There were bugs in the beds. Place was filthy. Bedspreads and sheets looked like someone had walked on them with very dirty shoes. I have seen cleaner bathroom's in run down gas stations you need to get a key to go into.

VERY dirty and poor service. Front office was unwilling to assist in any of the issues we had during our stay. We were supposed to stay 3 nights but checked out early after only one night and found a nicer place in Joplin for not much more money. Will never stay here again

Housekeeping walked in before checkout time, while we were still in bed, although I called to them not to come in. They heard me. Then they told us to leave, and walked out leaving the door open. It was near checkout time but we get ready fast. This was inexcusable.

It was so dirty. There was hair on the bathroom towels. It didn’t look like the toilet or shower had ever been cleaned before. Burn holes on the blanket. I didn’t even stay the night. I was so uncomfortable that I left within the hour of check in.

The floor was so dirty it made you’re feet black. The people in the room next to me was supper loud. There was only one Pillow and when we asked for another pillow they said they didn’t have any.

The place was nasty!!! Smoke detector was yanked out, molded food under beds, blood stains on walls, dirty nasty stained sheets, beds smelled of dog piss. Criminal element on the property. This was a waste of money!!!! The streets were cleaner then the room, also the inside door wasn't locked. I myself want a refund but obviously not going to get it, DONT STAY HERE PAY MORE FOR A BETTER ROOM ELSEWHERE

Without a doubt the filthiest motel I’ve ever been to! Old mattresses covered in stains, some looked like blood stains, and bedbugs scurrying about! The bedspreads were equally filthy and stained. I got out of there fast, apparently forfeiting my money as Expedia has no intention of communicating with me! I drove on down the road, and slept in my car! DON’T BOOK A ROOM HERE-EVER !!! And think twice about booking any hotel through “No Refunds” Expedia!

Officially the dirtiest and scariest hotel I've been to. I just needed a quick last minute hotel so i picked the cheapest one. I just wanted a shower and sleep after being on the road all day. I've always trusted hotels i book on expedia. Well you get what you pay for. It was so dirty and smelly. Ive even stayed in 3rd world countries. I Couldn't find a remote for the t.v. there was even spit and hair in the bathroom sink. I ended up leaving after 20 minutes.

The walls and door were dirty. Room had multiple cobwebs and several other types of insects. Shower was filthy outside. Bed sheets had recent stains, along with one of the pillows. Floor had little bits of asphalt mashed on it. Microwave was dirty inside. No room phone. After a couple decades of extensive worldwide experience at hotel/motels this has got to be the worst. I do not recommend this motel.

Horrible experience with motel 6. Reserved and paid for 2 rooms next to each other. Got checked in went to the room and one of the doors would not open. Went to the office several times and the lady just kept saying it Should work tired explaining it was not opening. Finally after the 3rd time she gave us another room across the property. The bathrooms were nasty and not clean at all. Also there was no hot water the entire time during our stay. Very disappointed

When I tried to check in there was no one available. I tried knocking (nd pounding) on the counter. I tried calling out and yelling for someone to respond. I even tried calling the phone number and no one answered. Finally about 10 minutes later someone showed up. The room had a bad smell and the bed spread was covered in small holes. There was no phone in the room. I had come to town for a wedding and when my friends asked when I was staying they told me they would not let me stay there beause it was known as the drug motel in Joplin. Needless to say, after the wedding, I went back and retrieved my items and went and stayed with a friend who refused to let me stay at the motel.

This Motel 6 should be shut down immediately!! The health department needs to be notified of their unsanitary and thoroughly disgusting rooms. The comforter and blanket smelled of filthy wet dogs. The table had something sticky spilled all over it. The bench seat had brown stuff smeared on it. The bathroom was so nasty that even after wiping down the toilet with Lysol Disinfectant Wipes we still put toilet paper on the seat before using. The shower floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. The counter top around the sink had greasy smeared fingerprints all over it. The hand towel rack was literally mounted underneath the counter with the hand towel, that had light brown with black spots on the front of it, hanging about 6 inches from the floor that hadn't been mopped in decades. The microwave and small fridge was dirty inside and out. The whole room smelled like a garbage dump. Then to make you feel real safe above the door handle it warns you to not only set the security lock but to make sure you lock the deadbolt as well for your safety. I've never stayed in a motel where this is printed in big letters above the door handle inside your room. This dump should be condemned quick!!

Terrible hotel, not honoring my prepaid

I booked and prepaid for this hotel months ago, but when I got to the hotel, they claimed they didn't have my reservation, claiming they don't deal with EXPEDIA or hotels.com, What? I think they are lying so they can charge me higher rates. I had to pay them even though I already paid hotels.com already. Terrible staff, very rude.

Never again.

It was filthy, so much so that I slept with my boots on on top of the bedding, then threw away my personal pillows i used instead of the ones provided. Roaches. It was utterly horrid.

The worst experience ever

This is the worst place ever. So I booked for my wife. While she was sleeping, she felt an itch. And when she turned the light on and check the blanket, she found like three bed bugs. This was like 2:30 in the morning. She did not want to sleep in that room, she asked for a new room. When she checked the bed in a new room just to be sure, under the blanket, she found dead bed bugs and some human hairs.
