But while the kitchen appliances were retro looking and cute, they weren’t functional for my family’s needs. I couldn’t get the oven to work, my pizza from the market didn’t fit in the compact fridge, and the microwave had Roman numerals on the dials for settings but I didn’t know that the settings meant. "The hotel stay itself was good - the breakfast is good and the room was clean. However, nowhere on Expedia does it say that there is a charge for parking. This isn’t in an area where one would expect people to park that don’t belong there. In addition, when I got my credit card bill, they charged me for the room when I had already prepaid through Expedia. I’m waiting for my refund. But I can’t recommend this hotel because of these issues. "
