexandra should be so embarrassed. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.

Great spot

Rolled up to the house and followed the directions for keyless entry. The directions said to “tap” the key pad to enter the code. I tried tapping for 10 minutes, no luck. I then pressed the key pad, hard and it finally came on. Not a huge deal but still. We were looking forward to a jacuzzi after a concert. We read the instructions- essentially don’t touch anything, jacuzzi is already heating. Well, it never heated up. That was a drag. The shower is super hard to turn on. I thought it was broken but my friend got it turned on. Those are not super big deals. But the jacuzzi was. It’s a super cute house, bedrooms are nice and comfortable. Great location.

Misrepresented and mismanaged

We were supposed to receive check-in info 3 days before. The day before I had not received anything and vrbo had to give me the owner's info and I had to try to reach them for address, etc. Then they sent an email with instructions. When we arrived, the code they gave for the keypad door did not work. Again, I had to track them down to gain access, at 7:00 PM. The instructions said the hot tub would be on and not to change settings. It was cold and would not turn on. I contacted them yet again and they asked for a photo of the controls of the hot tub, which I provided, and they did not respond. There was a firepit, but the instructions said to go into town and purchase wood, which we were not about to do at night. Also, the two tvs did not work, only static. I have reached out several more times for some type of explanation or aplology or offer of some sort to adjustment, but there has been no response. Do not stay here!

This was a comfortable place to stop on our way through town. It didn’t seem close to any downtown area, but that was fine for our purposes. The fenced yard was very convenient for our dogs and the home was comfortable and had everything we needed. Thanks!

We loved our stay and loved this house. It’s in such a prime location, and the size and decor are exactly what we were looking for. It was extremely easy to contact the owners, and the check-in/check-out process was very seamless. This property was one of the only places we could find that had a king size bed in one of he rooms, which is a huge selling point for us. Literally have no complaints, except that the property said it had a jacuzzi and we were contacted a few days after booking saying that it had broken and might not be repaired in time. Someone did come out and look at it while we were there so we have no reason to believe that it truly had just broken. Overall, we loved the place, felt very safe and very comfortable, and would definitely look to book again in the future. Side note: Sky High Pizza just down at the bottom of the road from the house is amazing!!

Great location and great stay!

Loved the place! Clean, great communication from the host, and loved how close it is to JP. Hot tub was out but I guess we could’ve asked before booking to confirm so I don’t blame the hosts since they did tell us before we arrived. Would definitely stay there again!

Wonderfully Boho/Retro House

We travel quite a lot and this is on the top of the list for being pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. We stayed the prior night at a different VRBO in Joshua Tree and it was a major disappointment. This is the place to relax, eat and enjoy company. No TV in the living room which in our opinion is the way it should be. There are TV’s in a couple of the bedrooms.

Super cute place in a great location

We really enjoyed the fire pit. The kitchen was super useable. The host was very responsive. The beds were comfy and the shower water pressure was pretty good. We were happy we had a dishwasher and laundry facilities. The location in relation to Joshua Tree is excellent. Walmart is 10 minutes away so that was convenient too. Two cars parked comfortably in the driveway. Very quiet neighborhood but there are packs of coyotes that we saw so small pets and kids need to be protected.

Amazing experience in Joshua Tree

We had two great days visiting Joshua Tree National Park and the area. Audrey’s place had a perfect location; the house was spacious, clean, comfortable, and it had everything we needed. We particularly loved the decor; the room colours and furniture were in perfect harmony with the surrounding desert environment. Highly recommended!!

Excellent Joshua Tree locale

I don’t normally write too much about our rentals but this rental is so tastefully done and comfortable and so convenient to Joshua Tree-it deserves extra comment! Stay here when in the area and you will enjoy your time off the trails.
